Going to this dentist is always so relaxing! Yes relaxing! With every room a different nature-quiet, calming videos playing, either of birds or waterfalls or something beautiful, I always feel relaxed. The hygienist is just talkative enough to feel like you have know her for ages. The Dentist himself, is always kind and says thank you. Though I have only needed cleanings so far, I know when I need more, I will be relaxed enough to not be stressed.I’m glad I found you!

A pleasant dentist's office. There are lots of nice calming things around. Videos of nature in all the rooms. Kids paintings on the ceiling tiles. A lot of attention has gone into putting people who may have anxiety at ease. Definitely affordable too. Staff are kind and attentive. The doctor talks a little fast, but if you go in knowing that, he's easy enough to keep up with.

This was our first visit. Though the outside of the beautiful victorian house the office is in needs a landscape crew to clean up weeds, which initially made me skeptical, once I opened the doors, all concerns were immediately to put rest. All the photography and video screens of relaxing images, waterfalls, birds, fish, etc... calmed my entire being.. The person at the desk greeted me warmly, masked-thankfully, and gave me the necessary paperwork. As I filled it out, the hygienist assigned to me collected parts of it to start the process of entering my data. I like efficiency!
Then when I was directed into to chair, and the cleaning and X-rays were started and completed, any concerns I had with starting with a new dental office were dissipated. Laurie was AWESOME. Thoughtful, knowledgeable, careful, thorough, gentle, professional, and efficient. The tools were new technology, which made my experience even more calming. Dr John was nice though I didn't need him on this visit, I can't imagine that he will not be just as good as his hygienists!
I am so glad I found a new dentist!!

Another great dental cleaning appointment! Highly recommend going here! Jess was awesome and even made my toddler feel comfortable while she waited during my appointment with me. Teeth feel squeaky clean!

I've been going for about four years now to this Dentist office. They are generally very personable and not judgey. One of the reasons prior to visiting I stopped going was my old dental office. All of their hygienist have been professional but do their best to make you feel comfortable. If you haven't gone to a dentist in awhile this is a good place to go, they won't make you feel bad for making a poor judgment call.

They have a plan if you don't have insurance that allows you to get two cleaning a year, an x-ray and exam and emergency visit for about 350 (I think). Very good deal if you don't have insurance.

I filled My Paperwork out, and was taken right in. The office was clean & well run. All of the staff was friendly. My Hygienist was attentive, kind & did a great job on My Cleaning! Got me in quickly, same day. Staff was knowledgeable very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Normally i am anxious at the dentist but the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was so friendly and explained everything she was doing. I dont have insurance and I was given an affordable reasonable rate for today. I will definitely be using northwestern dental for all my dental needs.

I was very pleased with my experience at Northwestern Dental. I recently moved to the area and needed to switch my dentist office. From scheduling my first appointment through the completion of that first visit, I felt welcome and appreciated. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to my next appointment!

Highly professional, kind, pleasant, and very friendly. The dental hygienist was wonderful and the exam was comprehensive. It was a relaxing experience, the doctor was excellent, and a treatment plan was set up. I was very happy with the visit.

Northwestern Dental is an amazing place to go for dental care. Everyone was so friendly and they were fast and efficient. They were recommended to me by my boyfriend and now we have an appointment to bring our daughter for her very first dentist appointment. I’m glad she will have a bunch of friendly faces waiting for her when she comes. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a cleaning or any dental work.

My last dental experience was horrible, so I was apprehensive to visit a new dentist. Northwestern Dental made everything wonderful. The hygienist, Britt, was the nicest I've ever had and so thorough. Dr. Tom was great as well. I can see why my 15 yr old son was asking me about when his next appointment was happily vs. avoidently. Super place!

I am very afraid of dentists because of past experiences BUT this office is AMAZING!!! They were very patient and very verbally interactive with me... Dr Preston, she ROCKS! Trish was so kind and funny! Rita is so helpful with getting the best choices I needed to make for future appointments. Their office is soothing with the big screen TVs with mesmerizing ocean series on them. I could put my earbuds in if I wanted and listed to my audio book if I wanted... they encourage it!!! I want to THANK ALL THE STAFF for making my experience the BEST I’ve ever had!!!!! I can’t wait to go back honestly!!!!?

I have a built in fear of Dental work because of childhood experiences.
Dr. Scarpelli is the only dentist I have ever been comfortable with. I trust him almost enough to like going to see him!
I hope he never retires.
The staff is also attentive and personable.
I would not consider going elsewhere!

They are absolutely amazing!!! Especially with children! My daughter at only 14 was very nervous going in to get work done and they made her forget she was even getting work done. I don’t mean they drugged her they just made her feel right at home!!

I was unfortunate enough to break a tooth on a Monday night.
By Tuesday morning at 8:30, I had an emergency appointment at Northwest Dental for 11am.
I wasn’t even their patient and they got me in!!!
I was leaving fir a trip out of the country on Saturday so I had to have it repaired in some fashion immediately.
They made an appointment fir me to get a temporary crown cut and fitted on Wednesday.
Amazing!!!!!
I may never go back to my old dentist.

Excellent practice, I felt comfortable and very well cared for. They were very understanding of my needs. Attentive staff and friendly and funny dentist. I would highly recommend!

Very pleased with the service I received today. Had a problem with an old filling, but Dr. Dannon made the time to see me right away and diagnose the problem. Was very appreciative that I was able to get the appointment on very short notice.

My first visit with NW Dental. I had such a great experience from the receptionist, Whitney, to my hygienist, Kim. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Dannon was great as well. I’m very fortunate to have found this practice.

The offices and treatment rooms are amazing. Clean, calming.
I admit I haven't been to the Dentist in a while. No one chastised me for this. So far all of my procedures have been comfortable, and I was told beforehand if something might be uncomfortable.

I had a crown fall off, and catie stayed after hours and drove all the way to Canaan from Winsted to make a temporary crown and Put it on for me! I can’t thank her or Dr Dannon enough for getting me out of a tough bind on that! Great place with a dedicated team!
