One of the "hidden gems" of this part of Connecticut, Rockwell Park is a favorite location to see a wide variety of scenery in a reasonable walk. Pretty pond, stone tower, boardwalk through the pond, and amphitheater. An extensive playground, splash pad, and skatepark make this a well rounded park for children and adults of all ages.

The Pequabuck River level is high and racing with all the rain we've had and the fall leaves are beautiful as you walk through the park. Saw a heron (?) at the back pond today.

We went to visit the splash pad today and it was so refreshing for the kids.

The benches for parents are set far enough apart and the kids are in a enclosed area with high visibility and very easy to monitor.

Very clean and well kept. Great place to take the kiddos to cool off in the summer.

I am truly in awe of the lifeguards here. I go to this place often, and always see attentive workers stationed by the pools. One specific time, I was playing in the pool by myself and accidentally made it seem as if I was drowning (I get carried away when I’m in the pool!) and one of the lifeguards, Hanna I believe to be her name, called out to me and said “Miss, are you okay?” It was very good to hear her concern, and I appreciated her concern for me. Highly recommended this place, and Hanna the lifeguard!

What a beautiful place! Many walking and hiking paths. Variety of activities for different levels of physical needs.
Many beautiful stone historic buildings and structures. Park includes playground, pool, skate park, basketball, tennis, disc golf and fishing in the Pequabuck river. Great place for shady picnics. Awesome location right next to the great Muzzy field, home of the Bristol Blues. Strongly recommend this park, best in Bristol!

This is my time of year to be "outdoors" and sightsee. I found this park and took advantage of it not being so crowded as it would be in warmer months. I walked along the water and sat relaxing by the gazebo. For me it was a perfect day.

It's a nice place to take in some scenery, nature, and get some exercise. The park offers a lot; Frisbee golf, fishing, fitness stations and just nice quiet places to sit. The grounds are kept nice and it makes Bristol a good town to be in.

A fun park for all ages! The playground has a section suitable for kids ages 2-5 and another section for kids ages 5-12ish. They also have a “splash zone?” that is super fun for the kids to play in and it’s open June - September. The park is stroller-friendly (plenty of paved road) which is a huge plus. There’s also a stream you can walk down to (my toddler loves throwing rocks into it) and a running track throughout the whole park. It’s definitely one of our favorite places to be!

Love this park. I grew up in Bristol so i have a lifetime of great memories here. Decent playground, swimming pool/slash pad, skate park,basketball/volley ball courts, horseshoe pits and walking/hiking trails. I almost forgot...a couple small ponds to fish for the little ones and a river as well.
