Shelly Pie Pizza

This has got to be the best pizza in Pittsburgh hands down! New York’s got nothin on Shelly Pie! Delicious, cheesy, perfect pizza right at your doorstep. Not to mention the other delicious menu items too and the great atmosphere when you dine in! Keep it up, Shelly Pie, no notes!

A great stop to grab a slice of pizza or two or three. The pies here are just that, thick cheesy, and a good crust. The size of this restaurant is decent with a large-ish parking lot to go with it. Thank goodness you don’t have to pay for parking. The staff here are friendly especially during those chaotic prime hours. I’ve had the food here a time or two but did dine in at least once and boy was there a party in there. To go has been good and dinging in is great as well, just get your damn pizza party on! This place is popular among the locals and so if you already know then you know. Everything I’ve gotten from here has been a delight so no complaints. Good, sweet tea. Gooey pizza, in my experience, piping hot, which is the best. The UHSHSHSHSAAHAHAH, is the best part when biting into something hot. There’s a bunch of food here that isn’t pizza as well, so there’s some options if you don’t want a tasty pie but a large menu indeed. Don’t come here if you’re on a diet. If you have then good, if you haven’t why not?

I hadn't gotten around to writing a review when my brother and I ordered here a few weeks ago but wanted to make sure to compliment the pizza here. We ordered both a Sicilian pie and a regular pepperoni pie and both exceeded expectations. The pepperoni was plentiful and both were delicious. I would not hesitate to order again next time I am in the area.

If you’re ever east of Pittsburgh, Shelly Pie is a must!! On of the best pizzas in the Pittsburgh area!

First pizza of the year, and it's incredible! I've never had Shelly Pie, but I've heard great reviews and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It's everything you want in a pizza place: good variety of toppings, good crust, nice sauce, menu items other than pizza, etc. I tried the classic cheese pizza and a cheese calzone.

Both of them were excellent. The pizza is absolutely humongous! A large, which is $15, was a whopping 19"! Other places have that size at $22...great deal here! The our crust is thicker than average but it's quality. They are heavy on the cheese, which I personally like. Expect it to be messy as they are also pretty liberal with the sauce and very liberal with toppings from what I've seen. When the box came I did notice the pizza isn't perfectly uniform, but honestly, who cares? It tastes great and they use quality ingredient, offer good flavors, and fantastic prices.

The calzone was also great. Very large! I shared mine and 1/2 a calzone is enough for a filling meal. It is stuffed with a whole lot of (mozzarella I think) cheese and ricotta. The bread part if the calzone was crispy and had butter and/or garlic in the top. Perfect. Heavy and delicious. The sauce was also wonderful. Came with a whole mini bowl of it, and the sauce had a nice sweetness with some herbs too.

Overall, you can't beat these portion sizes or prices. Plenty of high quality leftovers. While someone in my household didn't love it, I thought it was great (said it looked sloppy and poorly made, but again, why does it really matter). Anytime I'm in Turtle Creek, I'll try to stop by!

I just want to say what a wonderful experience I had tonight. There was a group of 20 of us and everything was perfect from start to finish. From making the reservations with Joe who I called a few times and he was pleasant and very accomadating. Our waitress was amazing. She did not mess up anything from drinks, dinners and even the separate checks. The kitchen was busy but Joe still stopped by to check in on us. The food was AMAZING as usual!

We had reservations for a party of 16 tonite. Food was delicious as always. Exceptional service from Joe and all who pitched in to help serve our group of crazies. Shelly pie never disappoints! Highly recommend.

The pizza is amazing, they have the best crust ever! And our waitress Alyison was very attentive and even handled my special dietary needs.
And she smiles all the time,so refreshing ❤

Nice pizza offshoot of Vincent's but with way more good menu items. Never knew this place was here till I saw it on WTAE and had to give her a try. Excellent tasting sauce, and the crust is amazing. Will definitely be back!!!

The pizza here is really good. Hand tossed dough that when they drop it on the peel they leave it in that shape. No round pizza here. Very good though. When you see the building you wouldn't think it was a pizza place.

A Pittsburgh staple through-and-through. Shelley Pies are sloppy, cheesy, saucy, and oh-so-tasty. Be ready to go home full, and possibly with leftovers. These pies are BIG!

First time being here and I'll definitely be back. One of the best New England Clam Chowders that I've had, and the Chicken Stroganoff was awesome. I can't wait to try more from the menu.
Highly recommend if your in the area or if you want somewhere new.

The food and the atmosphere were amazing! You can tell the owner cares about their customers with the world class service provided! The breaded mushrooms were my favorite!

Anyone who complains about this pizza clearly doesn't appreciate pizza on this side of the city or understand this style. Some of the best around! Buffalo Chicken pizza knocked my socks off! Will be back soon!

Lived in Pittsburgh all my life and never tried a Shelly Pie until tonight. I’ve been missing out, I regret not coming here sooner! Definitely a new customer locked in forever! Superb pizza and the nicest staff!

They have delicious Pizza and Entree's.
Their soup is also so good.
The Customer Service is outstanding.

Can not give enough accolades to the staff and especially our waitress.
There were 9 of us for dinner and the restaurant was very busy , but she made us feel pampered , delivered our food quickly, and was very efficient.
They are many different menu options and we can't wait to revisit.

This is a great restaurant to eat at. It’s a wide variety of food, and as they describe the food, the pizza is a knife and fork eating experience. I ordered a white pizza, and there was a bit more oil on the pizza than I liked, but it was good. The thing about pizzas It varies from restaurant to restaurant, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad.
