Love this store. Super friendly employees and great place to save money on groceries and other great products. These days we all need to look for the best deals and I can promise you that you will definitely save money shopping here and find great deals.

Great store to shop. The place is clean and parking area very large. Selections of fruit and vegetables very limited.🍁 From fresh produce to organic foods, we’ve got it all for less, every day. Come into the Hamden ALDI and get your favorite groceries for your home at incredibly low prices!🍁

I normally go to ober in Milford, but I work close to this one so if there's traffic on way home, I waste time in here! Plenty of parking. This one is bigger than Milford too, but not more selection. Prices have gone up this year, but still significantly less than most any other place. Just know you won't get name brand, except on occasion. Fruit and veggies are good. Love Clancy chips. Every Friday I get my .49 fruit pie... chicken and salmon prices are hard to beat. Nice vegetarian selections, and gluten free items too. Prices for nondairy milk is awesome. Eggs are always cheap.. even cheaper than on sale at pricerite. I love their ipa, and the one I buy is $8 for 6pk, compared to $12 at other store for comparable item. I do 90% of my shopping at aldi. Love it. Couldn't make my budget without them.

This brand new Aldi location is a wonderful addition to the Hamden community.

The building itself is very clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate (great signage!) It is also handicap accessible with, wheelchair friendly parking lot and entrance, wide aisles and checkouts.

It has all of the things we love and respect from the Aldi brand: low prices, friendly quick service, organic fresh produce, gf and many healthy buying options as well as great seasonal home and lifestyle buys.

This is my favorite location so far. I love that the produce and fresh flowers are the first thing that you walk into, and the wide open layout. I found the staff to be a little green (they just opened!) but very helpful, friendly, and hard working. I imagine that this location will remain very busy. It was packed when we were in, one day after the grand opening.

If you have never been to an Aldi location: bring a quarter and reusable bags, and enjoy the savings!

ALDI in Hamden is clean, and offers a wide variety of grocery items at low prices. I love the convenient pickup service. Save money and time when you shop at ALDI.

Excellent place to buy cheaper produce. Strawberries at this time always half price of reg grocery. Eggs cheaper than Walmart next door. They don’t have everything you need but between here and Walmart next door you can get 90% of groceries for much less. Love Aldi!

Love Aldi's. Great prices, decent selection of items, there gluten free brand is the best around, especially the brownies.

Store is neat and clean and the cashiers are very fast and friendly

The employees are kind and willing to help you. If you can't find the exact product they will give you simular product suggestions. The store is always clean and checkout runs smoothly and in good time, meaning pretty fast.

The best time to go to this store is in the morning or close to noon. They have a tendency to sell out of certain products so you want to get there early. The Best day would be Mondays right after 12 pm.

You definitely can find some great gems and non-food items like furniture, kitchen gadgets, candles, towels, pet toys, workout accessories, and more.

What can you say? It’d Aldi! This is my favorite grocery store, for the prices and the variety of “Aldi Finds”. I really appreciate how they’ve been consistently stocking more vegan options too. I regularly get their cheeze and fake chicken patties, and sometimes they’ll have special vegan items such as ice cream sandwiches, fake mozzarella sticks, potstickers, etc! You get to know the cashiers as well, and they’re typically very friendly. Love this store!

Small, organize, and cheap. It has all the necessary staff and home needs which is perfect.

Produce is cheap and fresh - berries for 1/2 what they are at Stop and Shop. Store brand items are hit and miss, but overall good. Good for fruit and veg. Meat and cheese look good, but I don't eat them. Coffee also delicious and cheap. Edit: don't forget your quarter for the shopping cart! A little quirk that first timers will find perplexing.

Great prices, good food and great service

This location is actually pretty good. It is situated in the Walmart plaza close to "everything" There is a starbucks close by, stop & shop, shoprite, restaurant and more.

I like this location because it is at the end of the plaza with plenty of parking.

Love it. I do most of my weekly shopping there. So glad they got tofu and other ingredients so I can save so much weekly. I love that many of the products are organic too. During the pandemic the staff was especially professional, helpful and gracious.

Excellent pricing of organic products. If you are not locked in to brand names, you will find the same quality here.
In perhaps 30 minutes you are back in your car with a week's worth of groceries, smiling with satisfaction, knowing that you have saved significantly!

I really like this store and it's set up better than other Aldi's in the area. I always save money and love that they sell beer. I hear so many people complain about the lack of name brand products available, but the Aldi brand products are usually as good or better than what you'll find elsewhere.
Full disclosure though; you won't be able to do 100% of your shopping here and will need to go elsewhere for a few items, but with the money you are saving on the bulk of your shopping, I guarantee you won't mind!
