Applebee's Grill + Bar

What better way to ward off the dreariness of a dark rainy day than to have a meal. And my dear friend suggested Applebee’s.
I was delightfully surprised.
Upon walking in, we were greeted by Maryann, a most gracious host. She was a breath of fresh air!
Lexi, our attentive server, clinched the win - and we have not even started eating.
The food was gastronomically good! My friend had the sirloin and I the chicken and shrimp.
I highly recommend Applebee’s Groton CT.

We needed a quick bite to eat as we snacked earlier and this fit the bill. I had the buffalo boneless chicken and 10 pieces with enough for five dollars. Had the margarita which was tasty though it didn’t really taste like much tequila in there. it was fine. The server was very professional.

Nice place, Good food, G reat prices. Amber is the best server at Groton Applebees...ask for her by name, you won't be dissppointed. Small salads are disappointing.

Great place for Sunday Football. Beer specials $5/6, appetizers $5. Can show you any game around the country. I requested the Rams-Cards game in Arizona, no problem.

Had dinner for 4, cost $120, including 18% tip, very reasonable. Kudos to Angel, Chelsea and the staff supervisor who served dinner. They are a great crew.

Now, if they can only keep the music down a few less levels....

First time here. Ordered take out...Chicken Quessadillas. They were very good.

Had a great family dinner. The food was delicious and service was quick, friendly, and accurate. Definitely would return if ever in Connecticut again.

Kayla was awesome! Not only was she most of everyone's server but, also the hostess. She was attentive, sweet, and very welcoming. I haven't been to Applebees in YEARS but, this one in Groton is a very nice welcome back. Great food, service, and easy to spot from roads. The deals and selection of food is amazing, was not expecting that good of quality. Recommend to others in area.

Great dining experience! I've been going to Applebee's over 20 years and even worked at one as one of my first jobs and this Applebee's was great! Friendly and attentive staff, super hot and delicious food. My husband had the whisky burger and I had thr chicken bacon ranch sandwich, I always get the oriental chicken salad but tried something new and it didn't disappoint. I wanted to leave a review because I think they deserve more then thr current 3.8 stars which is maybe from past management. Try them again!

Our server was such a sweetheart! Prompt service, food and drinks were out quickly and still super good. Food was hot and fresh. My family and I absolutely love Applebees and this location didn’t disappoint!

I met a online friend but obviously irl and needed to meet up somewhere and decided just to go here... I was ok with it but honestly in the end service was good and so was food....

The place was a little busy but I have to say the host was amazing and talked to us long enough to give the waitress time to catch up ! She was amazing first impression! Told us about her family in Fla ! Great job

I haven't been to an Applebee's since 2005 - and I was impressed with my visit. We stopped in for a birthday lunch . This location was clean, had some neat decorations to do with the area, & was open promptly on time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Portions of the fish & chips were impressive - not one person could finish them ! The food was excellent. We will absolutely be back.

I had such an awesome awesome and great experience at Applebees. I ordered the kids cheesy pizza, and when it hit my lips, it felt like Jesus kissing me. Absolute perfection. It felt like I undercovered the holy grail. I will ask my parents every week to let me come back. 17/5 stars.

A nice place, chain franchise with attentive and kind staff.

Late night visit. Got there at around 9:15 pm. Waited a couple of minutes for staff to seat us, but service was great after that. Food served was perfect. Wonton tacos were crispy and fresh. Blondie for dessert was just what I needed.

Was there for a lunch meeting. Everything was terrific. Waitress was right on top of things. Will definitely be going here again. Definitely recommend.

Best service of an Applebee's yet...Waitress Ashley is AMAZING and goes above n beyond to make sure her tables are more than OK with their dining out...food was delicious and prices right...restaurant extremely clean

Got the oriental chicken and sangria...good thing I went thru the salad before taking a bite...the middle core from the lettuce was in my food! That thing was about 3 inches wide and 4 inches long...hard as a rock! I would've broken a tooth!
