I had the pleasure of visiting RRT Motorsports recently for some car repairs, and I must say they exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

First and foremost, the work they did on my car was top-notch. The repairs were done professionally and with great attention to detail. I could tell that their technicians were highly skilled and knowledgeable, as they quickly identified and resolved the issues with my vehicle. All hail Raif the evo king! Long story short my evo blew up half a year ago due to the previous owner not putting enough fluid in the transmission. I had the car towed up to RRT so that they could remove it. Raif and his team skillfully removed the broken trans (the TOB had welded itself to the motor), and replaced it with a new smooth shifting core and RS front diff for a great deal! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable on the CT9A platform. Would not hesitate to bring my evo here again, these guys rock!

Just picked up my Lancer Evolution 9 from RRT Motorsports and it feels absolutely amazing. If you have a DSM and are looking for a shop to get it worked on, I would highly recommend taking it here. They do amazing work and the staff are a group of great people. 12 out of 10

Best shop in NY NJ CT area to bring your Evo DSM to. Raif built my Evo 9 over 7 years ago now its 2022 and car runs great till this day. Making 706whp back in 2015 on wastegate pressure which was 24-26psi on a 6466 T4 turbo. Now I have a 6875 and I need to bring it back for a retune.
Setup is 2.1LR ported head forged bottom end (stock bare block no sleeves or anything)
RRT trans , tease, rear diff

Purchased my evo x about 6 months ago and have had nothing but issues. Raif was a huge help with answering questions/ helping me confirm the cause of my problems. Once the car was running again he was patient and gave me a run down of things to check prior to scheduling a tune so that I wouldn't waste my money. Had my appointment this morning and am beyond pleased with the way the car performs. I finally feel like i can enjoy my evo without worrying about another issue occurring. Looking forward to returning for more power after adding new parts in the future!

Got my Evo X Tuned at RRT and got exactly what I wanted. Previous tune from another spot wasn't running properly. RRT knew exactly what to do and got me in and out in about an hour. Highly recommend.

Do not hesitate to bring your car here. I drove 6 hours to his shop and it’s the only place I will ever take my evo to. Raif went above and beyond helping me with my evo. Raif and his team at RRT went above and beyond for me. I’ve been to 5 Shops for my evo x and this guy right here is the best. I came from NJ and it was well worth the trip. I now know where to go for all my work for my car. He explained everything perfectly and helped with all issues I had. I recommend this guy to everyone who actually cares for their cars.

I was told if you have an EVO , RRT Motorsports in CT is the place to be . So I messaged the owner Raif , in regards of what I had put into my car . This was my first time having my car tuned . Raif , was very responsive , and extremely helpful . He is a professional and honest . He tuned my Evo and it came out great . Had a minor issue with idling . I texted him my issues . He was very prompt on my concerns and he got right on the issues once I data logged for him . Took it back to him to have it checked . Problem fixed within 30 minutes . Car is running at its optimum stage !!! 430whp on 93 flex fuel tuned @465 on e85 !!! Great tuner and would highly recommend to all EVO owners .

Let me just start by saying I'm neurotic about who I let touch my car. I did a lot of research and settled on RRT Motorsports for a turbo install, tune, and transmission work.The owner Raif was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and kept a good line of communication throughout the process. I received my car back exactly how I wanted it, and it drives and runs like a dream. Highly recommended!

Last year I brought my Evo to Raif to have the Transmission built and put a Wavetrack diff in my Transfer case. He crushed the job in 2 days! Talk about fast! Since, I have put about 2,500-3,000 miles on the car and the Transmission shifts buttery smooth, and has given me zero issues. From the moment I called I felt comfortable bringing my car to Raif as his extensive knowledge of the Evo/DSM platform was easy to pick up over the phone. He was always very communicative which, for me, is paramount for even considering a company to work on my car. I will for sure be bringing my business and anyone else I know to Raif at RRT Motorsports for future work. Thanks for everything!

Had my car Dyno Tuned by Raif @ RRT Motorsports and he is a Genius. He fixed a screw up from someone else that "tuned" my car and I can't thank him enough. I'll definitely keep going to him and recommend him to anyone. A+++++👍🏻👍🏻

I have a 1995 eagle talon, i had a lot of issues with the car prior to bringing it to RRT it seemed like a constant battle of trying to get the talon running right. I was really beginning to lose hope and it was very discouraging. I decided to bring the car to RRT after seeing many successful builds leave RRT. Upon meeting raif/owner we went over the car and he noticed many things right away that could potentially have been hazardous. In a short period of time he got the car on the lift and he fixed everything. Then the car went straight to the dyno. Needless to say, i was very pleased with how successful the car turned out and how they paid attention to detail when working on the car. In other words, my car went from breaking down every ten minutes to driving home with not one issue for a 2 hour drive. This car will not be in the hands of anyone besides RRT.

Also, ryan his shop employee is one of the most respectful, caring and accommodating of any shop i’ve been too. If you have a mitsubishi car of any kind i highly recommend bringing it to RRT for any of your maintenance/ performance needs.

Easily, by far, the single best dyno tuning experience I have ever had as a car guy. Took a ride with my buddy to get his newly acquired EVO 8 dialed in on a simple, mild 20G set-up. The car was last tuned in '08 and the accompanying parts are period-correct. Was expecting an instant hard sale on 'upgraded', modern parts and a list of reasons why the car would not make power as is. Raif came out immediately upon our arrival to greet us and popped the hood straight away. Not even a hint of pretense or sales pressure, he genuinely seemed to enjoy the old school parts and nostalgia of the car. A quick conversation to determine end goals and in less than five minutes, he had the car on the dyno ready for a base pull and calibration. Several pulls later, the car was making big, usable torque at very conservative timing and boost on pump gas. Raif rolled her off the dyno and took her on the street to log and fine tune as necessary. Not only once, but he came back the first time, made a few more adjustments and hit the road AGAIN to finalize the map. The whole ride back, we simply could not believe how easy and smooth the entire visit had been, not to mention how well-mannered the car was at part throttle and decel. Raif and RRT are the real deal, do not hesitate to book your car with him!!!

Excellent place if you own an Evo. Raif is a top notch fellow and the mechanic is good folks too. I'd definitely trust them with the Evo again.

Best guy out there for Evo's, well worth getting on the wait list to know your car is done right. My car won't go to anywhere else.
