Farmers Insurance - Cathy DeBoer

I cannot recommend this insurance agent enough. Cathy is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful…she went above and beyond to help me out in a very stressful situation. Her customer service was top-notch and I felt like she truly had my best interests at heart. I will definitely be using her for all of my insurance needs in the future. 5 stars! Thanks, Cathy!!

Cathy and her staff just saved me a ton of money and hassle. I can't thank them enough for it! Here's the story:

By mistake or intent, someone added themselves to my address. Farmers' automated systems noticed and added them to my policy. I have a clean driving record with no claims on either my auto or renters policy, but as a result of this activity Farmers was going to raise my premium by 240%. In reviewing my policy, Cathy flagged this and brought it to my attention. I usually don't look too closely at my policy because of my record. She and her staff were able to correct that error and remove this unknown person from my policy.

That was not the end of it, however. Farmers did not change my bill. They were still going to charge me more than twice my current rate once my policy renewed. Once this was brought to her attention, not only did Cathy make sure Farmers corrected their mistake, she found me an additional discount I qualified for to drop my rates even lower than they would have been.

This is a great example of how dealing with a local agent, a real person instead of a web page and the computer behind it, can be hugely beneficial. I have had several different agents with Farmers as I have moved around California and each has worked hard to represent me with the company. Cathy and her staff are the best of the best in this.

I switched to Farmers insurance after having horrible service with other companies and it has been the best decision I’ve get made. Cathy is hands down the BEST agent I have ever had! I can email her day or night and she gets back to me within minutes. She is easy to talk to, extremely polite and always provides excellent service. If you are looking for a reliable insurance company choose farmers and ask for Cathy!!!!!!

Cathy was very professional, the attention to detail was great, especially since I've not done this before so she was extra attentive. I think what I appreciated the most was how extremely responsive she was to my calls. Thank you Cathy!!

I met Cathy yesterday. Very nice and very knowledgeable. Her entire staff was fantastic. She answered all of my questions and spent all the time needed with me so that I understood everything before leaving. She was amazing. I would recommend her to anyone for all of their insurance needs.

Have been with her about a year and never talk with her when anyone does call back.

We’ve have been with Cathy for over 15yrs her service has dropped extremely causing us to seek car n home insurance else where however we only changed agents for our life insurance. When changing our our new insurance agent informed us of a serious issue that,,Cathy didn’t take care of n completed that we thought she handled but she never did! we were highly upset with Cathy, so our new agent explained to us how to close the serious error so it wouldn’t affect our insurance in the future. We were very pleased leaving Cathy.
