Ooka sushi.hibachi steak house

This place is absolutely amazing. From top to bottom. From service to ambiance to the FRESH fish and incredible sushi. We sat at the sushi bar as we were a walk-in on a busy Saturday night. Watching the sushi chefs do their thing was a treat to see. Mind you they are awesome at their jobs. The plating of the food has a lot of attention to detail. As for the food itself, this is hands down the ONLY sushi restaurant I've been to in the local area that's neck and neck with Oshi in Newtown. Fish was super fresh and tasted incredible. Price wise there a little on the hirer end but nothing crazy. You also are getting what you pay for and this place might be over the top with everything but the price is reasonable. I will most definitely be coming back and would recommend for you to go if your looking for a good date night or some super tasty sushi.

Had a wonderful experience! The food, especially the fresh raw fish and delightful desserts, was fantastic. Just hoped for a bit more attention from our server. Overall, it was a delicious dining experience.

The restaurant was full on a busy Thursday night. We were seated promptly and a very friendly waiter took our drink and appetizer order. Both arrived quickly in time to order our entrees. When the food arrived it was correct, hot, and delicious. Our drinks were always kept full and he gave ample attention to our five year old granddaughter. We were all too full for dessert but ice cream was brought to our young one, in the exact flavor that she loves with whipped cream and sprinkles.
I feel that the cost was lower than I expected.
Ooka Sushi Hibachi’s went above and beyond our expectations. 10 out of 10!!!!

The sushi was excellent as was the service. Waitress was very engaged and knowledgeable. My only criticism is that it’s loud and they play background music that has lots of heavy thumping. You can also hear the noise from the hibachi area. A little soundproofing would go a long way. That aside, excellent food and presentation. Pricier than other similar sushi restaurants.

The food was amazing. We did the hibachi and the portions were very generous, full of flavor and cooked well. The chef was very personable and made the dinner fun. We also had one of their sushi rolls and it was also amazing. Can't wait to go back

Personally, one of my favorite places. I haven’t tried the hibachi side yet however I am a frequent visitor of the sushi/dinner side. The Food is always delicious and fish is always fresh. The food comes out quick and servers visit frequently to make sure everything is ok. I would absolutely recommend this place for family dinner or even a date night.

I truly believe Ooka at Willow Grove tops a lot of high end sushi places. I have been coming for at least 15 years. It is always fresh, consistent with food and service. They make the BEST sauce for the Kumoto oysters 🦪in my opinion. Whenever I am close, I will always stop by. It’s a plus that they are BYOB, an excellent place to meet your friends and colleagues.

It was my first time in a hibachi place and it was worth the money. We ordered some sushi to try and it was good also. Hibachi chef made a good show and even though 3 of us ordered different ways of meat (well done, medium rare and medium) it was good.

Had reservations on a Friday at 6:30. Definitely packed and probably one of the worst parking lots I've seen in terms of space and layout so get there early if you want a spot!

Food was spot on though and came in a timely manner.The sweet potato roll was simple and delicious. The salad and miso soup was also great.

The duck was fantastic. The texture and flavor were amazing, I was really surprised at how well it was done. The coconut fried taro it came with was also delicious.

The fried ice cream was awesome. Fried perfectly and had a good amount of ice cream on the inside.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Definitely will be back, probably on a weekday and at an earlier time.

The restaurant it self was nice and clean we were served rather quickly even though they were clearly busy, the staff seemed very polite and the food was absolutely delicious easily the best sushi I've had in my life the fish was so fresh and tender it almost felt like it was melting in my mouth. Wasn't a big fan of the uni however that was the first time I've tried uni and more than likely I just don't like uni, because everything else we had from there was delicious even the salad and miso soup that came with the entre were amazing. If you like sushi I 100% recommend eating here.

Sushi was delicious and service was really nice! The parking was tight though; we had to circle around and wait for people to leave so be prepared for that and carpool if you're planning a get together.

This location is right off the highway on a busy intersection with decent parking. The atmosphere is very pleasing. COVID measures are in place like QR code menus and plastic dividers.

Food is amazing and only a little expensive. For app, 4 sushi selections and dessert it was about $70. I would 100% go again soon. Service was attentive and polite!

I love this restaurant. Food is fresh. Best beef negamaki I have ever had. I will not order this anywhere else now. The food presentation is so beautiful. Service is good. You can get in and out as quick or as slow as you like. Their lunch bento boxes are a great deal. If in the area they add this to your list.

We always have done the Hibachi Grill but we keep talking about, "next time we will do the sushi bar or regular menu section."
I saw one review that said "small portions." That is a lie. I am a big guy and my 2 sons are 6'9" and 6'10" and eat a ton. No one goes home hungry.

I've been coming here since I was young and have to say it is my favorite place for hibachi. This time I got the strip steak. It comes with salad, clear soup, rice, noodles, veggies, 2 shrimp, and your entree meat. Ooka stands out from other hibachi places because they give you both rice and noodles where as most just give you one or the other.
I visited again yesterday with someone with multiple allergies, seafood, shellfish, sesame, and they made his food in the back as to not contaminate it with the other meals. Overall great food and atmosphere.

This is the best sushi place in town considering quality and value. Everyone working there are so nice. The dishes never fails to be great tasting , great prices, and consistent in quality. I ordered the Scallops and my friend steaks. Highly recommend.

Top ingredients + magical combinations = the most delicious Japanese food I’ve had. Everything is quality from the service to the food and the ambiance. I can’t wait to go back for another date night.

Service was great and super attentive, the food was beautiful and came out so quickly! Delicious and fresh sushi. Maybe I’ll come back for hibachi one day. It sounded really fun coming from the other room.

This place is so cute inside! The service was great, and the food was even better. Definitely recommend and will be going back next time my husband and I are in the area.

Ooka is a sushi hibachi steak house. They have a diverse menu, great seating, wonderful atmosphere, but most importantly the food is delicious. The parking lot is a little cramped and doesn't have entry/exit clearly labeled. You also cannot make a left into the restaurant since there is a median divider. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and precise. I enjoyed my time and will be back.
