Kurt's Mucke's Hot Dogs

I first went here about 5 years ago and loved the delicious chili meat sauce. The mucke dogs are awesome and go down fast. There's something different about these dogs and I always think of this stand when I think of the best I've been to, if you're ever in south west Torrington (or feel like making a special trip) I'd recommend Kurt's, it's a good call. Dogalicious.

Noticed that this stand just off of Rt. 8 got good reviews. Stopped in after an afternoon hike. Ordered a Chili dog with onions and mustard. Pure perfection! Had to order a 2nd one before leaving. If your passing by, you should stop. Easy on, easy off the highway.

Rain,snow,sleet, he will be there serving Muckie steamed hot dogs. You always can eat two.

You have to try this place, Hot Dogs are amazing and great service. Not any place to sit down but delicious hot dogs!

Got dogs? Kurt's does! I like to consider myself an "unofficial sponsor". Whether it's dogs or sausage, regular or spicy, Kurt's is the place to go. All of his toppings, salsa, chili etc is homemade and delicious. Any time I go by his stand during work, I gotta stop. Personally I'd recommend the Fire Dog, but regardless of what you order, you're taste buds will thank you.

I love the chili cheese dog with raw onion and the spicy sausage is great! Everything is great but those are my favorites!

Very good hotdogs, like the best hotdogs. The scenery is amazing, and he's very nice. He has cheap prices compared to the taste. I wish I could give a higher rating, but I can't.

All dogs are great, but some go above and beyond - Kurt's does just that!!! Love the Mucke's hot dogs. Love Kurt's own blended mustard. Relishes, perfect. Kraut as a topper, mighty fine. Worth a trip to Torrington just to get one!!!

No one does dogs like Kurt. Used to walk over every chance we got when mowing the nearby industrial parks. Always delicious hot dogs at a fair price. There's a reason he's been around so long. Good food and great customer service. Can't miss.

High quality hot dogs, done right! Owners Kurt and Pinky are super nice. Chili is homemade and delicious. There's a reason they've been around for 30 years!

Awesome chili & hot relish, everything is always fresh. Kurt is so personable & accommodating & everything is clean! I always go out of my way to stop by there!!

the hot dogs are awesome I have had the chili cheese very delicious and spicy, the bbq onions they are amazing, and the kielbasa with cooked onions that was really good too sells cookies, chips and drinks reasonable price :) thank you

Quick, easy, delicious, has bbq onions and chili. Can't go wrong with Kurt's Mucke's Hot Dog Stand. They even have a few picnic tables.

Stopped by on my way from work and was so happy I did! Got a chili cheese dog and it hit the spot! Not to mention it was Mucke’s which makes it all the better. Delicious.

I go about 3 days a week for my shredded cheese with barbecue onion hot dog. Very friendly people and very clean highly recommend this place. !!!

Kurt's hotdog cart is the best. I all ways get 2 chilly dogs. They are great.

Can't beat a Mucke's and open on a Sunday in the rain. Awesome. Tented you don't have to get wet. Love the bbq onions.
