We had a really nice experience today with Dave helping us look at sofas. He offered us a really nice discount that we technically were not even eligible for. He also answered our questions more thoroughly than I thought possible given the amount of furniture in the showroom. We did not buy anything today but will definitely be back because the experience was so positive!

We bought a recliner a few months back. Dave was great to deal with....I even had to go back the next day to change the order to include the rocker feature to the recliner and it was no issues. The delivery guys were on time and very polite....showing me how the back of the chair is removable. They put the old chair outside in the back of the house for me. We'll be back for sure when we need anything else!

From purchase to delivery and setup, the service was wonderful. Very knowledgeable without being pushy. Extremely professional. The experience has made purchasing local we'll worth it!

Looks are definitely deceiving here. Once inside, not only are you greeted with a warm welcome, you will also see a unexpected large selection of furniture. The place is well laid out and has great sales people. We were given a fair price and treated with kindness. Well worth a visit.

We had a great experience. My husband and I have been waiting a long time to finally get a Recliner. We wanted one that we could enjoy for years to come. We decided to go look here instead of going to a big furniture store. Shop local! So glad we went here. Selection was great with many styles. Professional and friendly help. They wrapped it up for us and helped load it in our vehicle. Highly recommend!

This may be a bit long winded, but I went to Southworth's to shop for some new furniture. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived! This is amazing gem of a furniture store. The showrooms are fully stocked and get this, you are FREE to roam around the store without someone hovering over you while you shop. Questions are answered swiftly, assistance is offered but not pushed on you! The selections are endless and the team's knowledge of their offerings is extensive.

I ended up purchasing a Couch with recliners at each end and two chairs. Due to COVID and supply chain issues, the chairs took a wee-bit longer than expected; but I was always kept up to date.

I cannot express my gratitude to the delivery team. These men delivered my furniture in two deliveries because the couch arrived before the chairs. Each time they came into my home, they made me feel as though I was their only client that day. Their focus was placing the furniture carefully in their intended places with my full satisfaction. I live in a town house, there was not ONE complaint about the amount of stairs I have.

If you need a new furniture or even if you just want a bit of an upgrade..... take the extra drive to Torrington, you will NOT be disappointed.

My wife and I went in looking for a living room set. The sales room is much bigger than it looks from the outside. They have a huge selection of all types of furniture. We were able to buy the perfect set and special ordered it with fabric of our choosing. The entire process from start to finish was fantastic. Even the delivery drivers were very pleasant and professional. Truly one of the best purchasing experiences from start to finish

If you know you need some pieces for your home but don't have a lot of clarity about your favored aesthetics or style, Southworth's is an awesome place to browse. The shape of the store has an uncanny effect; it seems much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, and the showrooms are loaded with eclectic pieces that are sturdy, beautiful, and reasonably priced. You'll find lots of things you didn't know you needed! You could lose a few hours here making choices about furniture and quirky lamps. The staff are happy to help too. Really fun hidden gem of a local business.

I've bought multiple pieces of furniture from here over time and all of it has been good quality. I like going here because I think they have a cozy setup, the people are nice and everything on display is buyable.

I got a very nice recliner here. Price was higher than local stores with cheap furniture and well worth the price. You won't get this quality and a guarantee with the cheap stuff. My recliner is really comfortable, I'm very happy with it.

I'm crazy about this place, and wish I had come in years ago. I really like the selection they have. I found the perfect dining room set and sofa for my house and they look fantastic. When they were delivered, the old stuff was taken away at no charge! And the price cannot be beat. They guys there are just wonderful; amazingly flexible and helpful. I cannot wait to go back, not only to look for the next furniture upgrade, but also just to say "hi" to these great people!
