Left paint dust on dashboard but overall an ok job

I went there to setup an appointment and got a pretty decent quoted price, which I was happy with. Well, when it came time to drop off the car, I wasn't so happy. The morning I dropped it off, like what was agreed upon, I was told to reschedule. I drove 35 min out there to the auto body before work and made my girlfriend also miss work so that I could do this and the guy tells me they are too booked up. You'd think, a company that has been around for as long as they have would know by now exactly how long each job should take? I was told to come back in 2 weeks and the man claimed he did not overbook and that jobs take longer than expected. Never once before have I been delayed like that due to "unforeseen issues". This is a fairly standard practice and these kinks should be ironed out. So not only did I was over an hour of my time, I didn't get an apology whatsoever for this delay and I didn't even get a courtesy call telling me that this wasn't going to work. I would not be upset had they simply called me either the business day before or that morning that it wasn't going to work, at least I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Another thing worth noting, by now, every professional place uses a computerized system that allows them to properly estimate the labor hours for each project and schedule it in such a way that something like this doesn't happen. I was not the only person that was either put on hold or turned away that day due to overbooking.
