Rooms are ok and service is so-so but the best part is Black Jax bar and restaurant! The bartenders are awesome!

I enjoy staying at this location because of the breakfast and blackjacks bar and grill on site that is a plus. Front desk is always great. Now they rw remodeling there rooms I had booked a smoking room. I'm quite confused on the fact if this room was still being remodeled because it wasn't really nice it k look like it was just shaped together so they can get it back on the market for rent. But then I thought we'll this is a smoking room so this could be why I don't know how non smoking rooms look but again why I stay here I'd mostly for the service and for breakfast and blackjacks

Im very happy with this hotel! I was over charged and they lowered my price without me asking! Breakfast was really good! Rooms a little old but very, very clean - sheets and bedding updated. They did a great job with an older hotel! Also one of the few places in Erie with an outdoor pool. Was heated - walked right in the pool in September and was not cold! It was a cold summer too! Great job heating the pool!

The lobby is very comfortable with a warm fireplace and complimentary coffee.

The bar and grill is great. The food (mushroom pizza "the Penn state") was delicious. The service excellent.

The room was clean and everything worked. The TV was dated but functional. Some rooms are near highway and so, noisier. Mine was fine.

Outdoor appearance could use some love particularly the stairwells and door frames.

Good value overall.

I have yet given any of the hotels we've stayed at in the past 2 1/2 years of transporting for work a 5 star. But, this hotel has gone beyond and above the duty of just being a business to being compassionate to me and my husband. We were in an accident, they waited for me when I got in at 3a.m. in the morning and offered any assistance I needed, and after a long day at the hospital visiting my husband, dealing with insurance companies, rental cars, etc.... I get back to my room, Sarah and staff have these beautiful flowers and card for us waiting in my freshly clean room. Awesome care and we will always stay here when we come to Erie again.

We stayed over the holidays and had an amazing experience. The lobby was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were clean and when we asked about getting a room with a refrigerator, one was brought immediately.

Very clean. We needed a room that let's dogs stay. The desk clerk was very professional. Has dish TV. Has a coffee maker inside the room. It also has a pool there but if you're getting there like we did late at night you can not use it.

Where do I begin? This place is affordable and high quality and high value. We were originally staying at the Sheraton but were made to feel so out of place there that we decided to switch hotels. We made a great decision. We literally took a car directly from the Erie Bayfront Sheraton to here after we received subpar service and discrimination there. This hotel is leaps and bounds beyond the Sheraton in terms of customer service and quality. Our hotel room at the Sheraton didn’t even have a microwave and didn’t offer smoking rooms for vapers so my friend had to vape off the premises at the Sheraton. At Quality Inn, they offer smoking rooms and have a microwave in every room along with a fridge to store perishable food items. The great thing is that you don’t even need to use it though because they have an award winning menu at their restaurant Black Jax. Their wings are consistently top rated and their drinks are inexpensive and strong so if you just want to relax at the bar and watch TV and listen to good music, you can. The other wonderful thing they have at this hotel is a full hot breakfast buffet from 6:30-10am. This isn’t just a standard continental breakfast, this is a full hot breakfast buffet that is constantly refilled and is fully stocked with bread, breakfast desserts, muffins, biscuits, cereal, oatmeal, juices, milk, yogurt, waffles, eggs, potatoes, and country gravy sometimes and I heard they have sausage there too. Another great thing is that they are close to the expressway and are close to the casino if you like that. There is even a shuttle from the hotel to the casino. Right in front of the hotel is a mini travel center with even more to provide 24 hours a day so even if you want something late night, you’re within walking distance from a Tim Horton’s and a mini mart. There is also an outdoor pool that is open during the warmer seasons. There is plenty of parking in the hotel parking lot regardless of how busy the hotel is as well. One thing that really stands out to me and that I wanted to save for the last part of my review because this is why it is better than your four and five star hotels is the attention to customer service and the staff. In my current trip, I met one of the most wonderful, personable and professional managers in my hotel experience ever. Her name is Jan and she is welcoming, engaging, a great conversationalist and makes you feel like a part of the Quality Inn family. She was in the breakfast hall in the morning greeting all of the patrons and staff and talking to us and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know all of us despite also being one of the busiest staff members in the hotel. She made this entire stay worth the money alone. During the trip, I also found out that the general manager, Matt, and herself fill in when needed for any job needed to keep the hotel running smoothly. In fact, while I was there, I personally witnessed the general manager working the breakfast buffet and cleaning tables and working hard to refill the food as needed. Inside the hotel, there is also multiple conference rooms for business meetings, corporate events, wedding receptions and parties. Bottom line is that if you want a hotel that’s conveniently located and has pretty much all the amenities and benefits of a 4 star hotel without the 4 star attitude, then the Quality Inn is by far the best hotel you could ever stay in and this was written by someone who literally just stayed in the Sheraton, supposedly Erie’s highest rated hotel by far, but it didn’t impress me much, this hotel impressed me in every facet I could think of.

Great breakfast free to guests. My wife and I are accustomed to dry, lack luster continental. They have eggs and sausage plus all the normal carbs we're used to seeing. Great little bar/restaurant on site too.

Was here for a family reunion and it was a very ideal location. The property is showing it's age, but everything was clean, the free breakfast was good, and everyone with whom I interacted on the staff very friendly.
