My husband adores this place; he believes it serves the best pizza in New Haven. While I enjoy it too, I'm not particularly fond of pizza. Nevertheless, the staff is kind, and service is prompt and efficient. I recommend it.

Fantastic pizza tucked away in a quiet corner of New Haven. Small hole in the wall joint, seating is limited but absolutely worth the visit!

Consistent quality from One 6 Three! Definitely underrated local spot for New Haven pizza. Easily competes with the other mainstay pizza destinations. Thin, New Haven style apizza with great undercarriage, light char and flavorful toppings. They had a student special Thursday as well for 5$ personal cheese pies and 10% off full menu. Great service. While dining area is on the small side, the service was very efficient so you don’t wait very long. The time I ordered takeout pizza was ready exactly on time at 7pm, impressive! Pies I recommend: plain tomato, Casino clam, Spicy Salami and Buffalo chicken :)

It's a cozy little place with an open kitchen concept where you can see your food being made. The pizzas are cooked in actual wood fire and they are delicious! They deliver food to East rock brewery next lane and it's our go to place every time we visit the brewery!

Vegan options available, the vegan sandwich is delicious!

They have a very small raised bed garden outside and you pick a few herbs (seasonal I guess) for free!

Really good wood fired Apizza. We had the brussel sprout & bacon with balsamic glaze, the Fungus Among us and the cheese pizza. Restaurant staff were super accommodating.

Great pizza and sides. Should be in the New Haven Pizza conversation more often.Brick oven, Fresh ingredients, nice crunch and undercarriage/ crust. About 5 two person tables So not much for sitting in. More of a take out spot. Well worth it to go pick it up. Out of the down town city area. In Quiet East Rock

Stopped at this pizza place on the way through New Haven, having already tried other spots, and this place is a competitor, right up there with the more famous places. I highly recommend the fried pickles, they are the best ones I've ever had. I order them whenever I see them on the menu and these were crispy, cut thinly, with a great dipping sauce. The pizza was thin crust and well seasoned. The hot sausage had the right spice level and melded with the bright spinach and garlic. I would love to stop by again!

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. New Haven is known for its pizza so I have put a number of places on my list even though I live 80 minutes away. This one lived up to my expectations. I ordered on line so minimal contact with personnel but the young lady was very pleasant at pickup. I started with the meatballs and man were they good. Four meatballs that had been simmering the sauce so great flavor all the way through. Lots of cheese sitting on top. I also got a pepperoni and sausage pizza that had great flavor, excellent sauce and tasty toppings. My only knock, and this is entirely personal, is that the crust was kind of floppy. Thin and chewy and full of flavor. On a scale of 0-10 I would rate this 9.1

One of the more unique pizza places in CT! Their PB&J+Bacon pizza is very unique if you wanted to try a different style. The fungi is great for mushroom lovers also, and the thick cut bacon is excellent!

Best pizza in East Rock and amongst the top 3 in New Haven. It is truly an art form to watch them cook in the wood fire oven. They also make some pretty decent Mac n Cheese.

First stop stopping in while rushing back to my office. I ordered ahead & they were right on time. Friendly, warm welcome as I walked in the door. I love spots like that! And the personal sausage pizza hit the spot! Expect me every Tuesday :-)

I grew up in New Haven, my family’s still here and this is our new go-to spot when visiting. Brick oven, wood fired, simple San Marzano sauce with thin and slightly burnt crust that has a sourdough taste. I’m usually not a fan of toppings but love the meatball pie as well as the shrimp scampi with white sauce. Great east rock neighborhood vibe too.

Got the fungus among us and the margarita with chicken. Both delicious, really love the sauce in the margarita. It had a bit of a tang. Fungus among us was doughy with a generous dollop of ricotta cheese topped with a delicate aroma of truffle oil.

What great pizza!!! Best from CT I have had so far, almost better then NY or possibly better...

We ordered the Hannibal, meatball, and fungus among us. All three were everything you hoped for in a pizza. Thin crunchy crust that holds all the toppings without getting soggy. The fungus among us has some oil along the crust and it was a truffle garlic bread! It was my first time finishing all the crust from every slice I ate.

Also order the wings, the buffalo is good like always but try the insider tip wings. The Sriracha and bbq mix is shockingly good, you don’t even need any bleu cheese for that one.

Fried mozzarella curds were the best fried cheese things I have ever had. Crispy little cheesy nuggets of goodness and dipped in their homemade ranch is to die for. The home made ranch can make a shoe taste good.

Don’t miss this place!

Stopped here on our way to NYC. Best thin crust I've had since I left MA. I now live in NH, and the pizza there sucks!!!

Pretty solid joint for a local spot. It’s not the best pizza in town, obviously, but it’s also more affordable than the more famous joints. It is a good pizza for locals, limited seating, very quick brick oven style, and as a bonus they have beef pepperoni!

Some of the best pizza I've had. If you love mushrooms you have to try Fungus Among Us!

This place was altogether a 10/10 ! I would highly recommend to anyone ! Great customer service, food, and vibe ! Just missing the alcohol but I believe it’s BYOB lol . Will definitely be coming back !

First time trying Connecticut pizza and it did not let us down. The variety of ingredients in there pizzas were exotic but meshed well together. I don’t think I’ve had a most unique, flavorful, perfectly cooked pizza in my life. Definitely can’t wait to go there again and try every flavor that they have.
