Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront

This place was amazing! It had a gorgeous view of the water & a great place to watch the sunset. The bar and restaurant food was by far some of the best hotel food I’ve had! We ate there 3 times. They also have a great breakfast bar and Starbucks coffee. The rooms were spotless & beds were comfortable. Every staff member was a pleasure to speak with & seemed so happy to help. Absolutely recommend!

This has to be one of the finest Marriott Hotels I’ve ever been too. This place is like a hidden gem! 💎 Their room, to customer service, to the atmosphere, it makes you feel like you are welcomed and loved! All the staff are sharp, kind, and solution oriented! Special shout out to Grace for making the first impression unforgettable with customer experience and shout out to Amanda for guidance around the city. I just Love this place and would recommend it to anyone! ☺🎉✨❤✨

Over all we were very satisfied with our stay. The customer service was excellent. We had a slight issue with our original room and Grace at the front desk was very apologetic and understanding of the matter and upgraded us to a larger room with a waterfront view at no cost to us. Owen and Giselle were awesome and super friendly at the hotel restaurant Shoreline Bar & Grill. We will definitely recommend the Courtyard and will be back.

If I could 6 stars I would. Return stay to perfect weekend getaway. Welcomed by Chase for check in. He was amazing. Hospitality at a 10. Our room was beautiful and clean. May was our check out girl amazing as well. Housekeepers keep rooms amazing. In house restaurant was wonderful food and service 10. Thank you for a relaxing weekend get away.🌹🤗

This was my first time to Erie, PA. I have a friend that lives there and we went for an overnight girls' getaway. I didn't know what to expect but I will say Erie, PA is a hidden gem! We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot and it exceeded my expectations. I had no idea it would be right on the water; our view was amazing! I highly recommend staying on the lake side of the hotel if you have the opportunity, you won't be disappointed. It was cold when we went but it didn't matter. We hung out in our room which was nice, clean, cozy & comfortable. Then walked to the restaurant across the way which is also on the lake than went to Room 33, a speak easy on State Street about 10 minutes away. State Street/surrounding area looked pretty cool with a bunch of restaurants/bars. To top the trip off, we went down to the lobby the next morning for breakfast. The staff (including the front desk) was super friendly and helpful, especially to those who have allergies. Get the Bacon! May be the best I ever had. I will definitely be back to check out more when I have the time, especially when the weather is nicer out!

This is my second visit to this hotel, and I am yet again blown away! As soon as we stepped into the door, we were politely greeted by the front desk staff. There is an upbeat vibe in the lobby with guests of all ages enjoying their time together. We stayed in a sunset suite on this trip, and we were beyond impressed. The room was not only immaculately clean, but the view was breathtaking. We visited on a cloudy January day, but that did not matter. Looking out onto the water of Lake Erie through the large windows immediately made me feel calm and relaxed, just what I needed. There were a couple different kinds of pillows on the bed, which allowed for us to pick the perfect sleeping softness for us. The wet bar was a bonus and was very spacious. We only had the time this trip to eat breakfast at the hotel and it was DELICIOUS. We ordered the 2-egg entree with bacon and potatoes, the egg sandwich, and the quinoa and rice breakfast bowl. All were delicious and filling. The BACON WAS AMAZING! We encountered about seven "morning" employees during breakfast, and they all were very kind and helpful. The lady who took our order was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very eager to help us find gluten free options. Check out was a breeze! This is now one of my favorite hotels of all time and we can't wait to come back.

Had a great staycation with some amazing girlfriends. A good friend highly recommended us to stay here. I'm so glad that we did! The location directly on the water was exactly what we needed. The food was great and everything was top notch...from the excellent staff and service to the cleanliness (inside and out) and amenities. Thank you for the hospitality. See you again soon! Excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. Chase at the front desk was terrific. He even gave us a voucher for the restaurant when he learned it was my wife's birthday. Very kind. We picked this hotel because it is dog friendly and it certainly was. Everyone was very welcoming of our dog, especially Giselle, our server at dinner. She was very kind to our pup. We will be back for sure.

Very nice hotel. Our room was very excellent with awesome view of the lake from our room. Loved the indoor pool, hot tub and the infinity pool. Property is very well maintained and its lakefront location and view is perfect from room, pools, restaurants and patio. Special thanks to Patricia for our reservation and check in which was simple and efficient. Excellent Customer Service.

Cannot say enough great things about my stay at this hotel. I have stayed several times before and have always appreciated the clean, luxurious feel of the rooms, and beautiful view, not to mention the relaxing pool and hot tub. This past stay though fully confirmed that this hotel is by far my favorite in the area, and I will never miss an opportunity to stay here. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and fun. Amanda M. was able to check us in and give us all the details about available amenities. They even had a fun “fall bingo” game that we were able to play during our stay and the prize was so generous. I will never choose another hotel over this one!

Had a wonderful time staying here for a conference. The service was impeccable! Everyone I interacted with at the front desk and hotel bar were very pleasant. Did't get a chance to check out the pool, but I did walk by it and it looked real nice. Location is beautiful and the rooms was very comfortable. My only complaint was that the room smelled a little like stale smoke and I couldn't get the smell to dissipate even with the window to the courtyard open.

Hotel was excellent! Great views, clean, and the food at the restaurant was outstanding! We stayed in February. Can’t imagine how great it is with warmer weather!

Service was excellent, food at the restaurant was fabulous, amenities were great! The only thing I noticed that I couldn't wrap my head around was the installation of the toilet paper roll and shower faucet handle was crooked. Just seemed weird in such a high scale, clean, well maintained hotel.

This hotel, venue, site, management, staff, and local restaurants are as good as it gets! I’ve spent way more money for a fraction of the satisfaction. Easy 5 of 5 stars.

This is the hotel to stay in while in Erie! The service, cleanliness, the food, coffee are outmost understanding. I stay here consistently for months while working and while on short trips. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel with an even more beautiful view… I loved my stay here. Super props to Chase at checkin who was funny and hooked me up with the great view. It’s a super easy drive from here to do the Presque Isle loop. I also highly recommend Catfish Kitchen for some great local fish if you don’t want to eat at the local restaurants. Not that you have to leave this complex. Food was amazing at the Convention Center and menu looked good at the other on site restaurants. Can’t wait to come back in a few months.

I stayed at the hotel the beginning of this year...my co-worker and I was greeted by the front desk associate as soon as we walked in the hotel...I am a Titanium member she recognized that and upgraded my room..she was very accommodating and kind...you don't typically find that in hotels nowadays...Her name is Grace Ruby.. We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a lovely time. It's at a convention center and is set up for business travelers, so there isn't complementary breakfast, but there are numerous restaurant options.

We traveled with our kids and loved our view, our room, the shower, the restaurant with the patio, and the pools. The infinity pool is so beautiful but a little on the chilly side! We spent a few minutes there, soaking in the view, but then went upstairs to the indoor pool.

Only came here for the resturant so I didn't get to see the rooms; however, the hotel is in an amazing location with a great view of the bay. The staff is super friendly and the hotel was super clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!
