Toyin was a complete pleasure to eat in. The staff is very friendly and ready to introduce you to authentic Nigerian cuisine. Everyone in the restaurant was Nigerian and they said this was their favorite place to go. The prices were very reasonable and you get a large helping of food. I'm not entirely sure what I ate because a nice Nigerian gentleman behind ordered for me, but it was a spicy spinach and melon seed stew with flavors I can't really compare to anything else. The fufu that you eat with it was to die for. The tilapia was also delicious. However, be aware that it is not deboned if you order it if you don't eat much fish. I can't wait to try more Nigerian food! I recommend that everyone should come and try Toyin- Nigerian Cuisine.

My son and I wanted to try something new. The service was excellent..the young man at the front went above and beyond on his service. He insisted that I sample the food before buying and he gave large us large samples to taste...food was great and we will definitely give back..

I had Egusi stew with tripe and fufu. It was The Best I Ever had! DELICIOUS. The guy was a typical guy at the counter serving food but the African lady was very helpful and sweet. I will be back.

The food was amazing. The amala was so soft felt. I was really in a Nigerian restaurant in Nigeria. Loved the wall as it allows you pin point what part of Nigeria you are from

The gentleman that took my order was patient and very kind….because I had no idea what I wanted was called! Anyways, their okra soup and fufu was delicious. Plenty of flavor and spice.

By reading. The review .. Nobody. Will want to go there .. But. My stubborn self. Decided to go and. Give it a try .... I am not nigerian. And don't look african ... Yes the owner. Is. Doesnt smile a lot ...but. Are we here to eat or to look at somebody. Face ? To me. The food. Is more tasteful than other place. That I wont name ( I have been to a lot of them ) ...
Her egusi soup and efu riro( excuse my spelling) is the best. I will recommend. Those for starter ( if you want to try both. .. You can ask them to serve 1/2. A egusi and 1/2 efu riro they won't mind doing it) that how I always order my food because I can never make up my mind ( you have the option of meat. Like. Goat .. Beef. Tripe * inside of the beef. Similar to chittling * or just. Boiled egg * boiled . peeled and. Cooked inside the. Spicy tomato. Stew*
And a choice of. Either. Gari .. Pound of yam* my favorite* and more ..

GO AHEAD AND GIVE IT A TRY.
I wouldn't. Went back 3 times if. That woman was rude. As the review said

The food is so delicious. The egusi soup, the beans and plantain, the jollof rice, the efo riro, the stew, the puff puff everything is delicious. Definitely should give it a try.

I’ve been looking for a long time for a good African restaurant, found one called Ayo but they moved too far to deliver, so I came to this place. Food is GREAT, proportions are proper and the price is unbeatable. I thanked God for the blessing of this place, now me and my fam can buy okra soap whenever we want. Love y’all ❤

Omg! the experience will linger forever. The taste of Nigeria-Africa...ooh I love the food, the beer-Heineken and the environment, neat and cozy. A place for all and sundry.

Food = delicious
Service = excellent
Atmosphere = decent
What more can you ask of from a restaurant. And by the way the egusi is finger licking good.

We have gone here twice, once 8 years ago, and once this week. The food is amazing and authentically Nigerian. If you want a real taste of Africa, this is your spot!

Back to ATL and I love the way this spot is revamped. Amazing spot to get your naija food craving satisfied. Portioned or catered, Toyin restaurant got you covered. Their services top notch. Will definitely recommend. Don't forget to download their app. You won't be sorry.

Very tasty. 😋 The lady was nice. My 1st time there and won't be my last. I got the "American favorite" egusi soup with pounded yam. Sooo good and flavorful.

UPDATING MY REVIEW: My first review I gave this restaurant 1 star because of the husbands lack of communication and poor customer service. HOWEVER!!! TOYIN!!! Now that lady has got personality!!! She is absolutely charming helpful and full of life. I didn't even know who she was exactly when I went in there. My review is now 5 stars because of how helpful she was to me at another place of business and when i went to her restaurant she talked with me and even explained why they didnt have what i wanted and offered me something else. TOYIN STOP HIDING IN THE BACK. PPL WANT TO SEE YOU. WITH YOUR PERSONALITY AND LOVE OF LIFE CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE LINED UP.

Miss Toyin's jollof rice rises to the level of an existential encounter. All her offerings are great but the J.R. is a phenomenon. You have to eat it, to get it. I favor seafood so it's the fish for me. The portions are man-sized, so plan accordingly.

The owner is very disrespectful and rude. The customer service is trash. The owner acts as if she’s better than everybody because she has the only convenient west African restaurant in metro Atlanta. Everything that is on the menu isn’t always available. The employees are very rude and inconsistent to the core. Changes are needed frfr. The owner only acknowledges the people she’s recognizes and knows. The quality in the food is going downhill from when it first opened. Changes need to be done!!! she couldn't even greet some customers with respect.

Nice experience of a different culture. Staff helpful, the place clean and interactive. I loved the mural/map of the country and your ability to write a comment or sign your name on it!
