Market District Supermarket

Pretty good selection for the area. PLEASE FIX ORGANIC PRODUCE SECTION. Lettuce is always wilted and I think the cooler or sprinkler is broken. The napa cabbages and red leaf are sad..

The G.E. Market District is a newly renovated Giant Eagle supermarket.
They did a great job making this location even more super. This location has everything a person needs for groceries and more. A great place to shop and a great fit for the community.

Great assortment of items, very helpful staff and good prices. Also, when I was there, pretty early, checkout was easy.

Market District is a great experience and ambiance. They have a significantly larger selection of prepared foods including hot and reheatables. Sushi selection is decent and the sushi chefs are very consistent.

Another Giant Eagle store anchor store. Not as big as some but they carry a wide selection, and are well stocked. The staff are very friendly, and helpful, and are a pleasure to deal with. This store offers both curbside pickup, and delivery service which makes it very easy to do your grocery shopping.

Now a market place must visit the deli well worth the trip,and stock some hard to find items , stop any of the staff they are more than delighted to help you

Love the layout of the store. The staff are friendly and courteous, in the store is always nice and clean. I love that they have a sushi section, freshly made daily. This Giant eagle is one of the best.

I love it! I can find a variety of items that you can’t find at other grocery stores. A great variety of mushrooms to Hispanic ingredients, Asian, Indian and so on I’m in love with this store.

I love Market District. They help small businesses sale local items. It's about time they came to terms to establish one in Westmoreland County.

Really nice location now that they are a Market District. Nice addition to the area and they have a great selection of produce and deli meats. Beer and wine section is also very decent and they have a lot of good options available

I had a return, today, as I had ordered the wrong size of mayo in a curb side pickup order. The service person was helpful and courteous. The store, itself, was clean. Their produce is always fresh with a good variety of organic produce. There is a strong fishy smell due to the large variety of fresh fish sold at the fish counter. Overall, they offer a pleasant shopping experience.

Mark and Tammy are some of the most remarkable people I've met since I've been up here. Again I am from Georgia I am not accustomed to all the ways up here but they were magnificent I checked around the store it was absolutely clean everything labeled all the sales are up to date. Not to mention the fact that when I went to the floral section and looked at orchids Mark was very very knowledgeable and his department was absolutely spotless, even though I did go in for interview and it went well that does not take away from the fact that these people are absolutely amazing they are dedicated to their job and most importantly they are dedicated to the customer experience, it was absolutely amazing I don't even think I put punctuations in this because it was so good thank you so much Mark and Tammy.

Great small footprint, has everything you need and the Market District extras without that large store. Love the people.

This is a great Giant Eagle. They had resituated the fries and vegetables department, and it was much more open with an improved flow. And I seriously doubt if anyone's produce is better than Giant Eagle's! The grapes are fabulous right now!

Very clean. Employees are considerate and very helpful. Their meats, lunch meats are the freshest compared to other places. Very clean and neat. Fruits, veggies look good. Always fresh. They entire store is exceptional clean. Prices are in line with many other stores.

This location’s online ordering / curbside delivery system is pretty much perfect. I’ve ordered curbside pickup about twice a month for the past year & I haven’t had a single issue yet. That’s very impressive.
