Buon Cibo Grill

We were in town for a hockey tournament, and looking for a place for dinner. This place is a gem. Great wait staff, and a quiet ambiance for conversation. Not a big place, but just the right size for date night or if you want to have conversation at dinner. Food was served fresh, bonus points for having fresh pasta!

Quality ingredients everything was very fresh. Menu prices and higher than on website. Very small inside reservations are recommended. Not so kid friendly.

Buon Cibo is unlike any other restaurant I've been to. The hospitality puts them at the top of my list. The staff is so friendly and outgoing it made the experience unforgettable. Each person that walked by asked how everything was going multiple times. The food was exceptional. The bread and wedding soup were delicious. Had cheese tortellini with grilled chicken which was excellent as well. I'd highly recommend to everyone!

Wonderful food and fantastic service! The owners make you feel like familia! Crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had!

Went here with my parents for mom's birthday per recommendation from a friend. Had a little bit of a wait as they were very busy, but it was well worth the wait. Everything was delicious. I ordered the lasagna and a meatball and it was very good. Both parents enjoyed their meal as well. Also the desserts were great, staff was very friendly and the restaurant had a good atmosphere all around. Definitely will be back!

Great family owned Italian restaurant. Starting with fantastic bread and ending with excellent tiramisu from Mom's recipe, everything was great. Super nice people and great service. Just make a reservation if it is a busy time because the place is fairly small.

We found Buon Cibo about a year ago after having to make a quick pivot for dinner. I was absolutely blown away by how fresh and delicious the food is. I've eaten here a lot since that first day and the service, food, and atmosphere are still as impressive as they were on that first visit. I'm convinced the food keeps tasting better each time. Takeout or dine in, you will not be disappointed. I recommend dining in to meet the owners and family, they're very sweet people who radiate gratitude as they go from table to table.

10/10!!! AUTHENTIC ITALIAN

My husband and I moved to the Murrysville/Trafford área about 2 years ago. We were looking for some good Italian food. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. HOMEMADE PASTA; the meatballs were out of this world delicious. My husband got fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was amazing. There was a little Italian man walking around, I assume he was the owner. All of the workers were wonderful as well.

If you’re in the Delmont/Murrysville/Trafford/Monroeville area. I couldn’t suggest more.

best chicken parm ever!! chicken is thin and tender, breading was flavorful and crisp, topped with the right amount of sauce and cheese as to not make the meal soggy. side dish of pasta (choose your sauce) was excellent as well---real butter and cheese in the alfredo! meatball appetizer was great with their house bread.
service is truly excellent. every staff member says hello and asks if you need anything. our server Jordan was very attentive, polite and has a warm personality.
warm and cozy atmosphere. wonderful restaurant. no negatives whatsoever.

Family owned tasty authentic italian cuisine, sure the place is small but it doesn’t take anything away from this place.

All I have to say is WOW! I ordered eggplant parmigiana which came with penne, a salad, and bread (takeout). It was delicious! It was a pretty decent size portion of food 😳. The red sauce tastes incredibly homemade. Can’t wait to dig into the homemade tiramisu! 🤤 This will definitely be my new date night request! 😏

Food and service was impressive. Veal chop was perfectly done and the risotto was creamy.

the wife wanted Italian food for her birthday... this place is a hidden gem! The food was AMAZING... the service was TOP-NOTCH! I don't think there was a single staff member who didn't come out and personally greet us and tell us their name! When i called they told me they were booked up until well after 8pm, but they were able to squeeze my wife and I in for an early 4:30 dinner... I definitely do NOT regret finding this place! 20 thumbs up!

Our family loves Buon Cibo and cannot recommend them enough. It is past time that we had another good family-owned restaurant in our community. The fact that this business is family-owned is a huge plus, but that would hardly help them stay in business (which all communities want of their small businesses!) if it weren't for their fantastic (heavenly?) food. They have a robust, creative menu of Italian classics and delicious seafood, so we can always choose how carby or light and health-conscious we want to eat. Their desserts are always a delight, too, though we're nearly always too full to take part. Make reservations--this restaurant is not to be missed!

This was my first time here. My wife had been a few weeks ago and insisted we come back on our way through the area. It did not disappoint. It was our friend's first time as well. We were all completely satisfied. I had the crab, scallops and shrimp and it was awesome. Even the hand cut French fries were great. The owners stopped by the table multiple times throughout the meal and didn't just check on us but TALKED with us for several minutes, making it feel warm and inviting. This will be a staple location for us when we are in the area.

My favorite Italian restaurant! Always my first choice. Excellent food and service. Family owned and the love comes through in dishes. Love the Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, went with a friend they loved the Veal. Great atmosphere, I feel welcomed each time we go. Will definitely be back.

A wonderful hidden gem in Murrysville. The food is amazing. My husband said it was the best chicken parm he has ever had. Crabcakes were amazing as well. It's our new favorite spot. The owners are so nice and the service is great.

ABOVE AND BEYOND! I absolutely love this place. I was craving some good Italian food and was doing my research on every Italian restaurant Pittsburgh has to offer. I was discouraged at first until I found this restaurant. When I arrived, they were very busy and the owner told me he would have me a table in 30 minutes. I came back in 20 minutes and they had my table ready and reserved with no reservation. I felt underdressed when I first realized the atmosphere, but they made me feel comfortable and still treated me upscale. My server was the manager, Roberto, and he was AMAZING! So easy to talk to and amazing customer service! He made my experience amazing before I even got my food! Then when I received my order, omg I almost fell out of my chair it was so good. Their sauce is by far the best I’ve ever had. I got the gnocchi (so soft & sooo good) with a meatball, a very fresh tasty salad, a crab cake which may have been the best crab cake I ever had as well, and risotto. And don’t get me started on their BREAD! Everything was amazing! If I could give this place extra stars I would. Everything gets 5 stars! The restaurant, the customer service, the atmosphere, and of course the food! I will definitely be stopping back through my next visit to Pittsburgh. Thank you Buon Cibo Grill for an amazing, well rounded dining experience! I’m so glad I found this restaurant.
