My sister and I went here on NYE 2023. We loved the menu. Everything we got was delicious! The soup and the ravioli I for had black truffle and it was delicious!! My sister got their classic pistachio crusted salmon. She’s ordered it before and really liked it. She also got the beet salad that looked so pretty. I’m excited to go back.

The absolute best sushi by far in our area. Also has a varied and extensive menu so that all of your guests will have choices.

You have a real feel when you're here that this is the community place to eat and socialize. A real one of a kind restaurant and a must visit when in NWCT.

Wow, pleasant surprise! Tough to get a table but I can see why. Food was perfect. They know what they are doing. Service was warm. Food this good is rare these days. Do yourself a favor and go.

Great Food, excellent service. Highly recommended reservations days in advance. Never had a bad experience, in the years since I started going here. Usually I’m in the area 4x a year. Always my go to for a enjoyable meal. Keep up the amazing job!!

My first time visiting CT. Loved having a dinner there. Nice staffs and great food. I was very satisfied with my appetizer and main dish choices. Price was reasonable. When I got there, there were so many people that finding a parking spot was a challenging. Make sure to make a reservation before you head to the restaurant!

I will admit that my expectations hovered around lukewarm when I saw the menu online. An extensive New American-type menu with a sushi menu longer than half a page? I'm an Asian-American in hospitality. Eyebrows were raised.

But guess what? I was humbled by this restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We had the truffle fries (thin and crispy fries), a sashimi special (most likely hamachi if I'm remembering correctly), skirt steak with Vietnamese-style herbs and potatoes, and the mozzarella ravioli with corn and mushrooms. Everything was fantastic, but I would have loved a light fish sauce dressing on the herbs.

Dinner gets busy. Thursday night and every table was full. Sat at the bar and even that was completely full. Interesting crowd though. The older ladies next to me (meeting for the first time) were discussing conservative politics while a younger woman was explaining to another why she's obsessed with anything and everything French. Some diners seemed to be regulars, so that's nice to see in an area like this.

The key lime pie was top tier. But by then I had several drinks and had the meat sweats. So worth it.

High quality food. Relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I were seated in the high top in the bar area. Wasn't exactly what we were looking for as it was a busy Friday night but it turned out to be a great experience. Lots of drink options. Make sure to book a table!

Menu offered up some delicious choices! I settled on the New England Chowder and filet…it was spot on! The atmosphere, food and service is a must go for me! I’d go back!

Came for my dad’s birthday while visiting in the area by recommendation and was not disappointed! Vast menu that consisted of both their staple menu and their specials for the day. Made for difficult decisions because truly everything looked unique and interesting. I ended up with the honey glazed seared tuna of the day with a pickled citrus salad and it was incredible. Everybody else’s order was fantastic: soft shell crabs, burger, and sushi. They even brought out a slice of their decadent coconut cream pie for my dad’s birthday while singing happy birthday—so sweet!

Had the spicy tuna roll, wedge salad and the sole. Best of everything!!

Brandon is an artist! He was my wedding caterer & I was beyond thrilled to find he was the new owner at Woodland. With him at the helm, this hidden gem is worth the trip if you're in Litchfield County!

By far the best restaurant in Lakeville. Staff is always kind and attentive, the the patrons friendly. My favorite dish is the Charred Steak appetizer. The dipping sauce is fantastic.

First time eating here. We were bringing our son back to salisbury school after watching an away hockey game and stopped in. They were nearly full but could accommodate us if we were quick.

Our dinners ranged from a burger, chicken parm, and a braised short rib special. All were excellent.

Nice atmosphere and efficient friendly service. Overall a very pleasant experience. We will be sure to come back, but with a reservation next time!

The best kept secret of the NWC. I traveled the world going to restaurants and I can honestly say this is consistently the best food I’ve ever had. The menu is constantly changing with no specific genre of cuisine. Weather it be Hispanic, Asian, middle eastern, American or French food.... the dishes they put out are the best versions of them I’ve had. Ive never had a bad meal here. Staff is awesome. Drinks are great. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic evening meal at Woodland. The staff was extremely friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean with cozy and inviting decor.

I ordered the vegetable stir fry with chicken, and my girlfriend ordered the veal Parmesan.

We were impressed by the range of options on the menu and we will definitely be back!

A lovely cozy evening atmosphere with good wines and a very varied menu from sushi to pasta. Always a nice atmosphere.

A friend took me here for my birthday lunch and it was great. I had the sliced tuna (sushi style) and it was delicous. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their choices as well. We sat in one of the booths in the dining room and it was lively, but not too noisy. Casual, local, cozy....worth going to for sure. Look forward to taking my husband back with me. 💕

The Woodland has been one of my favorite restaurants and I am so glad I stopped in a few years ago. Great food and presentation, delightful wine and beer list, very good cocktails, thoughtful staff. Excellent rotating menu selection. The food is consistently good. Did I mention they have the best sushi and sashimi I have ever had? I love their kale and cabbage salad and I don't even like kale.
