Overall a great place to have a nice dinner. The portions were pretty big, so the prices were actually pretty reasonable overall. The octopus was amazing, and so was the short rib! Also enjoyed the brussel sprouts and mussels. The blue cheese olive vodka martini was also killer.

The mussels were uniquely prepared and the added serrano pepper slices gave it an unexpected kick.
The paella was loaded with seafood cook to perfection and the rice has a beautiful and crunchy crust.
The pasta, fresh salad and chicken sandwich weren’t as surprising next to the mussels and the paella. Overall a great birthday lunch

We came here for dinner tonight for the first night of our honeymoon-everything was superb. The atmosphere is romantic, even the lighting is pleasant. We sat at the bar and the two gentleman who helped us were phenomenal! Super attentive and great service. The food was delicious, especially the focaccia and cornbread. And the drinks were 10/10. Would absolutely return!!

A Sonoma wine country must visit for culinary delight. What a menu! What to choose? It’s all so gourmet and delicious. This butternut squash soup was divine and so was everything we had. Very pricey, but you expect that with the amount of ingredients perfection you get from each entree.

El Dorado Kitchen is a must visit in Sonoma. Their food is made with fresh ingredients, heartily prepared, and isn't just about show and display. The style of cooking isn't ostensible and focuses on bringing out a home-style flavor, presented in a delightful way.

The truffle fries are wonderful and so were the tuna tacos. The food can come across slightly bland but with the wine, all fit perfectly well. The salad was marvelously balanced with soft Brussel sprouts, cheese, and pomegranates. This salad is extremely difficult to get the balance right as the ingredients as well as the vinegarette can fight with each other. It is absolutely clear they take extreme care in their preparation.

The highlight was the salmon served with butternut squash puree. The salmon was perfectly cooked with pink insides but the "blandness" of the fish was perfectly compensated with the pseudo sweet puree. It was a great harmony of soft, salty, and sweet, all gently mingling.

If you are in downtown Sonoma, El Dorado Kitchen is a must. Will return!

The service and ambiance are great. They have atleast one vegan option for appetizers, entree and dessert and some that can be veganized. The flavors are rich and exceptional. I'd love to visit again if there are more vegan items on menu to choose from.

Great place to eat when in Sonoma. They offer awesome seafood entrées as well as great bar food choices. Also they're alcoholics and non alcoholic menu is superb. The servers are completely top notch , gotta come back to visit.

The food was fresh, delicious and had enough variety to accommodate our entire party. Service was exceptional with perfect timing of food's arrival to table in between courses. Great place ro dine in Sonoma.

We had a great evening at El Dorado Kitchen. Our food was really good, the Paella is not authentic to the Spanish version, you probably would expect that anyway, but it was worth every penny and it is the signature dish of this restaurant. Hank was a very attentive waiter and fun as well. We enjoyed it a lot, thanks again.

Espresso martinis are top notch, deliciously creamy and roasty. Went just for drinks but wanted an app of olives. Wasn’t on the menu so the bartender gave us some delicious olives from the bar. We didn’t stay for dinner but the place was buzzin so I’m fairly certain the food would be delightful!

Everything we ordered was excellent. We had the beef carpacio, the pork belly was simply superb. A must try. Probably one of the best I have had. The right kind of crispy and flavors. My husband had the cauliflower soup and it was amazing. The oyster we're good but nothing special.

For dinner we had the fettuccine and the Paella. Both were excellent. Every flavor was on the dot and delighted us!

The drinks were well done and it is a place we will recommend to our friends and come back to, if in the area.

I'm still new(ish) to Sonoma and finally got around to dining here. I shouldn't have waited so long. All our dishes were fantastic, tasty and nicely presented. We had starters of Roasted Maitake Mushrooms and the housemade Focaccia and Cornbread, and then split the Filet Mignon main and finished with the molten chocolate lava cake. Plus delightful cocktails and wine. It was all excellent. Our Server Spencer was spot on with our questions and her recommendations, and provided great service. And we loved the atmosphere: cozy, classy but not snobby. We will 100% be back.

Amazing food here! This wouldn’t be the place to skimp or skip a course…from starters to desserts, they’ve got you covered. Excellent service and lots of seating inside and outdoors. Wagyu Beef Carpaccio is a must. Short Rib is super tenders and delicious. The Mushroom Burrata Tart is excellent. Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée - what a way to end the evening. 😍

Lovely patio at the back. Friendly service...good ambience, doesn't feel like eating in a stiff hotel. The grilled maitake mushroom was awesome! Seafood paella was flavourful and the bits of charred rice gives a textural mouthful. Unfortunately the mussels tasted slightly off.

We went back again for lunch the next day and ordered the tofu bowl and grilled asparagus. It's really worth it!

My husband and I honeymooned around Northern California in search of beautiful views in nature and delicious eats. Let me tell you El Dorado did not disappoint.

The beef carpaccio was a tasty appetizer to start our dinner! The service was incredible and the staff is so attentive. I don’t need to say more about the entrees… just look at the photos and go there yourself to find out. 10/10 would return.

This restaurant is amazing!!

I did a sister valentine's trip with seven of us and it was pretty much the only restaurant in the area that would easily accommodate our group. Our server, Daniel, had such a great personality and provided amazing service! Seating in the outdoor courtyard area was gorgeous with a large olive tree right in the center! And we were kept warm with the right amount of heaters in the courtyard. Every single dish we had was UNBELIEVABLY delicious and came out SO quickly!

This experience was amazing! I was a hostess in my day so I know that their job is to be highly organized & provide AMAZING guest service since they are the guest's first impression of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the hostess who "accommodated" us was completely lost. I don't know how else to put it. (Didn't get the name but she had orange hair.) She clearly couldn't handle having a line of guests waiting to check in for dinner, struggled to understand that I was simply checking in for our reservation 5 minutes prior to it, provided no relevant information, and was complaining about personal issues like not getting enough sleep. As a guest I was frustrated-- I can only imagine how the servers must feel.

It was nowhere near professional and was the only miss in this otherwise perfect dining experience!

Very nice and fancy restaurant. The service was so good and everything was delivered in a timely manner. I took a risk with the veggie risotto and it really paid off. It was absolutely delicious and we'll cooked. I went to northern Italy and I have had tried risotto before and this one was way better.
The paella was nice and well presented.
The Carpaccio was very tasty as well.
The waiter was above and beyond, very professional, it is hard to see that nowadays.
