Invincible Comics

I love this shop they’re really really good Doing pull Lists, For the novice, it means that when they order Comics, they order extra Comics for those who want them to be put aside for them when they come in. Also, they do really good with Customer Service. Almost everyone that works. There are really personable really knows what they’re talking about the comic culture and overall nice people. So if you’re in the Modesto area, you guys got to check this place out. The only drawback is they do not have a lot of back issues. But they do buy comics from people as well, which is good.

The best comic shop in town. Has a great selection of current books, an ever growing collection of blackstock and older issues, and a large trade paperback selection. The owner is always friendly and has a wealth of information about all things comics. They attend a lot of shows so they keep a lot of grades books incentive issues and key issues on hand. Lots of signed books too. Going to this shop is one of the highlights of my week.

Well stocked, clean, organized. Some high end back issued and keys, along with the weekly releases. Great store overall.

The owner is absolutely awesome! He is super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and makes you feel welcome. I have asked him countless questions and I am always blown away when he is able to answer every single inquiry right away. The man is a living encyclopedia for comics! Google has nothing on him!

Great place to check out the latest new drops in comics. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Definitely ask if you have questions or are looking for something specific. I love the convenience of being on a pull list and there's tons of stuff they can order in too.

First off, very friendly staff. Gave me a quick lay of the land, as each shop has their own way of organizing back stock. Loved the use of old mechanics drawers to store the comics in, and the shop floor scooters made it easy to look through. Large amounts of Marvel and DC, with a good selection of Inde publishers.

Will be stopping again my next trip through Modesto.

The store is clean and well organized. All the new books are bagged and boarded and actually in alphabetical order! Sean is awesome, welcoming and fun to talk to. You can give your pull list and they even coordinate signings when different cons are going on nearby. Again, the cleanest and most well organized comic book shop I’ve ever been in!

Best shop in the area by far. Friendly ownership and staff with a large inventory of new books and back issues. Highly recommend you visit Invincible Comics if you are ever in Modesto

Sean has consistently made my trios to the shop not on memorable but informative. he quickly made me feel like family and I look forward to each visit to pick up my weekly products.

Best place for comics in the central valley! Sean is a wonderful guy, & is always providing service with a smile! It's perfect for readers of all ages, & has a great variety of comic genre's. They even team up with artists, & do events locally! They are AMAZING!

Initially, I was irked at the fact that I had to drive to Modesto from Turlock just to get some comics. However, that irritation evaporated at the moment I walked in to the shop. I was greeted with a smile and an authentic welcome by Sean. It's more than apparent how much he cares about service, because this was the cleanest and most organized shop I've ever seen.

Sean immediately explained how the shop was organized and seamlessly answered my numerous questions and helped me get set up, all while greeting other customers AND being a great sport to my 3 year old son who was curious about EVERYTHING! After my second visit today, I already feel like a regular! Sean remembered me AND the titles we discussed the week prior. I've definitely found my home shop. Thank you Sean!!!

It's a well organized clean establishment. I went in on a day where the owner of the shop was out on business and his mom and dad were watching the shop for him. I asked the mom a comic book question not knowing she was just filling in for her son and she was friendly, honest and politely explained to that in her words lol "I'm just babysitting the store today". I said "oh OK I was just wondering thank you for the help" she apologized. Overall it was a great experience for my first time in the store. This will be my permanent comic book store from now on.

Friendly staff. Today was free comic book day. Plus they had artists there. My son got a cool Spiderman pic from one of them. He also ended up getting a big comic book. Very clean and organized place. Will def be going back to get more comics.

Invincible comics is a very clean and comfortable shop. Sean makes everyone feel welcome. Go in and check it out for yourself. He is very helpful and will go out of his way to make sure you get what you are wanting. I myself can't wait to go and get my Wonder Woman coloring book and one for my friend. The assortment of comics is awesome he has cardboard decorative boxes for your comic books and all kinds of coloring comic books. Go in check out the nice clean inviroment you won't be sorry. Sean is one fo the coolest shop owners in town. Invincible is quick to respond to my requests or questions about any series I can come up with. Easily my favorite store in modesto.

Went here for the first time last week and am sad I am just now finding this gem! They have a great selection of comics and a nice amount of action figures too! Found quite a few back issues that I needed and Sabrina was very helpful and friendly!

I love this place! Owner is professional and friendly. I came in about preordering and the owner really made me feel welcome. The shop called invincible comics, not sure why anyone would assume they sell cards much less give a negative review.

Great place to find that special comic that you want to add to your collection. They have a large selection of graded comics that are Autographed. And custom comic book artists, COMMISSIONED comics. Plus they have a wide selection of modern day comics. I just love this store!
