Modesto Comics

Recently found out about this place, and let me tell you, I'll definitely be a regular here now. Not only do they have a very large selection of comics, but they also have a wall of Funko pops, some even being signed by the characters they are based on. If this wasn't enough, they seem to regularly host sales and events here.

Place is awesome! Friendly staff, great selection of comics and figures - I go there 2 or 3xs a month!

The girl at the front desk I believe her name is Sabrina she was very nice and helpful answered all my questions the shop is well organized and very clean I will be back

This whole in the wall is worth the trip. They have all kinds if comic books. They had a few rare items that any collector might want to have.

For small collectors it will feel like heaven i went in February and got amazing fantasy spider man marvel legend and Bone breaker wave wolverine along with a spider man comic and i love them highly recommend

Great place to pick up a comic!!! They have so much inventory at a varied range of prices, from high dollar rarities to 25 cent bargain issues. They also carry wide array of action figures, pop figures and so much more. Great place to find what your looking for or just browse around.

I love this spot. They have everything a collector is looking for. They have a Huge selection of silver age comics. The biggest in the area. So if your looking for something old school.... they might have it. It's a HOT spot for collectors. So you never know what they will have. They have a very nice selection of modern comics, and Alternate covers. Comic protectors, plastic sleeves and boards. Plus they got FUNKO POPS. I love this store.
It's a must stop for any collector.

The owners are so great! They let our Dungeons and Dragons group play here and are very accomodating! They are also great people to chat with and will eagerly help find an order for you if you want or need an item.

Great comic shop with everything you could want to satisfy your nerdy needs. Had a good conversation with the owner and picked myself up a TPB, as well as a figure. Definitely will come back here as their selection of trades, single issues, and collectibles is pretty staggering.

The people that run the store are super friendly and helpful. They create a great family friendly atmosphere. Joe is a big kid himself, he likes to chase my 4 and 6 year old around his store as they Google their little heads off. This is usually the opposite of how I want my children to behave in a public setting. But Joe is a super nice guy and they will order you anything you want if they don't happen to have it in stock. And if you get a pull list every week they give you a 10% discount with free bag and board for each comic. I'm looking forward to seeing them at their new location in July on McHenry Avenue. Their store name will become Modesto Comics. The grand opening will be on July 3rd and they will be located near p wexford's.

Lots of cool comics and collectables. Brought back nostalgia for me but they do have up to date comic issues and funko pops/collectables. Friendly service. Always have a marvel/DC movie playing.
