Apex Pharmacy and Elegant Touch Gifts

It's like old fashioned service. I went in there for the first time and they remembered speaking with me yesterday. Very personable and the store has absolutely everything you need.
To the gentleman in the compounding pharmacy that spoke to me tonight about my nasal spray and lozenges I want to thank you for treating me like a person again. It's been a long road and it's been 8 years of me struggling and I just don't have anybody that hears me. You did so thank you so very much I needed that tonight.

Why use Apex Compounding Pharmacy versus the big retails.

1. They are easier to deal with
2. They do not give you an attitude
3. Less crowded.
4. All the major pharmacies are severely short staffed and the pharmacists are forced to fulfill a quota. This results in delays and mistakes in filling prescriptions. They are going on a strike in November.
5. Prescriptions at Mom and Pop pharmacies are cheaper. They have lower overheads.

I needed a wheel chair for my broth-in-law and could not find one anywhere! Andre from Apex saved the day! He gave me good advice that was very helpful. That is what you call superior customer service! I will use Apex for any future medical equipment needs!

Tee, Debbie and Andres in the home care department were all awesome. I came to APEX after a competitor was rude and unable to provide me with a nebulizer machine. I would recommend going directly to APEX for all your health care needs. It was a pleasure to see all the employees eager to assist all that came in the store. Bonus points for patiently calling my insurance company and getting the machine paid for!

Any time I needed my medication, they would make sure I had them right on time. Very pleasant experience. You are a person and not just a customer and they treat people very well.

After trying in vain to get an item at Yale Surgical (see my one-star review there), compared with which the Verizon Wireless store is a pleasant shopping experience), I drove to Hamden to get the same item at Apex. After I was politely directed to the correct department, the clerk greeted my appropriately, looked at my prescription, walked directly to the correct item hanging on a retail rack, answered all my questions professionally, rang me up, threw in a 10% discount just because it was a nice day, and I was outta there. Was this the greatest retail shopping experience of my life? Well, buying surgical supplies isn't all that exciting. But it was polite, efficient, competent (No one said, "Oh, I'll have to check with my supervisor."), and painless. Plus the parking is easy. Could I have bought the same item on Amazon for a few dollars less? Probably, but I wouldn't have known exactly which item to buy. This was better.

Went in to try out rollators and they had a nice selection and very helpful, caring staff. Had everything a person with a disability needs and more. Will definitely be back!

Excellent customer service. A compounding lab on the premises which is something you don't find often ( I've used the service many times for my dog's meds) very efficient and timely. This Pharmacy has a lot to serve the public. Nutrition area( a huge assortment of the best brands supplements and many other services.

I started using Apex Pharmacy again and have always been happy. I used to be on a medication that you could only get In Canada or overseas. Due to Apex compounding department I was always able to get there. I’m also impressed I was always able to get surgical supply items that I couldn’t get at other pharmacies.

My husband and I have been going to Apex for years. Our experience has been great - they will go the extra mile for their customers.

Very happy that they have everything I needed for my asthma, the young lady at the counter asked do you have a face mask and made sure I had what I needed. I did not realize it came separate.

APEX is such a dynamite place. They introduced me to BIO FREEZE a wonder musle pain reliever better than any of the other brands and the staff is very nice and really go out of their way to help you.

I love them i go to get mt mom medical things from here and both girls there are alway wonderful nicole and the other young lady they always help me and are real polite and helpfull i do recommended.
