My stay was great. A wonderful lobby with complementary wine tasting every night, which was very nice. I wish the rooms were just a little bit nicer, but all the same the little "village" aspect was really pretty to walk around, and I had a really pleasant time sitting by my fireplace. I also had a nice visit to the spa, and ordered some really great room service! Definitely a win in my book. It was raining when I was present, and the outdoors was a little lackluster during this- everything seemed closed down and dark (which was a bit of a bummer). Still, the stay was a higher caliber than non-autograph Marriotts, so it was quite enjoyable.

Overall excellent stay.

Room: Excellent well-designed cottages

Breakfast: Breakfast is FANTASTIC. Plenty of options for vegetarians and they have put a great spin on brekfast items. Kudos to the Chef.

Wine Tasting: We really enjoyed the wine tasting.

Pool: Pool and Hot Tub were very good.

Note: This resort is designed for couples, not families. Would love to return as a couple.

We had breakfast every morning at Benicia's Kitchen when we stayed at the Lodge at Sonoma to celebrate our anniversary. Food was very fresh and served hot. Irene is an asset to the Lodge. She made sure we were satisfied with everything. In the afternoon, we went to the bar where Sara and Dan made excellent drinks and took care of us. Both were very friendly and engaging. Kudos to the entire staff at Benicia's Kitchen.
They made our stay a memorable event.

Great small cottage rooms. Very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was really good at the hotel. Front desk was super friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay.

Rooms are clean and modern but a bit noisy (sliding bathroom doors [not much privacy], main room door, and shower doors). Restaurant and happy hour are excellent! Handicap parking should be closer to an entrance.

Our third visit to this hotel did not disappoint! We love this place and the staff was so friendly!! Irene the food and beverage manager was absolutely incredible!! She is a true asset to her staff and hotel!! Thanks to Hector for bringing her on board. We prefer the cottages, love the pool and beautiful gardens. The restaurants, Benicia’s and Witt and Wisdom were fantastic! Consistent food and service!! Some of the best in Sonoma. A beautiful and comfortable place to stay

Very nice and clean room. Definitely upscale with nice touches such as the complimentary filtered drinking water and the books in the room. The pool and fitness center are nice.

I stayed here for a wine weekend and really enjoyed the property. The room was large and comfortable, and the pool and restaurant. The only weakness is the fitness center. The gym is small and has only one set of dumbbells and a bench and a couple of machines. It could be improved.

We stayed a few times at this hotel on weekend trips to Napa. It is expensive so we do when we find good deals.
The property is very nice and the staff is very friendly. It has a nice swimming pool and a large lobby area that is perfect for board games with the kids, or just enjoying a book and a coffee or glass of wine. The villas are a particularly nice way to stay as they are detached from the main building and surrounded by vegetation.

It has Spanish architecture, it’s has lots of gardens and greenery around the property. Lodge has nice restaurant on the property and they do complimentary wine tasting on the weekends. Beautiful pool to cool down during hot summer days.

The Staff at the Lodge is remarkable! From the start the valet was very accommodating and took care of all of our luggage. The front office welcomed ups and made sure to walk us through the amenities of the property. Breakfast at Benicia's kitchen was great! I can recommend the latte- they even offer a shot of your favorite liquor if you want to cozy up by the fire after breakfast in the beautifully appointed and spacious lobby. Wit&Wisdom was a real splurge, but totally worth it. Our room was delightful. The bed was comfortable, and the place was impeccably clean. I specifically liked the in-room coffee maker, and water that was provided complimentary. I would stay again and definitely during the Holiday Season. The complimentary hot chocolate was a bonus for the kids! We will be back.

We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday, the lodge at Sonoma did not disappoint. We had such a fantastic time. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean, and accommodating. The people that work there are extremely nice and always there to help, the restaurant “wit and wisdom” was fantastic, the food was top notch, we had such great food and desserts. There was nothing we didn’t like. we also booked an excursion to the wine country with a wine trolley the Lodge took care of setting that up for us, and the tour picked us up right at the doors of the lodge, and then returned us back at the same spot at the end of the day. We had such a great day and a great weekend. We will definitely be coming back with friends very soon. Thank you so much for an awesome time.

My husband and I recently stayed here for 5 nights during our vacation. One reason we chose this property is due to my loyalty to Marriott properties with my work travel and the status I have achieved helps with benefits during vacation travel. We originally booked a King Balcony room and were upgraded to a King Cottage with outdoor soaking tub due to my "suite night reward" redemption. The room was spacious and comfortable with a private patio with soaking tub and fireplace. We also received a $60 per day welcome gift for breakfast at Benicia's restaurant on property, which was delicious food with great service. Definitely a plus, right before you head to vineyards to wine taste! The hotel also has nightly wine tastings in the lobby and gives each guest a voucher for a free welcome drink everyday (you can redeem for a beverage of up to $14 at any of the hotel restaurants including Wit and Wisdom). This resort has many communal spaces for enjoying the property and offers free coffee in the lobby every morning. I personally loved the location of this property in Sonoma. After a day in crowded Napa, it was a welcomed departure to a much quieter Sonoma in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return here if ever back in the area. This is a beautiful property in Sonoma, It has improved every time we have stayed at this property. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff was amazing they helped every time we had a question or concern. Coffee and breakfast were great in the morning and Wit and Wisdom out did themselves for services and quality of food. We did use the spa as well and were so happy with our treatments and the staff we interacted with leaving us witho a wonderful relaxing time. There was construction in the parking area but did not cause us any problems or noise at any time. Look forward to return soon.

Beautiful property! We had not visited since they completed their renovation. The property looks excellent. The rooms are all refreshed and comfortable. The pool had a true resort feel and was the perfect spot to unwind. The happy hour wine in the lobby coupled with live music outside… enhanced the evening. This is a great location to all that wine country has to offer! Great getaway for couples, friends reuniting and even families.

The Lodge Hotel & Resort is a beautiful property in the middle of Sonoma! I loved everything about my experience staying at the hotel. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the amenities are fantastic! They have two amazing restaurants (Wit & Wisdom is a great place for a date night) and the staff is very knowledgeable about activities to participate in around town. Great service, amazing food, comfy rooms, beautiful property!

Wow, what a renovation! Not only is the property beautiful, but the staff is incredible too. A few friends and I stayed there this past weekend and the hotel did not disappoint. The pool layout is great for quiet relaxation or having drinks with friends, you can literally spend the entire day there...and we did. The cabana style lounge chairs are so comfortable. And who does not enjoy complimentary wine tasting from 4p-5p. The live music by the fire pit was a perfect place to enjoy the bottle of wine we purchased from the restaurant bar just before dinner. Both couples and families enjoyed this space. One of our favorite areas of the property was the bocce ball/corn hole "courtyard" space; it was like our own private backyard. The bikes were also a nice touch. Our rooms were so clean and well appointed, the housekeeping staff was so friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we cannot wait to return!

Great place to stay. I would like to see a microwave in the cottages and a better thermostat that doesn’t randomly turn on the heat when we want cooling. For the price, these things should be improved. Other that that, love this place. Have stayed multiple times now and would again. Good food at the inside restaurant and the Wit and Wisdom. Grounds are beautiful and staff are great!

Stayed for a week with the family and it was a great time. Room was comfy, cozy and relaxing.

We got a suite with an outdoor tub. It was all set up for relaxing with a book, tablet Or however you like to do while ya soak.

Definitely looking forward to next time.
