David and his team were awesome to work with. A few years back, David came out to assess a repair and fixed the issue right on the spot! After our initial meeting, I knew I would chose William Penn Roofing when it came time for a replacement. Scheduling over the winter can present somewhat of a challenge with the weather. David came out to patch over some missing shingles as we were due for weather that would delay replacement. I appreciated his pro-active thoughtfulness and forethought. The office staff was both kind and responsive to any and all of my questions along the way. I chose the Pewter Gray and couldn't be happier with the results. I even opted to also have the gutters replaced. The on-site team did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely recommend David and his team at William Penn Roofing.

My experience with William Penn Roofing exceeded my expectations. The inspection and quote process was thorough and I had a chance to see the materials to make a good selection. All questions were answered patiently by Kim and I felt at ease with his advice and and explanations. The whole project was done in one day in spite of all of the surprise findings. The project manager Dave was excellent with communications as changes were needed and he made sure all the extra help was provided. The crew were efficient and, according to one neighbor, seemed to get along well as a group while they worked. The clean up was impressive-- I have not found one nail on the ground. The room with the skylight replacement was completely cleaned and the tarps folded. The whole process was very professional and I would highly recommend the service of William Penn Roofing for your home.

From first call to service call a wonderful experience. Rebecca in the office was excellent to deal with. She has such a kind personality and is very accommodating. David is the gentleman that came out to fix a second story gutter that pulled away from
the house. He was polite, pleasant, and thorough. He took the time to educate me
on what was wrong and how he planned to fix it. He checked the entire home to make sure nothing else was amiss. He made the repair and the cost of of it was very reasonable. This is a great company from start to finish. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of gutters or gutter repair.

William Penn roofing responded promptly to my request for repairs, and their representative seemed very competent. He quickly assessed the problem and proposed a fix that makes sense. The charges, based on my past experience with roofers, seems quite fair.

Like many homes in my Doylestown development, I urgently needed replacement of my 22 year old roof. There are several good roof service companies in the area. I choose William Penn Roofing. The sales team is thorough with inspecting the home inside and out. They offer several choices of roof and options based on your needs (including how long you plan stay at that home). All choices are of excellent quality. The company frequently communicates with the home owner before, during and after replacement. Their work both with replacement and clean up is excellent. Also, you will never find a harder working or more professional group of people at a work site. I am very pleased with my new roof, and I highly recommend William Penn Roofing.

We scheduled a service call. They came on the day scheduled and the technician was extremely thorough and very friendly. After much time surveying our issue, he showed us what the cause of the dampness in our attic was. It was an HVAC vent that had condensation dripping down onto the plywood floor. We are very grateful for the hard work he put in to find the problem.

We had a small leak in our roof that was leaking into our bedroom. I called several companies, all of which came out and told us we needed a new roof. One of those companies came out and charged me 600 dollars to put a tarp on the roof that blew off in the first storm. A friend recommended that I get another opinion from William Penn Roofing and I’m so glad that I did. The owner of the company, Dave, came out personally and told us we did not need a new roof yet and that he could repair it for a very reasonable price. That night when he came out, he took the time to cover the damaged area up with the tarp the previous company had left with me. A week later he came back and repaired our roof. We have been dry ever since and when the time comes for a new roof, Dave will be getting the call.

I had a partial roof replacement done by William Penn in March 2023. David and his crew were incredibly professional and did a beautiful job. They answered all our questions and went above and beyond to help us with our roof leak. The new partial roof replacement looks great, and David / crew made sure it was perfectly blended with the existing shingles. I would highly recommend they were clean, professional and priced reasonably for the work performed.

I am beyond thrilled with the professional and high quality services provided by David and the team at William Penn Roofing. They replaced my entire roof with GAF shingles ( weathered wood). Throughout the process, David kept me informed and their attention to detail was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised when I requested new shutters at the last minute and they were installed within an hour. William Penn Roofing recently installed a new roof on my home. I compared estimates from five different companies and I was by far most impressed by William Penn Roofing. Not only was their pricing very competitive, but it was easy to tell how much effort David (the owner) puts into his business. He was very conscientious and worked closely with me every step of the way and always made sure to answer my questions and address my concerns. The actual roof installation was as easy as a home construction effort could be. The team worked hard and efficient and were respectful of my home. David was there to manage the job and ensure it was done properly. The end result was great as the new roof looks beautiful. The crew cleaned up properly afterwards and on top of that David came back the next day to make sure everything was clean and done right. It’s easy to tell the difference when a company is run right by somebody who puts their heart and soul into a business and David definitely does that.

