I have been with Sylvan Vet for many years. Staff has always taken very good care of my dogs. Tiffany Hart is hands down the best doctor, a true professional.

The Vets and the Techs are very knowledgeable and more importantly they are very understanding of pet parents’ needs. They want you to know what is best for your pet and explain your options as far as care vs cost. They really work with you to make an intelligent decision about your pet!

Love this vet. The people here are all nice and the vet actually cares about our pets. They don’t do anything unnecessary just to up-charge. We bring all of our dogs and cats here.

This is a great place to take your pets. They are very friendly and always make your visit as easy as possible. They are great with the care they give to our babies. My pets are still scared going to the vet but don’t put up a fight like at other places. I am very happy with Sylvan and will continue to take all my pets here.

My dog is about as nervous as a dog can be going to the vet, and isn't always the easiest patient to care for. It's a stressful experience for her which can make it a stressful experience for me as well. I have nothing but good things to say about Sylvan Veterinary Hospital and am so grateful for their caring, compassionate and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Roussell is fantastic and takes the time to listen to and discuss any concerns I have.

We have been taking our pets to Sylvan Vet for years, ever since they were puppies. They have always been the most caring individuals; staff & doctors and we will never go anywhere else! We recently had an emergency with our senior dog and let me tell you Dr. Pam and her staff were absolutely fantastic! Dr. Pam and her staff stayed after hours to ensure we got our pet questions answered and the staffed helped us get our girl safely to the car so we could transport her to the hospital. During covid we also had an emergency, and that Dr came out to our car, he stayed and answered all our questions to make sure my husband was completely at ease with what our options were. I have been taking my Dempsey to Dr Cordosa for almost 8 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else EVER! The staff is always friendly, helpful and so kind not only to my animal but everyone that walks through the door. I would highly recommend them to anyone that loves their pet!

I absolutely love this place. All the staff are super nice and always helpful. I'm extremely picky and wouldn't take my baby anywhere else after finding Sylvan.

I brought my dogs here a couple of times when we couldn't get in with our previous veterinarian. Our animals were treated with compassion and they were very thorough. Everything was explained and all our questions answered, not rushed out. I loved this office so much I applied for a job and that was the best decision of my life!!!! They go out of their way to make employees feel valued 🥰 level of care is TOP notch 👌

I have no problem getting an appointment. There's no wait time once I get there, I like the doctors and the staff.

Our dog was in need of hospice services and this place was amazing. We had time to love her and be with her when she passed and never felt rushed or a burden. They were empathetic and treated our baby with dignity up until the end and beyond. We are eternally grateful!

Been going to see Dr Magnussen and the gang for 20 years or more. My German Shepherd Dieter is well known at Sylvan and is currently being taken care of by Dr Rojas who is an excellent vet that came to Sylvan as a tech and Dr Magnussen gave him a well earned promotion to Vet status. Tina , Natalie and the rest of the support staff are very professional and customer oriented. You will not find a better, more caring veterinary hospital in the Valley. They will always go the extra mile.

I give Sylvan Vet Hospital a 5 star rating. My 6 month old English Bulldog was hit by a car. He has a splint in back leg and surgery in back hip due to a fracture. I am so glad Modesto Emergency hospital mentioned Sylvan Vet hospital to us. We live in the foothills and it was hard for us to find a vet emergency place. Sylvan Vet hospital have ortho surgeons, vet doctors and tech nurses. The whole staff is wonderful , caring and have good customer service. Thank you Sylvan Vet Hospital Staff for your help.

Absolutely amazing service. My dog was having an emergency, and we got in first thing in the morning. Dr. Ricardo Rojas is an amazing veterinarian - they all are, but he made me feel so much better about the situation today. The nurses are incredibly gentle, sweet and caring. Meghan came and took my pup from the car, and rushed her inside after making sure I was okay too. They’re still doing curbside services only, but I didn’t feel afraid leaving my dog (my child) in their care. I also really appreciate the professional yet very friendly and compassionate manners of the reception staff. Marissa, Mike and Erik were so warm and welcoming as well as concerned and helpful. Literally, from the first second until the last, my experience with Sylvan Vet was nothing but incredible. Thank you guys!!!!

Everyone is so caring and professional. They explain everything to you they text and or email you asking how your pet is doing. I have never had such wonderful caring service for my 🐕

Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful Doctors and staff. Shout out to Dr. Rojas! Beautiful, clean facility. I found the cost for service very reasonable. They found an appointment slot for my sick puppy when I needed it. So happy to have found them. I highly recommend Sylvan for your furbaby needs.

Update-have you ever had a Vet call to see how your pet is progressing with his treatment? Well ours did! I sent a message just inquiring if I should put my furbaby on a sensitive diet once he goes back to his kibble. I was just expecting an email back, but he actually called,inquired about my puppies (and my) well being and discussed the sensitive diet issue. I don't care that they are 30mins away. Sylvan is my new Vet of choice! Thank you Sylvan for your excellent service. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

LOVE Dr. Pam, Dr. Kakarla and the staff. They took such great care of our Rhodesian Ridgeback after Cherry Eye Repair surgery, including putting up with all of his crying. Our dog loves going to see the vet! Does it get better than that?

Fourteen year old Frankie loves Dr Chelse! She has such a pleasant way with him. She helped bring him back to health after a long battle with his digestive system. The facility is clean and comfortable and the staff are very caring also and never seem stressed or rushed. Frankie is healthier than he has ever been!

We live about 2 hours away from Sylvan Veterinary Hospital but when a friend raved about them and told me they do laparoscopic spays for dogs I decided to take my 7 month old puppy there to be spayed. They were awesome, very well organized and efficient. The facility is beautiful and immaculately clean. The vets seem to have time to talk to you, something that doesn't happen much with most of the vets we've gone to lately. They took wonderful care of our puppy, and their fees for the laparoscopic spay was about 30% of what other vets in Northern California charged. I just wish that they would open a hospital in Sacramento, they are truly awesome!
