TJ's Restaurant & Pizza

My department ordered some takeout for lunch and the food was ready on time, the employees I spoke with when I picked up were very nice and the food was tasty.
I got a chicken Caesar salad and the portion was huge, the chicken was massive and it was fresh, warm and well seasoned. I also really like the Caesar dressing they use.
We didn't try the pizza but it sure did smell good when I went to pick up! I would recommend trying them out if you're in the area.

We have been coming to TJ’s for years! The consistency of great food, portions, and prices is our favorite thing about the restaurant. We always know we are going to get a great meal and above all are always welcomed by the friendly staff! In my opinion they have the best salads in the area. My husband loves their pizza. The menu has something for everyone in our family which makes it an easy choice for our dinner plans!

TJ'S is a great family friendly restaurant with pizza, sandwiches, pasta, dessert and more! We've been 3 times in the past few months with friends young and old! Everyone finds something on the menu that they enjoy! I would absolutely recommend dine in and take out!

Pizzas are scrumptious, and many special pizzas as well as regular. Owners are very polite and friendly. My favorite pizza place and many other great dishes as well. Love them! ❤💯

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs, a pepperoni pizza, and a Grandma's pizza. The meatballs were nicely done, solid but tender, and came in a nice sauce. The pepperoni pizza was very good. A nice crust with a very slight crisp and nicely chewy. A good ratio of cheese and sauce made for a very good food experience. The Grandma's pizza was my favorite of the three. Very nicely done sauce, beautiful light and airy crust, an excellent food experience. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.

This truly a great place to eat. The food is fantastic and the people who work there are very nice. Super high recommendation.

No matter what time of day me and my family go into the restaurant it’s always super clean the staff are always friendly. Nick the owner is more than likely there he greats everyone makes sure everything is good with the food and etc. no matter what dish or pizza my family or I get it’s always outstanding always cooked perfect and amazing flavor

This is a cool spot. The people are friendly and polite. The food was good. I wish I was here for dinner to try some of the other items. I am visiting from out of state and glad I chose this restaurant!

We found TJ’s in the summer 2017 visiting friends in Old Lyme. The food is great - there is something for everyone! Burgers, pizza, pasta. Generous portions & great prices.

I love this place. My friend and I order everything we want and have leftovers all week. We had a large pizza with eggplant. Ravolie and spagettie with meatbals. The Italian dishes and the pizza, especially the eggplant pizza are delicious. It's always busy when we go but the wait is short and worth it. Not sure about reservations but my guess is no. Not sure about alcohol served. Clean, staff pleasant and fast. Parking lot is small but we never have a problem.

Driving home and got off highway for dinner. Got couple of pizzas, few appetizers and desserts.
Good food. Courteous staff. Reasonably priced.
Would definitely recommend it.

Very good. We had a super friendly waitress. We tried three pizzas, all were delicious. French fry pizza was soooooo good.

Everything is great. but change the hours on your website because i was very disappointed when i got there and u guys were closed when it said u were open on your website.

So TJ’s has been a long time fave of mine and my family’s. Sadly, a lot of their food has milk/dairy now so we can’t really go there much anymore. However, my husband and I went for our anniversary and had the best service from Catherine. She was so kind and attentive checking on quite literally everything I was going to eat. I am so paranoid about my lactose intolerance and she totally took it in stride. The cooking staff was gracious enough to let me create my own lactose free meal so that was pretty cool! Thank you TJ’s & Catherine for 5 star service. 😁 ps-my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Surf N Turf meal!

We stopped for lunch on our roadtrip and was pleasantly surprised by the great food we were served. We hada very friendly waitress who made things even better. Great food for a reasonable price and served with a smile. Best combo! 🙂

Have been ordering take-out for years at TJ's Nick/Stephanie owners always there, and Dee-Dee, manager always there! Food portion size, and quality, second to none! No matter what I have ordered for take-out, I have never left disappointed! I have also used them for catering, fantastic as well!

The best!! Great food, along with portion size and the owner is AMAZING!
