The food was so delicious and my family had a great time here! I would recommend it to anyone. I will say though I was not a huge fan of the potato salad; it was dry.

Amazing food and great ambience. Best views in town make the dining experience awesome. We tried the Great Lakes pieces of Eight and Shellfish Carbonara, both were exceptionally good. Definitely recommend.

Went here today, which is obviously in the off-season, and everything was still great. Seems like it would a very good time to stay on the bay front and hop from bar to bar and restaurant to restaurant. That said, the battered perch was the best fish I have ever had, and I am not a fish fan. Also tried the catch of the day, which was arctic char. Wasn't my favorite but the salmon fans in the party said it was perfect. I would also recommend the mushrooms as a side. Great view, great location, and even a fire in the fire place for the cold weather. Would definitely recommend. Follow for more...

Bartender was super nice. Fast service and AMAZING food! The she crab soup was just out of this world. Steak was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back!

This is my favorite restaurant when I'm in the Erie area. Service is always great and so is the food.

On our way home we stopped at the Smuggler’s Wharf for lunch in Erie, PA. Nestled by East Dobbins Landing along Lake Erie, Smuggler’s Wharf restaurant makes for a special eating experience. Plus, the plant covered roof is like picnicking in a magical garden. The jungle-like restaurant is such a neat place with really good food.

After lunch, we walked along the pier next to the restaurant to check out the ducks. Most of the leftovers we had intended on taking home with us became food for the ducks. And based upon the duck’s behavior, I don’t think we were the first to feed these ducks.

Artichoke dip is awesome. Split a prime rib sandwich with my wife and I has a cup of she crab soup. Sandwich was good, soup was really spicy. Good but too spicy for me. Won't get again. Server we have had before. Very attentive, thorough and friendly. Only 5 tables of patrons at 1:30. It was nice

So good!!!! Like "I can die now" so good. There is a wait on Friday and Saturday that is very worth it. You won't be disappointed. The food is dynamite and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Such a cozy place! Stopped in for dinner on Saturday right at five and got a table near the fireplace right away. View of the water is incredible. I had the Lobster Roll and a side order of Old Bay Potatoes, both delicious! Hubby had a seafood pasta dish that he loved. Highly recommend and I know we’ll go back next time we’re in town.

Server was amazing, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Portions were well more than enough for one person. Perch dinner was great. Went in cold month but looks like would be amazing place in summer with eating outside and views. With that said inside was very cozy in the cold with a fire place going. Very worth a visit. Lots to do and see in area.

The absolute BEST seafood restaurant in Erie!! The halibut, cooked perfectly, the peanut butter pie, to die for, the wine crisp and light, with wonderful service and a comfortable atmosphere. It's one of my favorites now.

We were in town visiting some friends who suggested smugglers wharf. Admittedly I thought it would be kitschy due to the name, but I was proven wrong. Eat outside if you can, the atmosphere on the deck is amazing. The food is really good, they use fresh ingredients. My lobster roll was packed with lobster and not with junk filler. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Parking wasn't difficult either. The only downside to this place is the laughably small bathrooms.

Excellent food! Reservations highly recommended.

Loved the potato salad and garlic sauteed portabella mushrooms as sides. Fish of the day excellent as was the perch! We'll definitely be back.

Delicious dinner of yellow pike, others had great steaks. Service was very efficient & professional. When the restaurant is full, it's very loud.

College visit with my daughter. Need a hearty lunch for our 6hour drive home. Chef Scott Kramer made us an awesome meal. Highly recommend the She Crab soup, Langostino-crab cake ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Portions were generous. Maggie our waitress was patient when we couldn’t quickly decide our selections.

Located close to waterfront. Lovely shaded patio with trailing vines and other greenery. Crab Cake sandwich and perch sandwich delicious. Served with homemade dill potato salad. Ample parking. Disappointed, however, that the dining hrs on their website did not jive with the actual opening hrs. Please update website.

It was a Thursday afternoon luncheon in April with friends, 4 of us dined and all of us were pleased with service and food. I started with the coconut shrimp appetizer, followed by prime rib, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was delicious! So happy to find good prime rib! The hostess was friendly, our sever was friendly. The food arrived quickly. The location and the interior are lovely. Definitely will be returning.
