It's really great food, and worth going. My only issue is that you need to order at the counter and then get lucky enough to find a seat. If you go by yourself, you're not going to have luck, because while you're standing in line everyone else will have snatched up a table. Go with a group or go super early. The cinnamon roll is fabulous, though rich. All the scones are the side of your head, and look divine. I got the berry waffle, which was perfection. Highly recommend going. Just have a backup plan, because of the seating issues.

This place is a really cool gem in downtown Boise! The vibes are homey, they have lots of good menu options for dine in eating as well as a bakery case filled with goodies. They also feature small gifts and trinkets for sale and they were all really cool!

I grabbed a bakery treat and a caramel mocha to start out with, my friend ordered their matcha and we both liked our drinks pretty well! Then we had breakfast and ordered the loaded potatoes (we added feta and Avacado and some corn tortillas on the side - highly recommend!) and it was a huge portion! We shared with leftovers to spare!

It’s set up as communal dining, with nice seating and tables and real dishes! We loved it and will absolutely return!

The portions are huge! Food is great. Glad we arrived early because this place is a hit and fills up fast. I’d recommend a half order of biscuits and gravy I’m not a petite fella and I couldn’t finish the whole order.

Soooooooooo delicious! 10/10 we will definitely be back again. The biscuits and gravy is HUGE so bring your appetite, we didn't order the burrito but they are bigger around than my arm! You come in and wait in line to order, grab a menu up towards the register on a pole so you can look over the menu. Seating is first come first served so try to grab a seat when they are available. Also the baked goods are all amazing!!!

Lovely, spacious breakfast spot with huge, delicious portions. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a bagel that was just the right size and a giant raspberry scone to go. If I’m ever swinging through again, I’ll definitely return.

First time in Boise, and let me tell you, this small joint doesn’t disappoint! I had their sausage quiche, with side of potatoes. The food was excellent! And so was the coffee! The potatoes - well now, they ruined me from any other potatoes, ever! These were the best! And just spiced. I didn’t even need a ketchup or anything for them! What a delicious meal.

Went here for the first time the other day and it was a very fun visit. The atmosphere is eclectic and exiting. The food was delicious. We shared the Gobbler sandwich and a peach pie scone. It was so delicious. That scone is dangerous! My only downfall of this place is that I couldn’t find any high chairs for the kiddos, but if that’s my only downfall, then I’d say this place was pretty great!

One of my go to brunch places in Boise. Great food options, decent outdoor seating and very friendly staff. It’s first come first serve here so wait times maybe long in summer. Here’s what we ordered and how we felt:
Nutty buddy - 5/5
Banana split - 5/5
Avocado toast - 4/5
Veggie sandwich - 4/5
Waffles with berries and whip - 5/5

I had never been here before. So, I asked one of the customers what his favorite was there, when I was waiting in line, and he said, "Everything"😁
I then ordered the biscuits with gravy. Wow! I heard about how giant the biscuits were, but seeing is believing. They even had bacon bits in the middle. Great atmosphere. I also walked away with a mouthwatering lemon bar. Handicap ♿ accessibility. I took pictures of the menu and monthly special.
Update: I had to go back and show you how big our portion sized meal was for a great price.

Easily the best breakfast restaurant in Boise! (If you’re in Meridian, check out Terri’s Cafe.)

Big City gives enormous serving sizes, so consider splitting a meal between two people, or two meals between three people.

All the food is delicious and fresh, and the menu is fun and creative. This is one of my top 5 restaurants in Boise, and I really hope you take a morning to experience it.

Rosie’s Biscuits & Gravy - homemade biscuits and country gravy topped with bacon and made with lots of love (menu description) 🍳 🥓🧀🍓🍊☕🍽

The BBC - toasted everything bagel stacked with egg, bacon and cheese served with fresh fruit on the side 🥯🍳 🥓🧀🍊☕🍽

The sandwich was delicious, how they made the eggs so firm yet moist impressed me. The bagel was very well seasoned and toasted just right. With a side of their famous coffee, this was an excellent breakfast. And it came out super quick! The sandwich was so huge (for only $7) I had to take the other half home. They also have a deluxe version with ham and you can add cream cheese!

⠀⠀⠀⠀
First thing I noticed when I walked into the restaurant was how popular it was. That, and the fact I heard a lot about the place, told me I wouldn’t regret coming here for late breakfast Saturday morning. First of all the biscuit was HUGE. It was stuffed with so much bacon chunks, and the gravy was perfectly creamy and delicious. I would suggest ordering an extra side of gravy because of how big the biscuit is. Amazingly, it saved well too. I couldn’t even finish the HALF ORDER I got. I would definitely go back just for this dish again!

Stopped in for lunch with a large group of work buddies. I had been here before and ordered breakfast that was very delicious. Coffe was good too! I decided to order the turkey gobbler sandwich this time. Wow! It was scrumptious and the portions were huge. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their meal as well. I took photographs of several of the items of food my group ordered that I will attach to this review. A+ for plating! All the food looked beautiful and was served on cool dishes. Love the atmosphere of this little place. They were packed with customers and they still got our food out in a timely matter. We will definitely be back! Great spot to hit in Boise!

Loved the potatoes. The seasoning was perfect. I got the loaded potatoes, it was enough for two meals. I also hope the bacon cheese scone which again was great and I don't usually like scones. Very busy place but food came out pretty quick. Will definitely be back.

This, 1st pic,(+ a monster Corn Bread) is what $11 breakfast looks like in Big City Coffee, Linen District Boise, Idaho.
Basically for 2 people. I miss a lot of “things Miami”, but not the overpriced- Instagram Avocado toast that leaves everyone hungry. Very mom n pops here, highly recommend. I will say you may not need the cornbread or the toasts if you’re eating solo; I only say that because I don’t like wasting food. Ps- to the management, if you’re reading, this beautiful place doesn’t pop up on google when you type in “breakfast” only when you type “coffee” 🧐😉

Lively neighborhood hangout.
I was surprised to see BCC so busy on a Monday afternoon. There was a line at the register, and every table was taken.
The other surprise was the expanded pastry selection: scones in variety, even unusual ones like coconut cream pie scone! And fresh baked, which you really have to have.
See the pictures for an impression of the original design; it is a lot of fun to take a closer look at all the signs, posters, and paraphernalia that are everywhere.
I came back, again to a great selection of scones 😋. Bear claw almond scone, anyone - see pics. Busy again, friendly people as usual, few empty tables.
Come back!

Oh my heavens! The baked goods here are sinful! I got a coconut cream scone and a 7 layer bar. These things are huge!! Very friendly staff and cute little spot. I drove from accross town to check them out. I like trying local coffee shops vs the chains. This one is a winner!

Arrived at 9:40 on Saturday morning and it was very packed. The food took about 30 minutes to make but it was worth the wait. Lots of cream cheese on the bagel sandwich and their cookies are big and tasty! The servers were very nice, no napkins on the table and you have to go back in the long line to get drink refills.. the bathroom line was also long since they only have 1 bathroom for men and 1 for ladies.

Great place. Highly recommend this anything-but-big-city-feeling-place with their warm and welcoming staff and fun atmosphere - roll up garage door front and excellent music... oh, and the food is delicious.

Try one of the extremely large baked goods, smooth espresso beverages, ginormous burritos, tasty granola and fruit bowls, and/or excellent egg dishes. All are thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying.
