My husband came in after he was let down by another dentist he had seen for the past handful of years. After failed fillings, root canals, and poor cleanings it was time to find another option. Dr.Parekh has been nothing short of wonderful. He is knowledgeable and truly cared about what was best for his short-term and long-term care goals. We are grateful to say the least!

Had to do 2 root canals with the first I was super nervous as I never had one before but dr. Nirav Parekh assured me I would be and in no pain whatsoever I didn’t believe him as I always heard horror stories BUT let me tell you I felt absolutely NOTHING not even the needles to numb he was absolutely FANTASTIC came to get a second root canal and it was breeze I wasn’t scared I trusted him and knew he wouldn’t let me feel no pain just as promised! Highly recommend he is the BEST there is! The staff is great too absolutely love them <3

I have only been a patient at Horizon Dental for a few months, and in those short months Dr. Parekh has shown me more care in one appointment than I have received in years at other offices. I have never felt more cared for by a dentist. He was very understanding of my concerns and worked with me to help understand all my options. From the care he has shown me, I believe that he looks at me as a person, not just a patient. From what I have seen, Dr. Parekh is well liked by his staff, and he treats his staff with respect that they all so deserve. I recently saw Dr. Modi for a procedure that I was dreading. Dr. Modi validated my feelings and though I was his last patient of what I'm sure was a long day, he was never rushed and anwsered all my many questions politely. In the following days after my procedure, I experienced almost no pain and the healing process was a breeze! I have had encounters with a few dental assistants, all were wonderful. Mostly, I have be fortunate enough to have Bryan, almost ever visit. I am always so happy to see him. He is excellent at his job and is so, so personable. The staff in reception are absolutely delightful. They always great me with warm smiles and polite conversations. I look forward to seeing them every visit! I just adore them. Overall, I could not recommend Horizon Dental enough. If you are looking for a GOOD dentist, this is where you need to go!

I had allot of work done. I was really nervous but I was put at ease because a plan was put in place and explained to me very clearly. Any questions I had were answered. Of course number one thing for me was no pain.

As a new patient I thought it was going to be promising, I like the tvs in the rooms however they don’t have a clue what direction they are going in! They make appointments that don’t exist and then expect you to sit around! The surgeon looks like an overwhelmed moron that’s in over his head! Why schedule appointments if they don’t follow it! They can’t keep organized so I refuse to trust them to any work to me at all!! What a joke! I had an 11:15 today and when I got there she told me they don’t schedule by 1/4 hours! But it was on my card then they said he was behind and couldn’t give an a time estimate after 90 minutes I walked out! 10 out of 10 NOT RECOMMENDED

I’ve been going to this dentist for 3 years. When I first arrived to the doctor the state of my teeth were far from where I wanted- needed- to be. It caused me SO much insecurity and it effected my life constantly (from not wanting to smile to having trouble eating and even drinking to constant pain). It was just as important to the doctor and staff to fix my smile as it was to me (especially since I’m not even 30). Unfortunately, I’m moving across the country and one of the worst parts is losing access to the few doctors and places like this that I have found over the years that I feel actually care. Not only were all the dental assistants and even the receptionists always SO kind and helpful, the doctor constantly was helping me in any way he could from dealing with annoying insurance issues (state), making sure any treatments not covered by insurance were affordable as possible for someone who didn’t have too much, answering any questions or issues I had, to making me extremely comfortable and very happy with my results. Here to say after these 3 years my quality of life and smile are absolutely worlds better and I’m very grateful for finding professionals who not only restored my smile but restored my faith in dentists after a lot of really negative experiences. I even had my mom start her restorative process this past year and her results have infinitely changed her life. Definitely recommend to everyone!

i had the best experience here. i had a crooked tooth in the back of my mouth that was pushing on another tooth, causing a serious cavity that needed a root canal. i went to one place before here when i was in a lot of pain and they weren’t able to help, so i went to horizon dental, and they did everything possible to help me with this. they got me antibiotics to help with the pain, scheduled me for a root canal as soon as they could, and even recommended me an incredible orthodontist for my wisdom teeth removal. not to mention everyone here is so kind and willing to help, i highly recommend coming here for any dental issues, or even if you’re just looking for a dentist in general.

Exceptionally friendly, competent, capable, and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Nick is nothing like his namesake from The Simpson's, and is incredibly adroit, amicable, and is an all around a great dentist. He'll go out of his way to convince insurance providers that your procedure is necessary and should be covered, even if they don't normally do so. He managed to get my provider to pay for two crowns that I desperately needed, that they didn't want to pay for. Dr. Nick Modi saved me over $1000. DO NOT listen to the negative reviews on this site. As a denizen of Torrington, and someone who is painfully aware of the intolerant nature of the often ignorant and undereducated populace, I suspect much of the vitriol and discontent towards this particular dental office found online (You know... the single star reviews with limited information and atrocious grammar) stems from the fact that the dentist and oral surgeon are of Indian descent, and the dental hygienists are primarily hispanic, and is little more than general intolerance, and overt small-town racism... which sadly is quite pervasive in this area. Seriously though, they're far and away, the best dentist office in town.
