Good customer service & they stayed open during the pandemic. The employees go through so much dealing with a few messy or rude customers, but they still maintain their composure. Thank you do the downtown New Haven Employees of dollar general.

It was cool. The manager is great. The staff is cool but they have some rude as* customers who don't understand 6 ft even though the staff is constantly asking them to comply.

Omg, this place is so perfect and you can find almost anything there for less than 10 dollars. The customer care is helpful and so kind. Yall should visit there

Surprisingly large on the inside, kind of like a mini Wal-Mart. Items are generally of pretty decent quality. Staff were friendly.

Lots of great bargains here...much cheaper than Stop 'n Shop. Shorter lines, for that matter.
