Well, I'm 66years years old and I grew up in Bloomfield Ct. My Mom and Dad had the most beautiful Hitchcock Dining room table anywhere, including 8 Chairs and 4 little Benches throughout the house, and they all are absolutely Gorgeous Gems. Mom and Dad are both gone now, however, they passed down all their beautiful Hitchcock Furniture to me thier only child Michael Anthony, the Table is just stunning, not one mark or nick anywhere on the piece, just perfect. The Chairs and Benches are just as beautiful, and I take care of them just like Mom taught me to over the years and I will lovingly pass everything on to my only child Kristin Joy who, by the way, knows exactly how to take care of them properly having also been taught by Grandma so they'll go on for Generations to come ...

We have some older pieces that wear well and the new ones are just as high quality. Well done!

My husband and I loved this store. We purchased several pieces in addition to chairs which have all held up very well. Real quality, beautiful furniture at reasonable prices. Now have an antique Hitchcock table that was purchased at the Brimfield Fair and would like to get it refinished. So happy to learn that the store has re-opened!

I was surprised and thrilled to see that the Hitchcock chair company is alive and well. I had been under the mistaken impression that the business had closed down years ago. I was excited to fund that I am able to refurbish a rocking chair and be able to have a lovely Hitchcock chair for many, many years to come!

My parents bought a dining room table and six chairs here around 1989. It was used constantly for regular family meals, large dinner parties, potlucks, we did homework on it, did art projects on it, etc. until 2018 when they downsized and I put it in my then apartment for my family. It moved a few towns over with us to our new house. We are still eating at it. My daughter painted part of the chair back with acrylic paint in hot pink. I sanded it off and it’s basically unnoticeable. We have friends over, place huge Amazon packages on the table, eat all meals there, etc. We are just now thinking of getting a new one after one chair rung broke (our damage and mishandling 100%) and our small kitchen/dining room is basically built for a rectangular style table.

We can’t decide what to buy. We should probably just drive to CT and purchase a new set here!

What great news! It must be 12-13 years ago that I learned of the closure and I was very sad. Congratulations and much success to the "new" ownership.

Absolutely the best furniture ever. Can't leave there without buying something. They had closed down some time back for a while, but they are open again. Nice place.

It was a walk down memory lane from when I was 19 and fell in love with Hitchcock furniture.
So happy it is making a comeback!

Our company was contacted by Rick Swenson, one of the owners of Hitchcock Chair Company, in regards to repainting a set of damaged chairs for a client of theirs. We completed the work as agreed upon. We completed the work in April 2016. They are refusing to pay our invoice, and won't return our phone calls. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
