One of my favorite places in Philadelphia! It’s always super busy but it offers so many opportunities to try new food and see cool stuff. Honestly, I’ve been there many times and I’m only starting to cover all the amazing food options!

This Market is a culinary gem that serves both locals and visitors with its rich tapestry of flavors, diverse offerings, and historic charm. If you're a foodie or just looking for a memorable meal, this market is a treasure trove that embodies the spirit of Philadelphia's vibrant food scene. From restaurant vendors, to gift shops, or straight up deli/seafood counters.. I couldn't decide on where to eat because of how many different and unique vendors sprawling around. I ended up choosing a Georgian cuisine place that was so delicious. My visit left me with a deep appreciation for the city's culinary heritage, and I can't wait to return to explore more of what it has to offer.

A foodie paradise! The food portions are generous and very reasonable. It's a bit like a labyrinth and the aisles can get clogged with people coming and going. I recommend The Dutch Place for one of the best breakfasts you'll have in Philly. Along with food stalls are kiosks that sell herbs, candy, meats, and seafood.

We stopped by this Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia for a quick bite before heading to New York. This open market space has so much to offer from dozens of stalls and they sell different variety of food like pizzas, cheese steaks, rotisserie chickens, burgers, sandwiches, hoagies, roast pork, seafood, noodles, burritos, pasta, coffee, crepes and many more. It was very crowded even on a weekday because it’s near the Convention Centre. You have lots of options to choose from buying ready cooked food to getting fresh groceries like fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats, fresh cut flowers etc. A very interesting place with lively atmosphere… a must visit if you’re in Philadelphia!

This is not just a tourist location, but is truly a functional market. You can find everything from meats and cheeses to fine candy and ice cream, produce and flowers and everything in between. Note that it does close at 6pm which feels a little early. Everything I have purchased from there has been top notch.

Great place to grab a bite! Recommend Fox and Sons for funnel cake and market bakery for a multigrain bagel with chives cream cheese. There’s only street parking which is always filled up be prepared. Must visit in Philly

So much fun. So much action and variety of color and textures food and people. If you lived in the area you could actually buy your groceries there. But the main thing is the lunch crowd and I do mean crowd. Every type of ethnic food choice is available there.

I haven't been in a few years, so I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements. All of my favorites are still there, plus a few new options. You can spend half a day there seeing all they have to offer.

Amazing selection from so many ethnic traditions! Go hungry. Great market options, too, for those who live in town. Bustling, full of energy, fun - and a bar, too!

Such a fun concept!!! This place is massive with tons of food, dessert, and grocery options. My favorite was the cajun spot and the ice cream. It was packed during my visit. Definitely a Philly staple.

A lovely way to spend an hr or so…. There’s definitely something for everyone here, lots of choices for food. Would recommend the Fourth Street Cookie and doughnuts, there are a few cheesesteak places to choose from. Getting a table is tricky during peak times, but a definite must if you’re visiting Philadelphia

An amazing tourist stop in Philadelphia. You walk in and you are bombarded with all types of great smells of different cuisine. You can get just about any type of food at Reading. They also have a multitude of baked goods, butchered meats and more. It is an amazing place.

Everything! Taste EVERYTHING! :D
Don't just go for the Philly but taste EVERYTHING (if you can of course). This place was the cherry on top of my vacay to philly.
I loved the meat pie from Kemal!

Lots of food options, specially sweets. There should be a bigger area for sitting down to eat, there is a lot of variety of food. Everything looks amazing, sure you will find something to eat. Also there is other type merchandise, like clothes, hard liquor, souvenirs, etc. Tends to be crowded. Even if you will not buy anything, you should visit and see by yourself.

Great way to spend a rainy day. Breakfast at Down Home Diner is a great place to start. Their biscuits are amazing and the people were really kind. After that, hop from aisle to aisle and pick from desserts, coffee, or small trinket shops. It really is just a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

This place was walking distance from our hotel, literally right across the street and they have everything you could want and more. Tons and tons of good options, anything you can imagine really, and even some stores. This place is so unique and definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been or are just in the area for a short while. During our time here we are at like four different places alone. The cookie place, by George; the diner place right when you walk in, and the bar in the back.

We had so much fun at the Reading Terminal Market. There’s something for every taste. We tried cookies, pretzels, Cajun, chicken, Peking duck, coffee, sweet potato pie and coffee. Parking is expensive and the place is crowded, but it’s totally worth it!

Awesome market. It really has everything with some of the best food in the city located inside. I got a roast pork with provolone and hot peppers at DiNics, Pastrami Reuben at Hershels, and a number of cookies at Famous 4th St. Cookie Company.

We ate every meal of our stay in Philly here. You get quality, variety, and value. We had some great fried chicken, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, breakfast at a Dutch place, pastries from same Dutch place, oysters, and Pad Thai Noodles. It was all super good.
