Springfield Diner

I had my birthday dinner here and it was ridiculously awesome. The servers were all great. The food portions were huge, the desserts are beautiful and delicious. The food came in a very timely manner. It was hot and delicious! The singing was fun, thanks to the servers. I now know why it's one of my friend's go to choice. He always chooses Springfield Diner, but it's the first time everyone agreed to go there. I'll be back!!❤❤❤❤

Great chicken parmigiana! The lobster bisque soup was good. Nice cheesy bread.

Just what you want from a dinner.Friendly staff, food was quick to come out, and the food was good. French toast, scrabble eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast.

Wonderful dining experience! The restaurant offers all kinds of classic diner options, with an even balance between breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials. I personally tried the chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and the pancakes were amazing. The eggs were scrambled perfectly. Next time we will check out the bakery, as they had several delicious looking dessert options. Will definitely stop by again!

I’ve been going here regularly since they opened. The food is always good and they have a great staff. I have brought family from out of town and they love it too. Only problem is lately prices have just about doubled, which I know a lot of places have.

They have the best creamed chipped beef, French toast, French onion soup, and the Mediterranean Panini is amazing, just tonnage a few!

I really love this diner, and I visit a lot of them, especially in Delco. The have a lot of choices of dishes here and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. If I visit a diner more than a handful of times, that’s a good sign. Springfield diner is one of those diners!

Update: May 2023 food still good, bathrooms still clean and servers still friendly! Michelle was our server this go around, she was pleasant and accommodating. I had the Cobb Salad without the bread. It was so filling and delicious and a huge serving. Definitely want to try their other salads when I’m not eating Whole30 or the elimination diet, but it goes to show you that you can adapt and Springfield Diner is all that.

Update 10/23: had the patty melt with sweet potatoe fries, very tasty. Hadn't had one in awhile. Totally worth it!

Really good food. Large portions that match the prices. Huge assortment of baked goods.

I was there again on August 1st 2023. The food is still really good, however, management should be aware that it is so annoying to have to listen to employees complain about their job or other employees. The people across from me were just as annoyed. The employee was very nice to the customers, but very boss and loud to the waitresses.

I didn't want to show her face, but I think management will know.

Food was quick, hot and good. Service was great at first then at the end some servers were more interested in hair cuts and gossip than the customes. But who doesn't like a little gossip now and again. Other than that it was worth the stop.

Stopped in for a slice of homemade apple pie alamode and a cup of coffee. As always, I was totally satisfied. I requested my pie to be heated, and it was just right. Friendly accommodating service. Flaky pie crust, as we know a crust can make or break a pie. Just enough everything. Such a treat.

Spinach omelette with feta cheese and wheat toast and carrot cake. The staff are very friendly, it's a very family-oriented environment with healthy portions of food.

The shrimp salad on a spinach wrap is one of my favorites. They always allow me to substitute the fries with a vegetable. Always friendly service.

These folks are on top of things. Greetings at the door, sped off to your seat, waitresses asking you what they can get started for your right away. How they even have workers is a mystery to me. Restaurants can't even stay open right now, and this place is running like a fine machine. Food was excellent and brought out in record time. Good work.

Delicious best describes every aspect of this dining experience. The staff were professional, but very friendly. The restaurant was well maintained and clean. The food was cooked to order. I highly recommend that you save room for a dessert - they have wonderful choices. If this review was helpful, please "like" it.

Food was excellent! Prices were great, portion sizes were more than enough!! Took half of everything I bought (but couldn't finish) home in a doggie bag. Service was top notch, very personable, and friendly. Definitely worth a sit down; the meal, the soup, and the cake (OMG the cake!) were all frickin fabulous! Had the baked Mac & Cheese with the Crab cake...try it, it was great!!

Food was delicious. I got a pizza burger made with a turkey burger and was very impressed. Dessert was Italian Rum Cake, which was very good. Could have used more rum flavor but still tasty.

I’ve lived in this area all my life and sadly I only been here once. Not anymore I love this dinner. As soon as you walk in there is a display case of all the delicious baked goods to make you even hungrier lol

The Springfield Diner is a pleasant restaurant for eating brunch or dinner. The menu and food is always appetizing and delicious! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for great food and good service to all my family and friends.

Connie was our server. Great experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the extensive menus. Food came out quick and was so tasty! Will return.

Always a good meal. No one leaves hungry! Had the fish 'n chips platter with a HUGE side salad. Left with a "doggie bag" of course!
