Such a huge convenience they’re open until 11 especially after a day of hiking and a long drive home. Baristas were extremely friendly even after arriving 40 mins before closing. Games available to play. Upstairs is a cute store full of goodies. Bathrooms were very clean and fully stocked. I ordered the pistachio white mocha and white chocolate mocha. Both were very delicious!

The other day a group of friends and I decided to give the River Coffee Company a try for our weekly hang out. Man am I glad we did! I didn't realize this awesome shop existed until I saw their billboard sign pointing the way. When you first roll up to River C C you notice the big sign and the welcoming esthetics of the place. For me it is attached with some nostalgia, because when I was a kid this building housed the local movie cinema. :) As you walk in your realize right away that the place is COMFORTABLE. There are many comfy chairs place all throughout the vast seating area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And now to the reason I came in... the coffee. I ordered your standard mocha latte and they nailed it. The coffee was delicious. Among my group we had fraps, non fat iced mocha, tea, and the gambit! All were done quickly and tasted delicious. Or so said my friends. They have a little room that small parties can enter to have some privacy and we really appreciated it! There are many coffee shops in Kalispell but this is by far my favorite. The hours are from 5pm to 11pm, which stinks if you want morning coffee, BUT they are the only gig in town that is open that late. Many in my party celebrated this fact and said they would frequent River Coffee Company often. Thanks to the staff for giving us a fun, comfortable and CLEAN experience with delicious coffee.

Coffee and their other drinks are absolutely amazing. Such a friendly and spacious space to hang out and relax. I was shocked at how fast the internet was and the really nice barista with the pony tail explained how they don't throttle speeds to guests like some other businesses do.
If you're looking for the only place (other than a bar) in Kalispell that is consistently open late, you won't be disappointed with the River!

Amazing spot. It's only open Fridays and Saturdays, but I was so happy to find a good café open until 11pm! The staff were warm and friendly, and the chai tea was marvelous. Lots of seating, very cute spot to meet and chat with friends. Fast wifi. An easy place to relax and unwind... It used to be an old movie theater but was converted. The barista, Janelle, was so, so, so kind to me! Wish I wasn't just visiting town for a short while, otherwise I'd love to come here to chill and do work on my laptop!

I meet weekly with a group of ladies and after our meeting there's always happy people playing games, visiting, having get-togethers for birthdays and events. It's kind of a hidden gem for evenings. Then I tried the coffee... a dirty spiced chai frappe with toasted marshmallow; to be exact. It was delicious. If I lived closer I'd be there way too much.

The River Coffee Company is a great place to get work done late with caffeine and free WiFi. I was impressed with their quality espresso that tasted delicious AND that’s roasted locally in Bigfork. They are open Mon-Sat, 5pm-11pm and I'm so excited we actually have a place in Kalispell open later than 2pm. Classy and cozy atmosphere (including a waterfall) that makes it easy to focus!

Me and my friends have game nights there the coffee is great and the building is beautiful and calming.

I'm not a coffee person but all the non coffee beverages I've had are wonderful. The staff is always friendly and a joy to see. This is not only a great place to grab a drink but also if you want to hangout with friends and play games or even just work or read. Although I think the best part is how late they are open.

How nice: a coffee shop/safe place to hang out with friends, that's open late! warm and spacious, I'm surprised that their music is diverse and welcoming. Simple menu but maybe they will expand on things like snacks, soups, etc. Nice little gem coffee bar.

I LOVE meeting friends at The River. It is open in the evening. The atmosphere is pleasant. Their staff is great and they make a good cup of coffee.

Tonight was my first night at The River Coffee Company and I really enjoyed it. I love the environment, such a mellow place. And the operation hours are great too. Jody made such a good frappuccino, I will definitely be referring others to this place for business. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

Best place in town if you need somewhere to relax. do homework and just chill. This place is perfect for dates perfect for a place to hang with friends. it’s literally perfect. the river and BRCC are the only 5 star coffee shops.

Hard to find but awesome drinks. Don't be scared to try the special river mocha, it's awesome. They also have a punch card discount, buy 7 get one FREE!

I LOVE THEIR COFFEE! This place is open late to satisfy you even till 11 pm! Was visiting Kalispell and everyone else was closed except them and the coffee is amazing and not too sweet, just like I like it! Definitely deserves a try!❤❤☕☕

This place is great! Perfect for a group hang out or quiet work time. Open late and tons of choices for drinks. Great protein bars and local wheat Montana food!

Amazing place to chill! Aesthetically pleasing and open till late 6 days a week. The coffee is great and the staff is super chill! Ask for Janelle:) 100/10 would recommend.

Our family loves to invite friends and play board games. It makes me think of the tv show Cheers but with coffee. Obviously a little late for caffeine for many of us but they serve up a mean decaf espresso and Kalispell Creamery ice cream too! A place where acquaintances become friends for life I think and a place where family’s, friends, and loners will be quite comfortable.

The River is a great place to meet up with friends for coffee. It's also got seating for one in order to work on homework or maybe get in some quite reading.

The atmosphere was cozy which was great to walk into after a cold day. The coffee was great. 100% recommend.
Would definitely like to come back if I’m in town.
