I've had the pleasure of having dinner here twice. The atmosphere and service are outstanding. The owner will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy.
The menu changes and both times we went there were vegetarian options that the owner/chef made vegan if necessary. The prices are reasonable for what you get. There are some dinner entrees over $25, but you can find something amazing for less than $20. You also get whatever bread-basket type thing they're doing. The first time we went they had popovers good enough to make a basket of those your meal. The second time was chips and homemade salsa.

Excellent experience. Food was just right. Interesting and properly prepared. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. Ali was our server. We had truffle fries and beet salad for our apps. NY strip, Halibut, and Chicken Pasta for entrees. Cocktails well done. Price was appropriate for the offering. Accommodated my service dog with no issues. Thank you!! BTW. Don’t listen to the haters. They are idiots and just plain wrong.

I agree with a prior reviewer - creative geniuses! The food is superb - period. There is attention to every delicious detail, including the hot, steaming popovers to start your meal. And our server was fun and passionate about the food and wine, and the ambiance warm and friendly. This is a destination restaurant of a quality generally found only in the cities. We'll be back and back...

Creative and delicious food at competitive prices. Portions are small but exactly what we were looking for. Two cocktails and two appetizers was $25 during happy hour, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the company of an awesome bartender. Menu rotates frequently (weekly?) and we can't wait to go back and try something new soon!

Some of the best food I've ever had. Gourmet food in a casual setting. The chef and his team are amazing - creative genuises! The staff is super friendly. Our server, Ashlyn, was exceptional. There is a story to each aspect of the restaurant; the chef and his dad renovated the space and rebuilt it together, from the floors to the lights to the tables. Great craft beer selection and yummy cocktails. I really can't say enough god things about it. Go try it! You won't regret it.

My wife had dinner here last night, and I have to tell you, the chef is creative and often just nails it.
We had an appetizer that was called New England clam chowder, but a more apt name would be New England Clam Chowder deconstructed. It was absolutely one of the best appetizers I have had and trust me, I’m old enough to have had my share. The chef took the ingredients of clam chowder-clams, butter, potatoes, etc- and instead of combining them into a traditional hearty soup, separated them to highlight the distinct features of each component-more like a clams casino with potatoes.
Great concept very well executed.
Have to mention one more thing...BLT offered a smoked pork rib special about a week ago. Best ribs I have had since Theodores in Springfield MA. I hope they get back on the menu soon.

We had lunch at BLT on Saturday and everything was great. The service was top notch and the overall feel of the restaurant was casual and friendly. I was with my wife, kids, and parents and we all enjoyed our meals. The calamari and brussel sprout appetizers were delicious and my Cubano sandwich was awesome. My son and wife ate all the buffalo fries so I can't comment, but they loved them. I've saw some reviews about the restaurant being "pricey" but I found the prices reasonable as were the portions. I know I left with a full and happy belly. We'll definitely be going back to check out BLT at dinner time!

Great food & atmosphere. Service at the bar was great!

First of all I almost didn't go there because of the name I thought it was a sandwich shop. I was in downtown New Hartford and there were only 2 restaurants; a pizza place and BLT. The sign on the building says BLT with tiny letters underneath that are not easily seen.

Second of all we were greeted warmly by the owner who was wearing a mask changing the daily menu outside the front door. The menu changes I believe there's a lunch menu and a dinner menu as well as a changing seasonal menu. It reminded me of a farm-to-table restaurant because the menu was limited. My thought was because their menu was small that the food will be very fresh and I was absolutely right.

There were three of us one got a chicken wrap and she said that was delicious. The other two three things that are not discs each other own salad and a mushroom ravioli even the menu didn't give it justice. This was so good all three dishes. Butternut bisque was very tasty not too spicy not too buttery but buttery enough. This salad that I got was quite unique and they allowed me to switch or the vegetables and it turned into delightful colorful and delicious salad with lemon dressing and I ate every last night it was so good.

Neal was outstanding and it was like a mushroom alfredo sauce with fresh herbes ricotta ravioli. We could not stop saying how delicious the homie I was.

