Motel 6 Erie, PA

Choose this Motel 6 now and you will not be disappointed. Impressed for a budget motel. Clean, quiet, no bugs. Nice smelling soft towels and linens. Comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious accommodating room. Ran fan for air circulation. Excellent heat. Used my phone for alarm clock, had my own toiletries, used ice bucket in room to keep things cold. 24/7 access to huge ice machine and microwave in spacious coffee and tea Lounge, nice tea selection. Lounge has several drink and snack vending machines, large selection reasonable prices. Also vends Motel size toiletries! Every employee was respectful, friendly, pleasant and helpful. My apartment wasn't ready as promised, stayed here for five nights!

This motel 6 is one of the best ones my family had been to in our travels. The room is welcoming, clean, and quiet. Everyone slept soundly the first time since we started traveling, even our dog. I am currently handicap and the carpet in the room prevents me from slipping when using my crutches. There is more to say. Overall, hospitality is great, and the staff helped make this stay amazing.

Addition: One of the staff members helped remove snow off my vehicle due to my condition.

I was very pleased with my stay at this Motel 6. The room was large and clean. They let me check out late. I had interactions with 3 staff members in my overnight stay, and they were all very pleasant and helpful.

This was the perfect place for us to stop on our way from Boston to Chicago. Very clean, very comfortable. Quiet and safe. Staff was very friendly. Our dog loved it as well!

Best motel 6 we have ever been to! Amazing water pressure and temperature. Friendly staff, and they placed travelers in every other room since the hotel was not fully booked.

For the price, this was a great motel that I would stay in again. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the location was great.

There was no shampoo in the rooms but that’s not too big of an issue for me. The TV remote was a bit tough to work. Those are the only complaints I could have. The beds were so comfy I had some of the best sleeps of my life here.

It’s a less-than 10 min drive from great shopping locations (Mill Creek Mall, Target, etc.) and a 30-second walk to McDonald’s. I can’t speak much on breakfast or other amenities but I did feel safe here.

Definitely would come again!

Stayed here multiple times & it's a very clean & nice room for an affordable price. Love the air conditioning. Carly at the front desk is our favorite - really friendly, nice, & funny.

First things first… we’re only here for a couple hours. My review is solely based on my first impression of the room. And the customer service.

The room was ok. Nothing elaborate. We kind of stayed in room 224. Walked in the one light was out and the room had a definite musty smell. Stagnant air. Opened a window turned on the ac unit seemed to solve that. No bar fridge which I was shocked by. No chairs or anything to sit out front. A basic room for the basic price.

Now the customer service. We received… from Michelle was great at the beginning. So nice and helpful only escalated to amazing.

Long story short, came down to Erie for a little getaway from Canada. Doing our first drive around the town and a call came in saying our new rescue dog had run out from our dog sitters place. So panic set in. We were 2 1/2 hrs away. Trying to organize the search etc… after a bit we decided we had to head home. Arrived at 7pm… gone by 11pm. Told Michelle the predicament, she was so friendly and helpful. Politely informed us that the couldn’t refund the one night but definitely can the other. Which was perfectly understandable. And she was so nice. Thank you Michelle.

4am… we found Maxwell. Safe. Hope to actually stay next time. Cheers,

5 stars based on cleanliness, price and location. Good TV and wifi. If just looking for a place to sleep and move on. Can't ask for much more.

Really nice room. Huge bed! Clean room. There was kind of a stale musty smell in the room, however, I contribute that to the humidity and being closed up. The a/c worked really well and the smell disapated quickly. The only issue I had was the step into the room is very high and it's hard to see it in the dark. One suggestion I would make is to add parking lot lighting.

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Good price. Easy access to Highway 90, just don't turn left out the entrance, lol, is one way!

I was surprised how clean everything was, even with it being a fully booked holiday weekend. Definitely one of the cleanest places I've stayed at. So nice to find a pet friendly place to stay! It was our first time ever staying at a motel and it was quiet, clean, and easy.

My boyfriend and I were looking to get away for a couple of days to celebrate our anniversary but not break the bank because we are moving and have a lot of expenses. I checked Expedia and saw that this hotel was rated quite high but the room was barely $65…. I thought I’d give it a shot.

This motel is by far cleaner than any of the fanciest hotels I’ve stayed in. It was immaculate when we walked in and I regret not taking pictures.

In addition to the room and lobby being clean, the place is quiet, the grounds are also kept up on and there is no visible trash or debris anywhere. It is also conveniently located by the main road and there are plenty of options to eat!

10/10 would stay again

I spent one night, service was good, the room was clean and near a few restaurants and gas stations.

For a 6. This place is rated high on the list of Motel 6's. It was very clean and the grounds were neat. The staff were friendly and professional. I still don't get over the $100.00 it cost to stay there.