Met with Kim are weeks ago after finding out that the "new roof" from the previous owner was in need of replacing. Of course, it was after renovating an entire room, and finding an attic leak.
They set up an appointment, and Kim came totally prepared, and was easy to talk to, was understanding my frustrations, and did a thorough job with his estimate.
Still wanting to compliment Kim, whether or not I used the company, I called and spoke to David directly. I voiced my concern about the final costs, especially because this was not something we had in our planned budget.
I wanted some tweaking, and after narrowing it down to 2, a family friend, who happens to be a roofer in Maryland, did research, compared the estimates, and did a check and comparison. To know that they have a good reputation from other areas is especially helpful.
They were fantastic! They set up a date that was convenient for me, and dropped everything off, as they said, with detailed emails. It was professional and also friendly.
Both Kim and David came with their crew. Replaced the entire roof in charcoal, the shutters in black at my request and the house looks fabulous!
They are a good team, and were available throughout, to answer any questions and address concerns during the process. I always try to use local businesses and this was a win/win!

This company was recommended by a local realtor who has recommended them for several
of her clients . they were exactly as she said - responsive , professional , efficient, fair price and just hassle free . They are the only contractor we have used in the last several years that were easy to deal with . The work crews were amazing , did great work and great cleanup . We highly recommend this company & are more than satisfied with their work.

William Penn Roofing did an amazing job of installing our new roof! We had just moved from out of state, and when asking others for advice on getting a new roof in this area, we were cautioned that several roofing contractors simply wouldn't return your call. Rebecca was quick to respond to our inquiry and answered multiple questions we had before setting up a free estimate. Kim was very knowledgeable and personable and put us at ease throughout the initial estimate and the entire process. Their price was very competitive with another quote we received, and scheduling was a breeze, as we had our new roof installed just 3 weeks after going under contract with William Penn Roofing. What a relief to have a new roof installed quickly before winter! They also had no trouble removing the old skylights, putting down new plywood, and roofing over that area.

The crew was very respectful and stayed quite late to make sure that all of the roofing material was picked up so that we could let our dog outside without worrying about a loose nail injuring him. Additionally, without our noticing it first, Kim told us that they accidentally dented a gutter but would be replacing it free of charge the next day. Small accidents like that happen, and to us, that's the sign of an honest and well-run company to point out a problem and fix it immediately. Our roof now looks great, and Kim and Rebecca were fantastic to work with the entire time! We highly recommend William Penn Roofing!!!

In the 30 yrs. I've owned my home, I've hired many contractors to fix/repair/replace things around the house. Some good contractors, some bad, some ugly. William Penn Roofing was one of the best. Their prices were competitive and the quality of work exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.

I had a wonderful experience with William Penn roofing. From the day I contacted them they have been extremely responsive, helpful and even worked with me through COVID to keep me in the loop with where my permit was. The crew that came out was professional, quick, and very respectful of my property. Clean up was also great. My roof looks fantastic & I couldn't be happier. Definitely a great company to work with. Also had a very competitive and reasonable price!

Dave was amazing and very timely with our roofing needs. He was very responsive and answered all the questions we had. Not to mention the work was well done and our roof has never looked better. I contacted Amy the Office Coordinator who was very professional and I received a prompt appointment with David, owner of William Penn Roofing, within days David not only came to look at the damaged roof shingles but also was able to repair a pipe vent leak right on the spot. David was an expert at the many roof shifting shingles that needed to be replaced.
I would refer William Penn Roofing for any size repair / replacement. Very Personable during the inspection and estimate. I am beyond confident that these repairs were done correctly and that I found the right Roofing Contractor for my roof repairs....Excellent repairs at a very fair price.

After looking at tons of reviews online, we obtained six estimates from various companies. All were very pleasant and gave estimates which were mostly in the same price except for one which was double! But Tim from Wm PENN Roofing was the only one that actually went into our very hot attic to do a full inspection and found a cracked joist. And he was the only one that went out of his way to get larger roof samples when we asked. It was a long one day of installation and thorough cleanup all around including nails. Todd and his crew were a swarm of busy bees…they were all amazing. Had one skylight replaced no problem and Mark did an outstanding job finishing and painting the inside. What a great experience it was to work with Kim and Dave and the whole gang at William Penn. The quality of work, the timelessness of installation and the efficient clean up of the site was incredible. What really impressed me was when I saw Kim, our salesman and Dave the owner, unpack, assemble and clean our four skylights before the roofers installed them, well that's the kind of attention William Penn gave us and will surely do for you. In a day where it seems people don't want to work, let me tell you the William Penn group are not afraid to get there hands dirty.

We just got a full replacement roof in June and were extremely satisfied with the service and the final product. The William Penn Roofing team was very attentive during the clean up and got the entire project done in one day. David is very detailed oriented and always made sure our questions were answered. I would highly recommend this company!
