AC Hotel by Marriott Pittsburgh Southpointe

My first experience staying here and I absolutely loved it! Marc at the front desk made my stay absolutely unbelievable! Excellent customer service. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back! Visiting a friend staying here. He definitely made a great impression when we arrived.

Only issue- Marriotts website does not list the $30 pet fee. Not a huge deal, this is a low fee for pets to stay. Glad to have my dog with me

Great customer service I was there visiting in November A friend was getting married. Marc the front desk agent was so nice and outgoing he went above and beyond. One of the best customer service I had at a Marriott property. I'm also going to write to Marriott corporate about the experience I had at your property. Rooms are always very clean, modern design. Basic hotel amenities. I stay here for business travel off and on . Employees are always nice and helpful, with the exception of one time. Rooms are comfortable with the exception of the room with a sink in the middle of the room . That room type also has the toilet and shower uncomfortably placed with the bathroom door being partially see-through. Don't get me wrong. Any other room I have stayed in has been just fine . This particular room I would prefer not to stay in again.

Absolutely wonderful! Thanks to all the friendly and efficient staff at AC Hilton Southpointe. Our stay for my son's wedding was perfect. Every amenity made our stay comfortable, easy, and enjoyable. William at the front desk was wonderful and Bill The Breakfast Guy provided exceptionally pleasant service and a fine breakfast buffet. And the robot?... what a hoot!

Very Clean. Professional but a very very business location. Loved the stay here as a stop on a vacation travel to see family. I regret that I have likely spoiled by 12yo by taking her here. We have done many hotels from the lower end to middle ends for vacations and travel sports. She said after this she never wants go to anything else but an AC Marriott due to this location. The rainfall shower won her over 1000%. For the staff, o regret not getting her name but the young black lady, early to mid 20s with beautiful longer hair with color in it, always positive, polite, and professional. To management, please make sure she is recognized. Stay weekend July 14-16.

First time visiting this property and I understand it's relatively new but I was impressed at how well it's maintained and how fresh it looks. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hydration station in the hall was a great touch. Service was pleasant and responsive, breakfast was fresh and the rates are reasonable. They even have a nice patio area with fire pits if you want to just chill with some friends and it's a short walk to a few nice restaurants.

If you're in the area for business, I'd recommend it highly.

Very clean, comfortable and upscale rooms. Easy check-in with a vibrant reception atmosphere. If you want to visit downtown Pittsburgh, it is pretty far away though. However, we usually end up coming here still. Highly recommend if you don't mind the drive.

Great stay from start to finish. Prompt delivery of mobile key after I checked in through the app, very clean room, and friendly service when I checked out. A perfect stopover option when traveling through PA.

I'm a frequent traveler for both business and leisure. AC Hotel Pittsburgh Southpointe checks every important box that I'm looking for while traveling. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located in a newly developed business district. My daughter and I stayed here for a golf tournament this week. William, Matt and other front desk staff are exceptionally helpful and make us feel welcome and appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers in the area.

Attention management. The front desk employee Marcus is EXCEPTIONAL at his job. He accommodated us quickly and was very kind. He handled multiple check ins and the phone ringing off the hook. Hats off to this place and the staff especially front desk.

From the moment we walked in, it was clean and the decor was lovely! The front desk staff was helpful snd polite. When we walked into our room it was beautiful! The walk in shower was great! Bed was comfortable! Very clean! Definitely recommend! Won’t be disappointed.

Stayed here was a wonder stay fantastic buffet breakfast with a live jazz band staff was amazing and toke great care of me while I stayed and the bed and room was fantastic as well no complaints and the shower was like a rainfall from heaven and there bathrooms were spotless. The bar was my favorite part they had a great bartender who was super friendly as a Marriott employee It would be a dream to work here!

I’m so glad we stayed at this hotel. The room was soo nice and clean. The service top notch and the people working there really care and help us while we were there. Very caring and kind to people staying at the AC hotel. It was nice location for us to stay while visiting Pittsburgh. Will definitely come back.

I just want to say that the staff and hotel were great! I rarely write reviews but I felt especially during these hard times with travel it needed writing. The hotel was super clean and the front end staff was super friendly and helpful....The bar tender, can’t remember his name was awesome! The wine list was very good! What I would expect at a much more expensive hotel! Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Excellent, very very clean and sanitized, coffee in room , not so good ( lol ) of course name one that is !! Lighting designs need location improvement , the bathroom esp. But beautiful hotel great staff !!!!!

Best hidden treasure in South Pointe. Went for a conference here today and was amazed at the quality of the building with natural tones and was very inviting. The conference room had 4 huge TV's set up on the walls and could accommodate I believe it was up to 75 people. Great bar area and friendly staff. I would start here long before other choices in the area and surrounding!
