Sophia's Pizza Restaurant

Just took a bite out of the pizza and it was immaculate. As soon as we opened the box I knew that this was different. The dough was perfectly crispy. The sauce was good. The cheese was perfect. The quality has improved immensely, I am hoping they will continue making their pizza this delicious!

Found this place on way home from skiing and it was such a great find! Food was great and the service was awesome! If we travel thru again we will definitely stop again!

Amazing restaurant!! Great pizza, garlic bread with cheese and mozzerella sticks. Don’t get the salmon salad.

Been coming here for years. They have my favorite pizza and garlic bread with cheese. The chicken parmesan is great as well as the lasagne.

We love the Chicken Gargonzola, Fettuccine Alfredo, Sausage Grinder, Egg Plant Grindet, Chicken Ceasar Wrap, The Combo Plate, and the Salads are always fresh!

Excellent chicken parm, lasagna and grinders. Good portions.

Pizza was delicious staff was very friendly

I wish I had taken a picture to share. The food was so good I didn’t even think to take one.

My husband and I started with the salads that came with our meals. The house creamy and regular Italian dressings were really great. The peppers on the salad were sliced super thin. All the veggies in the salad were crisp cold and delicious.

Next we ordered 6 Buffalo wings extra crispy. The sauce was nicely spicy and they came out hot and perfectly cooked. Yum!

Finally came our entrees. He has the steak surf and turf cooked medium which he enjoyed. I ordered the shrimp and scallops scampi with angel hair. It was hands down the best scampi I’ve had in a long time. The scallops…. Cooked PERFECT! Plenty of nice big shrimp. The sauce was really good and it had lots of capers on it… my favorite. Not to mention the angel hair was also cooked perfect…. Soft but not mushy or stuck together.

I was skeptical based on the appearance of the place, but boy was I pleasantly surprised!! If I had only one suggestion it would be to turn the temp of the white wine fridge down as it wasn’t cold enough, but a little ice fixed that for me.

Nothing but 5 stars, nice home cooked meals, me and my girl enjoyed a cheese steak panini with crispy golden fries. Then to top it off, a delicious slice of Greek pie that I can't remember the name of.

I used to visit Sophia's Pizza Restaurant often when we lived in Connecticut for many years. We've now moved far away to another state, but we were back recently visiting our friends in Barkhamsted. So, I took the opportunity to meet a friend for dinner here. It's every much the wonderful place I recall from the past. The food and service is great and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back again some day!

My family and I really enjoyed visiting Sophia's Pizza. The food was delicious and the portions were more than generous. Even the two children's meals could have easily satisfied one adult a piece. The decor isn't overly formal, but it is very clean and the staff is friendly. I hope we get a chance to come back soon.

Great service! Awesome food!! We ordered 2 of the specials and shared them. My steak was cooked perfectly! Seafood Casserole was amazing!! Oh, it was my first time there so I'll definitely go back!!!!

I love their pizza. Service is always friendly. I don’t know where they get their cheesecake but it’s the best! I’m usually not a fan of cheesecake because it’s too rich but this recipe is so light and fluffy it’s heavenly! Highly recommended ♥

Fantastic. We absolutely love Sophia's. Thursdays are pizza day and it isn't officially pizza day without a large mushroom and large Greek salad from Sophia's. It's been great for as long as I can remember. Keep it going!!

I was running (not literally) late yesterday so decided to call for take-out and Sophia's was my choice. Well from the chef salad to the steak dinner with a side of wings this was the BEST take-out in a long time from the restaurants we use! :)

Great food and a great staff. Tasty pasta sauce, delicious pizza, and excellent service. Having the owner on site makes a difference!

Easily the best penne a la vodka I've ever had and I keep coming back for it over and over again. My wife is in love with the broccoli cheese stuffed chicken, and she's right too!

Great food the Chicken Marsal was delicious. The waitress was very nice they do need more help though. Would go back foe sure
