Parthenon Diner-Old Saybrook

This was a good sized diner in Old Saybrook, where we stopped for an early dinner. The food was good, reasonably priced and filled our bellies well. The staff were warm, nice and friendly and the service was prompt.

Great diner. Great food. Excellent Eggs Benedict. Huge place, every parking spot was full. Walked in the front door and was seated immediately. Staff were all over us. Since we go to the shoreline all the time, this is our new goto place for breakfast

I have traveled across this beautiful country eight times and this diner is one of the finest I’ve ever come across. It’s immaculately clean and the sense of love and family welcomes you as soon as you walk in and the experience, for me, was like a nice slice of Americana just perfect for this holiday.

Such wonderful people.

I've been to Parthenon multiple times, and the food is always great! I have gotten simple sandwiches, full entrees, and Greek items. For such a large menu, everything always tastes fresh and the food comes out pretty fast.

I like getting an entree because you get the soup before, plus a dessert after. When getting takeout, I love the Torino Panini because it travels well and is great left over!

This is a great place for a quick bite, a family stop, or takeout!

Delicious breakfast with plentiful food! Everyone's plates I saw (customers) also were amazing plates full of waffles, eggs or omelets!! 😊

Paleo dinners and Broccoli Rabe were excellent. Easy online takeout order, quick and friendly service. Special requests were perfect.

I'm a doordasher, and there service is slow.
The younger ladies that work on the weekend are so much nicer than the older ladies. I dread when I have to get an order from this place!

Service was great! The food was delicious! The host as well as wait staff are very friendly and courteous. And my meal (Broiled Stuffed Sole w/ a side of mashed potatoes) was beautifully presented 😍 I've been going to this diner since it opened and have always loved the food. Well done Parthenon! 🙌🏽

Great diner. I was not able to get my waitress’s name but she was amazing. Great staff and atmosphere will definitely be back!

Parthenon Diner was spectacular. The food was excellent at a very good price. We actually wished that we had eaten every meal there while we were in that part of Connecticut. Our server was a young Spanish girl and it's killing me that I can't remember her name because she was superb. Give Parthenon a try and you will love it like we did.

Lovely local diner- we visited while traveling and they were wonderful. Very accommodating to my two toddlers and food was great. Staff was very friendly and treated everyone like family.

Very friendly staff and great food. Visiting from out of state (NYC) and was not disappointed by food or fair prices! Recommended!

Clean place, cute place, extremely polite and attentive staff. Delicious food at very fair prices. I definitely recommend this Diner, at least for breakfast.
