Berkshire Country Store

Open parking lot no need to grab the ones as you turn in. The coffee and tea is excellent. Open and airy inside with sofa tables soft arm chairs. Breakfast sandwiches, dozens of lunch choices and many sundry items like cards, ceramics, candy etc. Restrooms in store to right as you walk in. Definitely a must stop.

Berkshire has great food with a friendly atmosphere. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch items, plus gluten free rolls and bread. They also have a selection of fresh baked goods from a local bakery, plus other interesting local items for sale.

Cute country store with amazing food. I have gotten a bunch of sandwiches here and they have all been really good. Cookies and baked goods are also awesome. You can eat on the stone wall outside overlooking Haystack Mountain. They do call ahead orders, which I would highly recommend.

Warm and welcoming!

This is great place to pick up a bagel and hot coffee when heading out in the morning or a sandwich for lunch. Often I just nurse my coffee in the winter looking at the beautiful snowcapped hills. The dining room feels warm and welcoming.

Just had a delightful lunch at the Berkshire Country Store! Great food, staff, and ambiance.

This quaint and personable store has a few seats for dining while enjoying the view of Norfolk center. Locals drop by for coffee while travelers can buy a souvenir or two. The staff are friendly and the deli sandwiches are tasty. I recommend dropping by if you happen to be between the upper and lower turns in the center of Norfolk. Don't blink, though, because you might miss it.

Awesome place. Stopped here to take a work meeting while I was driving. Everyone was super friendly, and the vibes makes you want to live in a small town. Respect to the creativity of their wifi password.

We stopped here after a hike at Cambell Falls. The sandwich was YUMMY and the staff was lovely . So many options and some great art for sale . We will definitely come back .

Love this place for both a quick easy lunch and/or for lingering and getting work done. Wifi was fast and never cut out even with my bazillion tabs, and they have convenient outlets and clean workspaces, and plenty of space and seating for rushes. I might be a little obsessed with their Caesar wrap, which does NOT skimp on the chicken. And I was really happy to find oat milk in use at the espresso machine - my latte was great too.

For $3 more get a 12 inch, it's enough for two. Delicious food, friendly staff and great view

Didn't expect to find this gem today. Was out riding in the Berkshires and on our way home, planned to stop at Wood Creek Tavern but they were closed to cater an event. Wandered in for the restrooms and saw the great menu posted and how bright and spotless it was. Convinced the guys we needed to stay and eat. They enjoyed their burgers I had a grilled chicken with bacon and their delicious maple mayo (which they should package and sell). With such a great menu selection it was hard to choose! The prices were great and the food was delivered fast and great quality. Will definitely stop in again!

Very friendly staff in an adorable country store. Stopped in after a hike at Campbell Falls and was famished! Had the Honey Moo Moo sandwich was delicious as was the pasta salad (if you love onions which I do)! My husband got the onion rings which were crisp and a roast beef special which was good too! Will definitely try to come back on our way out of town tomorrow!

We ordered 2 wraps For take out . We Were waiting in front of the building in the car and we had curbside. she was very nice . Now mine was a tex max Wrap , my bf was Kicken Chicken . Both are excellent! Exceeded our expectations and we Certainly will be going back for more !

Always make a point to stop by when visiting the area. Savory breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The grill cooks up b'fast items with fresh eggs and crispy bacon. Lunch sandwiches have a healthy amount of meat with good bread. Five stars for this friendly little gem.

The Berkshire Country Store is a great choice for a coffee or sandwich in the adorable Berkshires foothills town of Norfolk, CT. Located just off Route 44 in Norfolk Center, the store has tasty sandwiches and soups, an excellent selection of coffees and a friendly staff waiting to serve you. They also feature an adjoining grocery store with a nice selection of natural foods, grocery essentials, and all of the coffee mugs and t-shirts you will need from your visit to the town that is called "The Icebox of Connecticut" for it's fresh cool air and mountain views. Check out the Norfolk Artisan's Guild across the street, the Norfolk Library and the Yale Summer Music School while you are in town.

This eating cafe and store is a "Gem" for the North West CT. area. It is an historic well-known meeting spot for as long as all remember! You will also see a mini-transportation(motorcycle) museum inside,antiques,the original Coca-Cola and yes,Pepsi long original,bottles to enjoy,like the "old" days. You will see a rare Porsche "S"bicycle and Hawthorne Rollfast motor bike making occasional visits here and local famous celebrities eat here? They will please your appetite,and visit.Well worth the stop here.

I stopped by today with my family, and had an early lunch. Met the owner Ryan who was sitting at the counter and chatted it up with him for a while. Nice guy, good food and service. Good coffee. Real friendly place.

Beautiful new store! It's so nice to have a store so close again! Everything from staples like milk and bread, to deli sandwiches, ice cream, & locally sourced items. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!

Great little gem in Norfolk! We are weekenders who love this spot for last min groceries, coffee, and quick bites! I love that they also support local businesses in Norfolk!
