Eli's Orange

Visiting from out of town on business. Nice place and friendly staff with lots of menu and drinks choices. Mac n Jack was superb... as was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cannoli porter.... 😋

I’ve been somewhat of a regular here and I absolutely love it. The menu has a ton of great options - I personally recommend the Philly Eggrolls and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Always a ton of great stuff on tap but their cocktails are definitely worth checking out as well. And the service has always been excellent - special shout out to Michelle, behind the bar! It’s also a great spot for some bar trivia so grab some friends and test your wit!

My first time at Eli's, I saw the owner talking on TV talking about the menu and showing some of the things they served. Decided we should try it an wasn't disappointed. The brussel sprouts were great. My friend enjoyed the burger she got.

It's definitely a family-like restaurant. Not my type of cuisine, but that doesn't take away from the staff's performance all around. There are multiple televisions all over the place, and raised cushioned seating.
Not sure if I'd return in the near future (as a reviewer I have other priorities) but I'm sure down the line there may be a chance to do so for a family meal.

The menu: American with an Italian twist. They offer brunch, lunch, dinner, and late-night selections.
What I liked: The staff were friendly, the Broccoli Rabe with sausage is my favorite item but may not always be on the menu. The food is very good so you shouldn’t be disappointed in anything.
Bar/Alcohol: Beer selection is ok, not really big but includes local brewery options as well as cans.
Summary: Overall we really enjoyed our visit to Eli’s. It is a great place to meet up with friends, stop in for a drink and wings, or have a full dinner meal.

The best salad of any other American fare restaurant in the greater New Haven area within the same price range, hands down, every time, at all their locations. On the one occasion that I received a salad with wilted, soupy lettuce, they offered a replacement, but were more than happy to just take it off the bill. They didn’t give me any guff about not wanting more salad after that. This place goes above and beyond every single time there has been any semblance of an issue. And their food is top notch. At this point, I don’t know why I occasionally try other places. Compared to Eli’s, they are usually disappointing.

The only restaurant at which I get better customer service, is the one I worked at for like a decade. Never worked at Eli’s, nor do I know anyone that does, but I get treated like a VIP by management every time I interact with them. And again, their food is SO GOOD 💖

YUM! Stayed at a hotel 5mins away and went here last night for dinner. Got hungry looking at the photos online. I had the huge pretzel, burger was really moist but I'm not very happy with the calamari. Still, it was a nice cozy place. Nice staff and bartender.

Ask for Melissa! She is so down to Earth. Really took great care of us today.

Food was great with a large and very different variety of beers. Was able to try two different beers from brewers I had never heard of. Always nice to a restaurant like this supporting smaller and more niche breweries. Will be returning soon hopefully. If you stop by here make sure you get the steak and cheese egg rolls those were to die for and with that aioli they were just *chef's kiss* amazing. Friendly waitstaff we were even able to enjoy the last bit of this warmer weather on their patio. Job well done guys!

Had the chicken BLT sandwich and I'm still thinking about it...was juicy, crispy and delicious!! The server was friendly and attentive.
Will be back.

Food was great! Our server was above and beyond , we were a big group and she was very courteous , knew her menu and she made sure nothing was missing from our table. Her name is Angie. Even through the Covid19 situation that we are going through, they had excellent customer service and followed social distancing perfectly. I had the fish and chips , it was beyond delicious. I recommend this place for a good meal and great time.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing!! They were out of a lot of beers but food was awesome.

Omg first time back at Eli's in 3yrs since the cov 19 days. This place is still great, the food was Amazing and the young lady server ( Taylor) she was so nice and pleasant and my sistas and i so enjoyed are time back. Keep doing what your doing you guys ROCK!
