Eagles Nest

I stopped here with my Wife for quick breakfast. We parked behind, there are little parking lot there. Place was pretty busy.

We were greeted nicely by staff. Was few minutes wait, it was worth it. Food was good. My Wife got eggs and steak, I got same thing plus omelet with chocolate milk. Steak was cooked really good. Omelet and eggs were good too.
Staff was very nice.

Definitely recommend 👌

I love going here with my family several times. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very nice and staff is very kind and friendly.
I also love the artwork and carvings throughout the restaurant.

I would love to see them close on Sunday or
Monday, so the restaurant and all of the people can get a rest as they are working very hard.

Can’t wait to go back.

All of the family and employees are so polite! They always take great care of us! All of the food is so delicious. They offer breakfast and lunch specials to switch things up! And I love all their soups! One time I asked for a specific soup and they made it a few days later!

We got a big round table with some friends in the back corner. We loved the Senior special ❤. It was the perfect 👌. Thank you so much. It was our first time there. 2/18/24

I do not leave a review for every place I try!! Either I have not eaten there, or I was severely disappointed. With that said: I have been searching for a breakfast place that serves biscuits with homemade sausage gravy for a long time. There aren’t many breakfast places that serve it. Some serve it on the weekends only, and some make a failed attempt to dress it up like it’s a vogue magazine:
and it just sucks.
BUT WAIT!!!!!
Take a look at the picture and see for yourself. this is, hands-down, the best biscuits with sausage gravy I have ever had in CT!!!! In my area, there were five contenders, and this one blew everybody out of the water.!!!! Also, check out the home fries!! Not a soggy mess where they’re boiled first and then fried. Basic with onions, solid WINNER - without an exaggerated pretentiousness (-had to 🤣) The eggs tasted amazing! I call this dish a trifecta of home cooking! And it was only $14.77!!!! It was worth every penny. The owner took my plate and turned it so I would not stick my sleeve in the gravy!! I wish I caught that on ‘film’ !! 🤠 They have been open for 16 years. April 4 is their anniversary date. After the plate was put in front of me and moved to its proper place, The chef, a family member, came forward and said, “I’ve been making this for 30 years!” WOW!!!!! The food came out quick. The locals were just amazing and friendly. If you park in the back you have to approach the building on the left but make sure no one is driving out otherwise there is a lot of parking in the back. GO! GO! GO! GO! ☮☮☮☮☮

A co-worker recommended Eagles Nest to me a few weeks back and I decided to give it a try. I am a big fan of the basics. I ordered two eggs , sunny side up, with home fries, bacon and toast.
I left three stars under food simply because the food I ordered was basic, dont let that lead you to believe that it was anything less than Yummy ! Sunny side up eggs are not the easiest eggs to cook, but the cook at Eagles Nest nailed it leaving no yucky clear stuff on my egg. The bacon was crispy just a bit on the dry side, and the home fries were delicious. I will definitely be returning periodically.

This place NEVER disappoints!!!
The food is always cook exactly how I ask and is always amazing.
The service is fast and the servers are super friendly every time we come.
I live 15 mins away out of town and will always make this my to go place.

Great and fast service. Awesome staff!!! - side story...my husband left behind his wedding band at our table and one of the waitresses found it and ran his ring out to us (she even stopped cars from leaving just to make sure we got it back)! Now that's good service and a staff that cares 🥺❤

I ordered a bacon and cheddar omelet and side of French toast and they were excellent 😋

This is a real gem for breakfast/lunch dining. It appeared to be family-runI had breakfast (typical pancake, eggs, bacon and sausage) and tea. My sister had and absolutely divine BLT....Wow!!! There was a constant flow of diners in and out with everyone smiling. The out goers had big smiles fueled by excellent food, and the in comers smiled because they knew why the out goers were smiling! As we left with our HUGE smiles, people coming across the parking laughed and knowingly said, "First Time?" One way or another, we will be back.

I had the Biscuits and gravy with home fries. It is the best Biscuits and gravy I've ever had in my life. The family that owns it is very sweet and makes you feel like you are family when you are there. I was on crutches from my surgery and the older woman that works there was very sweet and held the door making sure I was ok. I highly reccomend this local gem 💜

A must try this family run restaurant where you can get great tasting meals for affordable prices . They greet everyone with a warm smile and the servers are friendly and polite. We had the steak and egg with home fries,eggs Benedict with real lobster and hollandaise sauce is to die for , the Belgium waffle with fresh fruits will have you craving for more. The
portions are filling will recommend this place 👌

The wife and I had been wanting breakfast out for awhile and finally made it happen today at the Eagles Nest. We were not disappointed. I had pancakes & bacon, she had eggs benedict which she said were right up there with the best she ever had.

We love this restaurant, the owners and staff! The food is always excellent and the portions are enormous! Bring yourselves and your families to Eagle's Nest - you will not be disappointed!

Food and service was very good. Veggie omelet was correctly seasoned and tasty. Home fries had just the right amount of salt.

Nice little restaurant with a hometown feel. Family type feel being there. Eggs and bacon with home fries, my typical order at a diner. They do a good job, just how you order it.

Food is so good! Breakfast sandwich had 2 eggs and 2 sausage patty for Like $6 and it was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've had. The patty melt is fantastic too.
