I love this Salon. Nicole is so talented! I always love my hair after she does it. Nicole has been my hairstylist for years!

One of the best salons I have been to! Elaina listened to me and strove to make sure I didn’t leave disappointed or unhappy. She made me feel like I had been a long-time client even though it was my 1st visit. Denise gave the best shampoo/head massage I have ever had! She even made sure I got in my car safely as it was getting dark when I left the salon. One of the greatest salon experiences ever!

I finally found my forever home!! Not sure how much room I have but I could go on forever!! Needed an urgent appointment and reached out to salon via yelp and the owner, Nicole, reached back out within 15 min!! Nicole came in (ON her DAY OFF to help me out!!) as I was traveling for work and had to get rid of those pesky grays!! Chelsea, who is my “hair guru” and the sweetest person EVER, knows her stuff!! She customizes hair and is s magician with style and color and cut. She’s AMAZING- my go to and she knows my hair so well. I’ve gotten my eyebrows micro-bladed as the salon often runs specials, and Lacey is unbelievable at her facial/eyebrow/most recent makeup/and so much more. Dawn is the absolute sweetest helper and gives the most amaaaazzzzing head massages. The entire salon feels like one big family. I will never ever ever EVER go anywhere else!!!!

I have been a client of Nicole's for probably around 20+ years. She always does a great job on my cuts as well as coloring. She has a staff of girls who are all very friendly and knowledgable. It is always a pleasant experience when I go in for any service from the point of hair washing that usually includes an incredible scalp massage to the finished product. I highly recommend this place.

I was a customer of Nicole Carman for almost 4 years and sadly move to another state and now, I do not know how to find somebody that take care of my hair style as she did! If you wonder why, I will just enumerate a few of the great things I had with Nicole: First, She made me feel special every time I had my appointment. Second, she applied to my hair and scalp excellent organic products that kept them nourished and made the color last longer. Third, always heard and translate to, the way I wanted to look and provide me savvy advice.
Four, she made me feel as a friend, not a customer. Five, her colleagues and staff, always made me feel so welcome and gave warm attention every time I was at the salon. Yes, I am in another state and miss her so much!

How fortunate was I when I listened to my trainer when he said, "I always get a great haircut from Nicole...you never get a bad cut!" I followed my gut, gave her a try, and 20 years later I remain loyal!
Interestingly enough, I have changed significant age brackets, ages 40 to 60...but my look, overseen by Nicole, has always enhanced and complimented this natural process. How joyful it is to have someone on your personal maintenance team who is accomplished, intuitive and committed to your best look. At this time, they carefully schedule appointments. The way it is set up there is plenty of healthy separation and mandatory masks. The rooms are all separate and only you your stylist are in the room. I think Nicole does a great job and Denise delights each time with the most relaxing head massage. I feel very safe there. It is a pleasant environment.

I’ve been going to Nicole since I was 15 and followed her to anywhere she ever went. She is truly the best! I am 33 now so it’s been my entire adult life. She is a wonderful stylist and really cares about you as a person. The salon is gorgeous and inviting. This is my favorite salon she’s ever owned. Love you nicole!!

I had my first hair coloring appointment at Nicole Carman's Hair Design yesterday and am eager to share the positive experience. The salon was lovely, the staff warm and friendly...but those things go just so far...there needs to be talent. Elena colored my hair and she was more than amazing. She is an artist! My search for someone to color my hair started about a year ago when, sadly, my hair colorist of 20+ years had a freak accident whereby she could no longer do hair. I am super fussy about my hair (who isn't?), so it was no easy task to find someone new to color my grey roots and highlight my hair. After much research, I identified two salons - Nicole Carman and another salon. I opted to go with the other salon first because I knew someone who had her hair done there and she was happy. I worked with that salon for over a year, but could not achieve the color results I desired. I finally went to Elena at Nicole Carman. My search for my "forever" hair colorist has ended! I arrived at Nicole Carman's with 4 different colored roots, highlights, grey re-growth, and who knows what else was going on with my hair. Elena listened to what I was looking to achieve, provided her insight and recommendations and then got to work. She managed expectations letting me know that we'll be going through a "hair journey" together and that it would take a few visits to achieve the desired results. I'm not sure of everything she did...balayage, new root color, 2 different toners, but in the end the results are amazing. The color blended beautifully, the base color is now a beautiful brown, the highlights are lovely and most importantly, my hair looks healthy. And while I understand we are on a "hair journey" my hair already looks great. I can't wait to see what comes next! Go to Elena if you are looking to color your hair...I guarantee you'll be thrilled.

Chelsea is amazing!! She keeps my hair healthy and beautiful! She does the best blonde balayage I've ever seen! I love her haircuts too. She always knows what's in style! Most of all she makes my hair stay healthy, thick, and strong! Chelsea is very talented.

I love everyone that works at Nicole's shop. It is an inviting, friendly and fun atmosphere. I have tried new things thanks to them (eyebrows, lashes, hair color and style) and I feel beautiful. Highly recommend!

I called Nicole Carman’s salon for a last minute appointment and they fit me in. This was my first hair appointment in 9 months due to my pregnancy and COVID. Elaina was awesome and she gave me the blonde color I was looking for. I highly recommend!!!

A gem in Newtown, Nicole Carman's Hair Design is so much more than just hair. One great thing to note is that you have the choice of a variety of products, including organic lines. Plus, fun events like makeup classes. Extremely friendly staff there simply is no other place in Newtown to go but here!

Chelsea just did my lash extensions and I couldn’t have been more happy with the results! She was so patient and explained every little detail. I will absolutely be back!!
