I am at Nicky James Interior Design and have been working with Stamford Modern for many years now. I’m not sure if I know of a better company in Fairfield County to be honest. From their product, to their customer service, it makes my work as a designer a breeze.

Their selection of both vintage and newly designed furniture is endless. I’ve used their furniture in multiple projects and my clients couldn’t be happier with the result. Not just because of the style, but the quality. They are pieces that are going to last a lifetime.

Working with the Stamford Modern team is effortless. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating on an event with them, “Beyond Mid-Century”, where I worked closely with Erick to shine light on some of their most special furniture pieces. These guys know their stuff!

If you haven’t been into their new showroom in Westport, it’s a must! They work with different budgets and styles and I’ve always been able make something work. Whether you are a designer or an end user, the showroom is beautiful and well worth the trip!

I found Stamford Modern looking on line for some new furniture for our bedroom. The showroom is just beautiful and all the midcentury pieces are beautifully restored. The fabrics chosen for the upholstered pieces are just gorgeous. Erick and Carlos are extremely personable, knowledgeable and have a great sense of style. They are also very accommodating. The dresser we found is just perfect in our bedroom. It's so beautifully restored and finished I don't want to put anything on top of it. The delivery team was also courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to working with Carlos and Erick again in the future!

Erick is absolutely wonderful to work with! The quality selection at Stamford Modern is unmatched - they are a go-to for all my interior design projects. Stamford Modern has one of the best and fullest selection of mid-century furniture in the area. The owners find gems to restore and reupholster so that the pieces look brand new and in keeping with the period. Further, they make custom pieces for designers that rival the originals. I have also used them to refresh and reupholster all my old mid century and contemporary pieces. Finally, Carlos and Erick are a pleasure to deal with. They are very customer-oriented. There is nothing they can’t do!

Amazing selection of mid century furniture, every piece at the showroom has been selected with great taste. I needed a couple of accent chairs and it was very difficult to decide among the many beautiful options. The ones I picked needed to be reupholstered, for which they have a great selection of fabrics from top brands. Every detail I asked for was done to perfection. Could not resist also buying a bench from their own design, goes great with the mid century vibe and was beautifully made.

We have now purchased two of their fabulous mid-century modern ottomans. These are incredibly well-made, high-quality, very heavy and sturdy pieces which don't move around when you bump into them or want to your put your feet up.

Stamford Modern is a wonderful showroom with extremely high quality, stylish modern furnishings. The lead times are quick, they are very responsive and easy to work with and the pieces are always immaculate.

Stamford Modern has the most stunning collection. I could spend hours in there! In addition, they are very professional (and talented!). I am excited to have just found out that they are also online, and I look forward to shopping in their new location.

This is an incredible furniture gallery, specializing in mid-century modern - the top of the line. I just received delivery of a walnut coffee table created by an artist in 1956 and it's absolutely gorgeous, timeless and in pristine condition. It is timeless and perfect. Delivery from the east coast to the west coast went smoothly; It is hands down the best delivery experience I've ever had and so appreciate the responsiveness and professional handling. If I could be beamed anywhere to buy furniture it would be Stamford Modern.

The owner of Stamford Modern was very accommodating and provided us with good customer service. Having been in search for months for a mid-century dresser with specific dimensions, it was exciting to find a place like Stamford Modern that perfectly matched our style quest.
