El Cafe

If you’re looking for a frappe that tastes more like coffee vs a sugary shake, this is it.
Ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese which was simple yet sweet, creamy and delicious. Needless to say, I’ll be back.

Found this cute cafe heading to SFO, read some good google reviews. It was wonderful. Excellent sandwich’s, fresh, yummy bread and i love the 2 halves wrapped separately! Staff really friendly, great recommendation for coffee cake 😍. Perfect on all fronts, thank you for the great experience!!!

El Cafe has been my go-to favorite cafe in sf for YEARS now! I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet! Not only is their staff all wonderful people, but their food and drinks are to die for! Awesome atmosphere, relaxed and great prices. Literally what more could you want! I love coming here on my days off for their breakfast panini! Been getting it for years and the quality has never wavered. Couldn’t recommend El Cafe more. 🤘

Best espresso cortado in SF! Food was clean and tasty with reasonable price. Don’t forget to grab a fresh squeezed orange juice. The place became our favorite breakfast place.

Exceptional turkey club. My son declared it "the best sandwich he's ever had in his life." Avocado toast was also good on very tasty rustic bread. Reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere. Small, but we were able to find a table inside.

Was craving paninis and salad and found this small cafe. It is located on the corner of taraval and 24th ave. I called in a house salad, turkey club and parkside. Their menu isn't huge, but they cover the important items. The food was ready fairly quickly. The paninis were fresh and hot. I loved the house salad. It was well mixed and tasted really fresh. It was a great place for lunch. Since visiting, I've come back a few times and there's always a handful of people hanging out here. The food is really good and I love how their salad is so fresh and has such a variety of items in it. They also serve breakfast items which seem just as good.

Cute little neighborhood spot for quick breakfast bites. My wife got a gingerbread latte with oat milk and I got iced coffee. Both were good. We also got the peanut butter, banana toast.

Pleasant cafe. Solid food. Place to sit and work with outlets. Had a tuna melt and latte. Plus a delicious banana smoothie. Meter parking has 2 hour limit.

Great paninis! Had the Siena and friend had the Parkside. Tasty!

First time here very polite staff with good team work. The music is good volume and playlist is nice too! Very chill mellow place glad I stop by. Clean too. Ordered Parkside panini.

El cafe is my favorite quick breakfast spot in the city! Prices are affordable compared to other spots in the city, the breakfast panini is 7.75! The employees are always super kind and quick. Love the mural too

Delicious and very affordable breakfast place, lots of options for all taste pallets, including vegetarian. Outdoors tables are a plus! Good coffee and yummy smoothies too.

This place is a gem in the neighborhood. Their coffee is brewed to perfection. My friend, that likes espresso, said that their espresso is very good also. I like that they have ceramic mugs for "for here" drinks; less use of disposables. They have a wide variety of baked goods also. The proprietors are very friendly and courteous.

I've been driving by this place wondering if "El Cafe" meant Mexican food. Sort of. I had a curried chickpea wrap, which was very tasty. Also, tea came in an attractive ceramic mug, which was a good hand warmer. I rated the atmosphere a 5 even though it was quite chilly because I get that we want lots of air (covid). It was a cold, rainy day.

We ordered the Turkey Club sandwich, the Yummy Salami, iced caramel latte and a house coffee. Total was about $30 for two people. Between the two sandwiches, the yummy salami was our favorite because of its unique spicy jalapeño mayo. Photos are unavailable because we chowed it down pretty fast.

There was only two pleasant staff members working, but we only waited maybe 10 minutes or so for our items. There are 14 seats inside and some seats outside as well. We didn't have an issue with getting seats. Wifi was also available.

This is a nice cafe with very reasonable prices, especially with iced coffee which is my go-to. They have some syrups and optional self-serve sweeteners. They have a small selection of sweets, bakery, and bread items. I'm a sweet tooth and I found the amount of syrup that you get didn't do it for me. The coffee was great, however, and on our trip we visited a few times. No seating in doors as of now but there were a few spots outside. The restaurant is clean and the lady that served us was nice.

A cozy cafe in the corner of Taraval and 24th. It's worth trying the Mexican mocha 😋

Mocha energy smoothie, the most delicious think I’ve ever tasted. I’m genuinely obsessed, workers are always sweet and friendly. I love this place so much
