Stop & Shop

I have been to some Stop & Shop stores in the New Haven area, and definitely, this is the most organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you want a less congested store, I recommend Friday night for groceries.

I love stop & shop for the deli and for the produce. The groceries are a bit expensive. But I won't go anywhere else for my produce or my deli. The store is always clean. I've never had a problem with any of the staff. (Except once at the deli) there's always a police officer in the store so it's very safe. Parking is fantastic. I just wish they would get rid of that stupid robot lol , instead of spending money on that stupid thing they should have given their employees a raise.

I've heard this will be the largest food bazaar in the area, it's right by i95 easy Access to Fairfield county, this happened quickly 😲

You will find all the stuff like that of an any Shop and stop.

Best part open till 12 AM. My go to place for mid night ice cream 😄

Excellent store! Has everything you could possibly want for food! Service is good. Location is good also, plenty of parking. Prices are a little high, but the quality of food is excellent!

Favorite grocery store. Always have what I need. Food is always fresh. Store is always clean. People are always nice... Same view in 2023!

This is a very well run stop and shop. The produce section is usually well-stocked. They usually have enough cashiers. Overall this is one of the better stop and shops in the state.

I love Stop n Shop! I love the items they carry and their prices are reasonable. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I have been coming to the S n S at the corner of Skiff and Dixwell ever since they opened and have no plans to change at this point.

Out of all the Stop & Shops I've been too, which are like 5 or 6 of them. This is my #1 Stop & Shop.
I've been going here for over 5 years love this store.
Have such a friendly staff where you ask for help and they stop doing what they are doing to go help you out .Not like in other stores whether it be stop & shop or not where some days they treat you nice and others like they don't want to be there . I can honestly say I've never ever had a bad experience at this store.
And that's why I changed my rating from a 4 star to a 5star. They deserve it.

Was a rainy day went inside to get some food from the hot section.

My boyfriend and I were looking around all evening for live lobsters and ending up coming to Stop & Shop after our google search pointed us in its direction. The seafood area unfortunately shut down a little sooner due to the employees extended shift but online it stated they were open until 8pm. Winston from the Deli department advised us promptly why someone wasn’t there during they’re stated opening hours and upon our request for a manager, immediately put in a request for the manager to meet us in the seafood department. While waiting, Gerald from the meats department came over and advised he covers shifts for the seafood department when they’re on break and would be happy to helps us! The manager arrived quickly explaining the situation and the unlikelihood of it happening as well. Gerald grabbed, bagged, weighed and labeled our lobsters like a pro! We were and still are thankful for everyone’s participation and our great customer service experience! Our lobster dinner came out fantastic as well. They were large, contained plenty of meat and the price was great! Thank you everyone

Tay, it's 7:15 on a Wednesday. I'm tired, I've been driving for hours and now it's time to buy my groceries. You made it feel like I already made it home. Keep doing you, I look forward to seeing more of it.

I am really impressed with this store. They have a lot of variety, international, organic foods which are fresh, last a while in the refrigerator. The chicken is fresh, the only thing they are missing is an onsite cafe juice and coffee bar

Stopped here for gas as we were passing through, they had most of what we needed but most of the breakfast sandwiches were gone and it was still early morning. As busy as this place is it might be understandable though, so all in all a nice convenience store and the service was good 🙂

I love Stop and Shop. Generally a clean grocery store with an excellent option for vegans/vegetarians. They have 2 aisles dedicated to better health choices. For the most part produce is always fresh and they have organic options available.

I go there almost every other day. I love going there, everything is so easy to find. It is very clean and the staff is always helpful. Thank you to Stop and Shop.

After decades of being a loyal customer of ShopRite, I have switched to Stop &Shop. Everything is fresher, the meats, deli items, are all superior. And, I don't worry about being mugged in the parking lot, like I did at the Plaza...

They had Stop & Shop regular k cup coffee!!! I happened to be in area and stopped in just for that. North and East Haven stores were out
