Stop & Shop

Very helpful in the bakery dept. Was looking for gluten free baked goods.

Shout out to the group in the deli. They always look swamped but have a great attitude. But this review is for Terry. Even with the usual crowd waiting, I watched him come out from behind the counter to help a very elderly gentleman that was getting flustered. Terry helped him break down his shopping list and quickly picked out all the items on the man’s list from the precut deli area. You could tell the gentleman was very relieved and grateful. It’s nice to see people go out of their way to help others!

Convenient & close. Not a big variety like the bigger stores, but good enough. Think needs a makeover though. I go there every week, it is close. Prices fair.

Work for them so kinda biased. I give it a high 95% because no where is truly perfect but we are very close!

Prices here are much better than the Big y in Tolland. I wish it was a closer dive I would do all my shopping here instead. They have a good selection of grass feed beef and their produce seems to be more fresh and with more variety. They also have boars head meats.

Love the online order and pick up. I can reorder the stuff I ordered last week and be on my way. Oh and every single person who has brought my groceries to my car has been so nice and pleasant and professional. Love my Stop & Shop!!

I don't shop here often, because I work at a competitor grocery store, but I was off today and wanted a few storm provisions. Ashley, in the deli went above and beyond to go find the deli meat I asked for, as they were out of it. She found the brand salesman who happened to be in the store at the time and had him dig thru boxes to find it. Thank you Ashley! Excellent customer service!!

I am a handicapped person who needs help unloading my cart, bagging and transporting the groceries to my van. I have always found the staff to be wonderfully supportive, and helpful with any question or problem that I may have while I'm in the store. Love My Stop & Shop. I hate it when Stop & Shop does not carry an item that I used, where I need to go to a different supermarket to pick up that one item. Unfortunately it's never one item so they're losing hundreds of dollars from me every month or two just because they don't carry one item that I need. I'm sure I'm not the only one that they lose money on because they don't carry a specific item that they need. I guess they feel that if it's not used enough that they'll lose money, but they lose money anyway so I don't know why they don't carry this item any longer.

Yesterday we had a field trip to Stop & Shop for our preschool class. Nicole was so amazing to all the kids! She was so wonderful and made our field trip such a joy !

Very sad to write after being a loyal customer for 20 years the relationship between myself and a shift lady manager went sour. Drinking water bottle price on the shelf was displayed 3.99. At the check out out came out 4.49. I asked them to check the price. The check out lady brought the price tag. Another higher African American supervisor was called. He did not make any decision. The next supervisor lady called and she said that the number does not match. I said your price tag clearly says 3.99 under the bottles. No one can read small numbers. She refused and I left the loaded cart and walked away never go back again to that Stop and Shop. If you are charged wrong price, don't you get free merchandise. But I believe I'm not a white person. It doesn't apply to non white US citizens.

This Stop & $hop is definitely one to set the standards to for other stores it is always full of everything you need and everything is fresh the vegetables are beautiful they seem to just carry everything that you would need. The HBA area can be a little pricey unlike another grocery store close by but besides that the store itself is as close to perfect as we're going to get.

This stop and shop is wonderful because the staff is so helpful and kind! For example when we were wondering if the jackfruit was ripe the cut it for us to see if it is ripe! I love all the fresh produce and the the pre-made meals!

I usually shop the sales with coupons and earn points for gas. Always clean and bright, friendly staff!

Shopping at this store in Vernon, CT there is a fantastic employee who always goes above and beyond customer's expectations and is absolutely amazing. Mahbuba always has a smile on her face and answers questions and is just delightful to interact with. This girl knows exactly how to solve any issue I've had and is just so kind and helpful. Great service!!

Convienant location. Clean store. All my items(some obscure) are reliably always in stock.

I like the stop and shop stores. I use their circular to plan my meals and I can always find great specials. Love the gas point savings.

Vernon stop and shop is one of my favorite ones! Always clean and the employees are always kind.
I run in for a few things and always seem to make it in and out quick hassle-free.
