Anthony's Pizzeria & Deli

Stopped in Antony's Pizzeria & Deli this afternoon, what a great place for great food and the most friendly service. Ordered the West Grill Chicken sandwich, absolutely one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had, starting with the fresh baked bread , grilled chicken, avocado slices, gruyere cheese, bacon, tomato and aioli. DELI CIOUS....... I am guilty of driving past this wonderful eatery too many times, so glad today was different... give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Bread is fresh and homemade! Grinders are always on point! Staff is great. Will be back again!

This tiny place has Very very good pizza. Crisp and chewy thin crust and a light and airy thick crust. Very flavorful tomato sauce and white pizza. About a dozen options for slices in their counter case. Typical traditional and craft toppings. A real gem Lon south main st.

Sandwiches were very good here. Didn’t really like the schiacciata bread for my sandwich. I thought it was quite dry. Everyone else got the sub rolls and those looked very good so next time I’ll opt for that. Fried mozzarella was very good. Would definitely recommend it. A good meal! We will definitely be back here.

Never a letdown. Probably ordered pickup at least half a dozen times during quarantine. Best pizza in Cheshire if you like a thin crust. Their buffalo chicken pizza is one of the best I have had! Even reheated or cold the next day is never disappointing. We’ve also ordered meatball subs/sandwiches/salads/etc before and again, never a bad experience! Easy 5 stars.

Never had a bad meal here. The pizza is amazing and the breads are fantastic. Sometimes there is a wait but it is worth it. Great staff and they try very hard to meet everyone’s needs. Be patient, you won’t regret it.

Ever since quarantine started, I have been using Door Dash more and more. Wife and I tried this spot on a whim one day. We liked it a lot. Tried it again to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke, another great meal. Tried it again to confirm, and the meal was great again.

We’ve now found one of our go-to spots when we want to order food. We have ordered from Anthony’s 5+ times and every single time the food has been consistently good.

The pizza is VERY good. The appetizers are delicious and my wife often gets salads that she likes a lot.

Tonight, another great meal. I had to come on and leave a good review. They have earned it. They’ve never messed up an order and the food has never been inconsistent.

Pizza is phenomenal, definitely try their buffalo chicken “The Calling”. They also have huge delicious salads, their House Cobb is my favorite. I love their online ordering, which I use to order ahead of time, it’s so convenient! Recently took some of their stuffed breads to a holiday party, which the owner was kind enough to cut for me, and they were so good that they didn’t last long!! Definitely my go-to for take out in Cheshire.

Anthony’s continues to wow me every time. I had to order lunch for 10 coworkers at the last minute, and they were able to have everything ready quickly. The food is always fresh and delicious. This is my favorite place in Cheshire for lunch and pizza nights 😊 Thanks Anthony!

Phenomenal sandwiches! Get the chicken cutlet, best on the menu, though everything is good. Parking is a kinda tight, and you might have to wait a bit, but definitely worth the trouble. Good pizza too. 6/5 stars for sure

Ater the delivery company (Uber Eats) failed to find my address( two blocks away), my food was brought back to Anthony's. They sent their own employee to deliver my dinner!! If I hadnt just paid with my card online, I would have given the kid a huge tip( I'll be dropping that off later). The food was just amazing as the recommendation promised. 10 out of 5 stars.

Whenever I am in Cheshire the pizza here is a must. when I picked up my order I was a little worried because I noticed they didn't have a coal or wood fired oven. All of my favorite pizzas from the New Haven area are cooked in coal or wood-fired ovens. That being said this place hit the ball out of the park, delicious!! First time I enjoyed a pizza come out of that style of oven

Ordered Eggplant and Broccoli Rabe with sliced sausage stuffed breads for a get together with friends. They were the bomb!!
Huge breads stuffed to the very ends, very reasonable priced!!

My overall experience was great the staff are accommodating and polite. I got the Chipotle Chicken Handheld on a Panini. It was so tasty and very well made. Panini's can be rough to eat sometimes but this was perfect.

I believe I just had the best meatball parm grinder ever.

Great food - sandwiches are some of the best quality and best variety in the area. There's only a table or two for dining in, so we usually plan to take out. Great deserts too!

Amazing pizza - we got the Rodeo and it was to die for. The atmosphere is almost like a cape cod cafe and you can byob. The food was brought over in a timely manner as well and the cashier girl was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing pizza!! Very fresh ingredients, perfect crust, really good sauce, and very friendly staff! Southend Spirits wine shop next door does free wine tastings at Anthony's on the weekends too! Very delicious and fun combination👍🏻

Pizza and stuffed breads are phenomenal! Add a few minutes on to the time they tell you to pick up. They have become very popular and waiting time can be quite long on weekends.
