The food was delicious. The ambiance was quaint and comfortable. A bit pricey even with a deal from Living Social but overall a lovely restaurant. The service was good too, I especially liked the dessert presentation; the waitress brought several options on a plate for us to choose from she was really nice and pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant 100%!!

Ordered an appitizer listed as jumbo sea scallops in Crab sauce for $13.99 you get 4 tiny scallops. At the same time I should have asked how many you get in an order so that's my mistake.

Wasn't sure when we walked in and we missed the BYOB memo but the food was amazing! Service was great too! Highly recommend the eggplant lasagna or even regular lasagna. 16 ounces! You Will not leave hungry.

We have been visiting this restaurant and its sister, Francisco's on the River, for many years. Reliably very good. Personal favorite: Francisco's unique eggplant parmesan. Soups and specials are inventive and well-prepared, but the regular menu items are a big cut above the average neighborhood Italian as well.

Quaint, intimate setting in Newtown. Service was attentive. I had one of the specials, filet mignon w/mushrooms over pappardelle, which was excellent. Will definitely return to sample some of the more traditional Italian fare.

This was our first visit. The mussels in red sauce were delicious as was my entree veal and shrimp in white wine sauce. Service was great

Excellent food, would go again. Prices are high for food quantities, but the quality is fantastic. Check out their menu online and bring your wine appropriately. Again, amazing taste!

Quality quality quality. Great appetizers, superb entree selection. Save room for the desserts, the coconut cake is to die for, try it with the pistachio gelato. This is a very cozy place and it's a BYOB.

Reliable excellent Italian specialties, don’t miss the fish entrees. Friendly warming atmosphere with good service and a charming chef. Byob, and we like that feature, also.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants around. By far the best Lobster Ravioli I've ever had. The squid ink pasta really brings it home.

Best Eggplant Parmesan ever! Countless, ultra-thin layers of lightly breaded eggplant, perfectly seasoned, topped with delicious tomato gravy. Other wonderful menu options as well.

Good food, good service. Menu is often updated with new items. Some pasta dishes are on the salty side. Ask for the price before ordering from the dessert board :)

Loved this restaurant. Our friends took us for our Anniversary and my birthday. The Bobs plate n Filet dish were out of this world.

Small cozy Rustic Fine Italian Cuisine. Fresh produce, seafood, and meats arrive daily. Just about everything on the menu is made on premise. Chef Is absolutely talented at his craft and also willing to prepare a specific dish soon request. Also a B.Y.O.B which is a A+++ in my book. Weekly and daily menu additions and prices are very reasonable considering being located in the heart of Newtown. Florentinos is a MUST TRY.

The best local Italian in the Newtown area. Don't miss the eggplant parm. It's the best ever! Servers are all great and they really care about their patrons.