The prices were cro3 from what you're getting homemade fresh cooked food. See must have a very highly experienced Chef there who creates these beautiful recipes and prepares them with a beautiful presentation.

The service was excellent. From the beginning to the end. As I said the owner greeted us and the server made sure we got seated in a place that we liked because it was chilly out and the heaters strategically-placed and I have to say that the staff was very accommodating. All the staff were following social distancing guidelines with masks and tables spaced properly. I observed them sanitizing the tables and the chair handles according to the proper standards for this pandemic. We ate outside but it was almost too chilly to eat outside but we could have gone inside where there was enough seating and tables based as well. The patio was also a nice area with flowers and a street view.

The server was excellent that we had and she timed the food out perfectly between the soup the salad and the entree. She was quite attentive to detail and made our experience a great one. This is not the place to go if you're in a hurry because everything is made fresh to order and it does take a little bit longer but I'm telling you it's worth the wait the food was so good you will not be disappointed no matter what you choose on the menu.

I hope you will stop in at BLT if you go through beautiful New Hartford in beautiful Connecticut especially during the fall. I am hoping that this restaurant is able to weather the pandemic and come out on top! In the meantime if you feel like taking a ride anytime to make BLT your destination for lunch or dinner I would highly recommend it.

The atmosphere is lovely and the service is impeccable. After a few visits I've not been disappointed in any of the dishes. The chef is very capable and I look forward to coming back to try an ever changing menu. Price-wise you absolutely get what you pay for and I've added BLT to my rotation in the NW corner!

Love, love, love this place. Gourmet food cooked with love, in a familial atmosphere, professional staff (who knows you by name) and creative cocktails mixed to perfection. How could you go wrong? Ashley( our waitress) welcomes us with a big smile and infinite patience for our many requests. Jim never fails to impress us with his talent. Last weekend we called the last minute and asked for a tasting menu for a small group (with many food restrictions) and the meal was delicious and Instagram worthy #GoBLTNewHartford

I have lived in the Farmington Valley for over 40 years. I have seen restaurants come and go. I can count on 1 hand the ones that have been remarkable. BLT is the newest one to add....to the TOP of my list. WHY did it take me so LONG to discover this place???? I read one bad review after it first opened and let that color my opinion. Had THE BEST meal ever yesterday. The unusual menu items caught our eye. Had the Gen Tsao Cauliflower, the T-Bone steak with a great twist on veggies, the Shrimp Scampi, the Beignets and the Apple Crisp. OH....my....God......EVERYTHING was over the top. Cannot wait to go back. The wine selection we made was the best Chardonnay I have had in a while. DO give this place a try. I am still dreaming of our dinner this morning.....

Went there with my son and my husband after a big snow storm last week. My biggest impression for that place was the excellent service from the waitress. The food also tasted very good. We will definitely come back!

Good food great service. Hostess was great. Sat at the high top tables in the back room. Great spot. Chicken marsala was awesome. Loved the brussel sprouts appetizer . Waitress was also bar tending. I highly recommended this restaurant

Second time here, and boy are we glad we came back. Food is so good. The mix of flavors textures presentation not what you would expect in new Hartford. This has the potential of being a destination restaurant.

Have been there many times. The food is always wonderfully creative and prepared perfectly. Menu changes monthly, great idea. Can’t wait to see what’s on the next months menu, it’s always a pleasant surprise.

Delicious - hubs and I are both vegetarians, but BLT had some delicious options for us - my favorite - Brussels sprouts (they made them for us without the bacon). With a sort of maple reduction. We'll be back!

Am investing assortment of small plate and meal options. The owner and chef creates a varied weekly menu based on market offerings. He also is very accommodating in altering the food to meet your needs.

Awesome apps & tasty drinks - creative menu with a warm atmosphere to boot. And the popovers are simply to die for! Will certainly be back again.

Very good. General Tso's cauliflower is outstanding. Waitstaff was attentive and aware of our needs. We will be back.
