Speers Street Grill

First visit. Lovely quaint little place that is a must try. The owner and staff were great. The zucchini was amazing! They have outside seating but it was closed due to weather. We had New York strip steak and Surf and Turf Pasta❤ After dinner take a walk down to the river. Awesome little area.

A hidden gem. Fried zucchini is awesome! Desserts were definitely worth overeating... and I got to see Santa 🎅 in a little parade!

I’ve been here a number of times over the years while in the area visiting family. This weekend, I had the Autumn Bourbon Salad & it was delicious! Our table ordered the big zucchini for an appetizer and that was really good as well. I’ve always liked this restaurant and it just keeps getting better & better. Service was excellent.

Excellent food, nice atmosphere. The Queso Burger and Sausage Pasta, both were superb. The homemade chips were great too, perfect amount of seasoning. Will certainly return to try other menu items. I would definitely recommend you try them if you are in the area and looking for a nice restaurant with great food.

Went for the Sunday brunch, and was blown away. Tried several things off the brunch menu, and all of it was excellent. Service was also great. Hoping the brunch continues through the summer months.

I was in the area for work and heard about this place on a recommendation. I came here for dinner and was very happy with the food and service. Ordered the special which was meatloaf on top of mashed potatoes and toast topped with gravy and onion rings. Food was delicious and I would come back next time I'm in the area. I definitely would recommend this place.

Wonderful place that is always crowded and well managed. Some places are crowded and it’s just so-so but this place isn’t like that at all. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is very good. But the desserts are really the reason to go. As you can see from the pictures below I forgot to take pictures before I ate! 😂

Most of the food options in the Belle Vernon area are fast food or taverns (i.e. bars that serve food). The Speers Street Grill is a proper restaurant and all the food we ordered (Crab spinner to start and a Gyro salad and Surf & Turf pasta entrees) was very good and very reasonably priced. Our server Allison was excellent. You can eat outside on their deck overlooking the river weather permitting. I would definitely return if I come back to Belle Vernon.

The building itself is super cute and being next to the river is amazing too! The food was so delicious, I got the salmon with the pecan crust which was just fantastic. Can't wait to go back again and try other dishes!

Everything was absolutely amazing! A friend took me for my birthday and I definitely wasn't disappointed! She picked it because of the zucchini and it's so delicious, and so so worth it! The chocolate peanut butter pie is to die for too!

Nice atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Nice view of the river. The Zucchini Ribbons are incredible. Food was great and perfectly prepared. Definitely recommend.

Always a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. Very busy between 12 and 1pm. Baked cod with mushrooms over mashed potatoes is amazing!!! Never a bad meal and their fried zucchini is so light and fluffy...yum! Try it!!!

Stopped here for lunch. Baked cod sandwiches were great, the fried zucchini basket was huge (light and crispy slices) with good marinara and ranch dipping sauces. Apricot cheesecake bar was huge, but nice and light and not too sweet. Nice outdoor dining area on the deck.

Great local restaurant, friendly staff. Food was fresh and different. Nice selection on the menu.

I cannot praise speers street grill enough. There is so much charm in this place I couldn't stop talking about how much I loved it there. The food was delicious, the deserts delectable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. You just feel welcome there. I can't wait to go back.

I was worried because a lot of the people waiting to be seater were older. In my experience this usually means either very cheap or unseasonably food.

I was so so so pleasantly surprised. It was a delightful experience with great food and a nice casual atmosphere.

They sell baked goods as well.

Add the delicious food, friendly wait staff, and the view; it all adds up to five stars. It tends to be very busy at meal times, try to visit at off hours if you want this deck view.

Delicious food. We even took a few desserts to go.
